    Yesterday evening our water heater was leaking. We called Holt Plumbing & Heating, and they sent J.D. out after hours to see what was going on. He arrived after 7PM and was friendly, funny, and most importantly knowledgeable. He walked us through the malfunction, and talked to us about some additional WDM hard water issues, etc. He provided us with a variety of options to get us back up and running asap. Austin showed up about 9AM, ready to get to work. We worked with him to make sure we were on the same page as far as installation, piping, etc. and he made it happen. He was able to maximize the space in the utilities area, clean up the prior piping to look and function professionally, made sure we got our warranty information completed, marked our salt bin for “when to refill” and “how high to fill,” cleaned the area, and was utterly amazing. Nate (supervisor) even swung out to see how it was going since it was such a big job, we replaced both the water heater and water softener. We would recommend J.D., Austin, and Holt Plumbing to anyone, and can’t thank Nate enough for having such a solid team! Thanks guys!

    Logan was the tech who came to service my plumbing issues. He was very thorough & communicated very well. He quickly located the cause of the issue I was having & provided the steps to resolve. Logan also offered additional services for things that wasnt necessarily on my mind but that I found to be very helpful, such as reminding me that my water heater may need replaced in the near future due to its age. I did not feel pressured at all to agree to anything, which for me, is a HUGE plus! I give Holt & Logan 5 stars for their responsiveness, knowledge, work completion & customer service. Ill absolutely use Holt & hopefully Logan for any future plumbing needs.

    Chad and Jon came down with a new furnace, AC, and hot water heater. They talked to me when they first arrived about a couple of things and then they went to work. A short 5 hours later they were wrapping everything up. They took all the old equipment with them. Both technicians were very professional. Chad spent plenty of time making sure I understood the new thermostat as well as showing me some things on my duct work that he made look so much better. All my questions were answered and I couldn’t be happier with the job they did. If you need a new hvac system or maybe just some light plumbing work done, I would highly recommend Holt Plumbing and Heating!

    Felt great having Pat and Micki install our furnace. They spent all day at our home on a Friday, tested, cleaned up and walked us through their work and how to run the thermostat. In retrospect, we lucked out big time. They left a great impression. Hard workers, and they know their stuff. Highly recommend.

    Our drain tech had to come out twice to clear the drain. On the first trip, after being over an hour late nexus he had a rough night the night before, he worked on trying to clear it, but the clog would not clear out. He gave us good info on what we needed to have done prior to them coming back to clear the drain. On the second trip out, he successfully cleared the drain and came in at about half of what he estimated initially! He also gave us good info on how to prevent and maintain the drain in the future.30-day update- the drain was backing up & when I asked if it was covered under the initial visit, they said yes. The drain tech showed up and fought me on paying for it. He said it could be a different clog, but since his camera was down, there was no way to be sure. I finally spoke to a manager who said I didnt have to pay, then Quentin was outraged and stormed out running into my autistic grandson, who was confused about why that just happened.I wont be calling Holt in the future if they send Quentin out again.

We had a water pressure issue with our water heater, and they were incredibly quick to send someone out to help. Jakob went above and beyond to address the problem, taking the time to explain everything and ensure the issue was fully resolved before leaving. His professionalism, expertise, and dedication to getting the job done right were outstanding.     Daniel came this morning to switch out the pressure switch on my furnace. He is a very professional, friendly, and very efficient service technician. You can tell immediately that he is very knowledgeable and experienced which really puts your mind at ease.     Logan M. did an amazingly professional job from the time he arrived until he completed the installation of a new water heater. We had some special requirements in our basement, which he listened to carefully and he put us completely at our ease. Logan took great care inside our home. He was calm, focused, attentive, and very personable. This was our first time with Holt and our experience with Logan definitely means we will continue our relationship. And we’d ask for Logan again in the future too!

    Logan Moser was very courteous, friendly and patient when reviewing the work that needed done and the various options to repair two toilets. He took his time to explain what needed to be fixed, and what could be done, including repairing both, repairing one and replacing one or replacing both. He gave me good options and discounts and reviewed options to finance, which included 0% interest for my choice of how many months. He worked very quickly and was done replacing both In just a few hours! I am thrilled with his work and would definitely recommend him!

    Rob was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough with his inspection. He was very happy to not only explain what he was inspecting, but provided pictures and live video to help explain his points. While he explained the various services that Holt offers, he never pushed any parts/services. He gave me realistic expectations on the performance of my furnace and AC in the coming years.     Chad was professional and right on time. He explained that he was doing and made sure we were happy and didn’t have any questions prior to leaving, Chad did a great job.     I am one that’s big on Customer Service and this company delivers! They scheduled my service in short time .Ben was thorough inthe assessment and listened to my concerns and answered every one of them.Now we know what it needs to be done besides the maintenance that Ben did .Pricing is transparent and clear.I would definitely use them again if necessary and would positively recommend them.Need new water heater and Collector Box for furnace,thats next on to do list.

    Lucas was great. Completed the task in a very quick and efficient matter. Once the task was completed he made sure to clean up and explain things before leaving.Dave also did a great job on the day after Lucas was at my residence. I figured out I needed another task done before I could complete my renovation project. Lucas and Dave were in communication with one another about what had happened the day prior and the quote I received for the additional work. They did a great job figuring out a game plan and got it completed very well.They both did great work!

    We just upgraded our 20yr old AC/furnace with Holt. Every member of the team was great to work with. Justin started the process and made sure we were aware of the latest technology, credits, rebates, etc as we made our selection. And then Chad and Jon installed the equipment today and you can tell truly care about their workmanship. I highly recommend Holt!

Jacob came on Friday the 13th, the day our water heater died, to assess the situation, and Jakob (I think Im spelling his name incorrectly) was here this morning with a new water heater and had it installed by early afternoon, and he drove on very icy roads to get here.     We really liked Keith. Super knowledgeable and listened to all our concerns and he seemed really honest and forthright.     We needed a stool leakage repair fixed and flooring replaced in a bathroom.     Logan arrived bright and early and was very professional. He did everything in a timely manner. He was replacing my faucet in my kitchen and in my bathroom I have no complaints.     Quentin Cyrus the plumber from Holt plumbing was elite. He did what Smith plumbing couldn’t do the two times they came out and charged me to fix their issue they didn’t fix. He also showed me the camera that he ran down the pipe to show me what he cleaned and how he cleaned it and show me the tool he used. Smith plumbing ran a snake punctured a hole in the gunk which filled back up without cleaning the actual pipe. I am definitely grateful for the job he did and now my basement doesn’t have to stink and get flooded every time I do a lot of laundry

    Over the top service! My appointment was scheduled the day after I called, remarkable considering other plumbing services can take weeks to schedule. The plumber, Austin, arrived on time and quickly figured out a solution. He found the needed parts at a local hardware store and returned to finish the job. He kept me apprised of the estimated costs along the way, and explained what he was doing throughout the visit. I’d hire these folks again in a heartbeat.

Holt plumbing on the other hand could really use some help with their scheduling. Having to block out the entire day seems a bit 20th century. 72 degrees was much better at offering a narrower appointment window. My 5 star rating is for Trenton, not his employer.

    I was happy that when Holt the old 72’ came out to service my air conditioner. The technician was very knowledgeable and did what they said they would do. I purchased both air and furnace last year and I was concerned with the switch and what that meant for my ten year warranty. I was very happy with there service and I would recommend them.     Over the Labor Day Holiday, our central air stopped working. With one phone call, we were put on the schedule for Tuesday for a diagnostic reading to figure out the issue. Our tech, Ben M, was understanding when he called to give me his eta that I was in the pick up line at school for our children. I let him know about what time I would be arriving and he was there literally as I was shutting off my vehicle. He did his thing and came back with a small sensor thing(high voltage and he gave the actual name but I couldnt repeat it if I tried, 😂). Ben fixed it in no time and even helped me get signed up for the service plan where we make a small payment every month and you guys come out every 6 months to check our equipment. First time home owner here so this whole situation had me stressed but Ben made the whole thing simple and easy. We will be Holt customers for as long as we own a home!

    I noticed on Sunday that the top of my water heater was getting rusty and found it to be strange so I googled it. Turns out it was not venting properly and letting the dangerous gasses in my house. I have always installed my own but wanted a professional this time due to the problem. I called Holt on a Monday afternoon and they came out Tuesday morning. I got a quote that I felt was very fair, with zero pressure, to do the job and I was scheduled for Wednesday morning. Installers showed up at 8:30 am, on time, and put down drop cloths from my front door all the way down to the water heater. Since the new installation required a power vent, a new pipe had to be ran across the room and out the wall. By 12:30 the new water heater was running and they cleaned up everything exceptionally. You would never know that they were ever there. The guys were very polite, knowledgeable, clean cut and did a perfect job with a lot of attention to detail. I am so glad I made the call. Most professional contractor I have used in 20 years.

    Our air conditioning system quit working last weekend. David Fitzgerald, a Holt diagnostician and repairperson, came Monday morning to see if it could be fixed. It couldn’t, but not only that, the furnace and water heater were in dire need of replacement. Obviously, that was not good news, but it wasn’t a sales job on David’s part. The water heater was installed in 1987, my husband has been holding his breath about the furnace for years, and the air conditioning unit was simply irreparably broken.David tactfully walked us away from the unrealistic and potential risky option of keeping the furnace and the ancient water heater limping along. David. called in Justine Venn. the estimator, who did his best to make this unplanned, not insignificant expense something we could live with.Two days later, Micki Charter and Pat Naderman came to do the installation of all three pieces of equipment, and Paul and I can’t heap as much praise on them as they deserve!! They worked so hard for 9-1/2 hours without so much as taking a break, not even for lunch! I offered to give them something that would only take five minutes for them to eat, but nope, they worked straight through. I couldn’t begin to count how many trips up and down the basement stairs they made, usually caring something heavy.In addition to all their hard work, they went above and beyond by rerouting an outflow to a place that would be better for the long-term maintenance of our house. Throughout it all, they were friendly, upbeat and considerate of us as we navigated this unexpected expense and disruption in our lives.If only there were a means to clone these folks and put them in every field, every vocation.

    We have been loyal customers of 72 Degrees for over twelve years. The story: We purchased a gas dryer from Costco. We completely misjudged Costcos ability to provide streamlined efficient delivery, installation, and haul away. Top Hats crew delivered a dented unit, refused to unhook the existing unit, refused to install the new, and just vanished leaving me with two unusable dryers (My old broken one and the newly purchased one.), they even left some of their things.The resolve:Astonished, with loads of laundry multiplying (we have a large family), my husband called 72 Degrees.Austin, from Holt, came over the very next morning to save the day! He arrived with the ability to expertly install the gas dryer. He explained his work, tightened up a few things, he was respectful and courteous.I am happy and grateful for Austin.The original installers did return a few days later to haul away the old unit, collecting their property in the process. As for the Costco installers, I can not blame them if they did not have they ability to install a gas dryer. However, why in the world would their company set them up for failure like that? Why put a gas appliance on their truck knowing they could/would not install it? We were frustrated and disappointed.On the bright side, we are so very happy to have an outstanding relationship with 72 Degrees/Holt, with the ability to call them in distress and have our problem solved quickly, efficiently, expertly, and have confidence in the work completed!I do not have the intention say negative things about Costco or Costco Logistics; I am explaining my experience and how Austin and the 72 Degrees/Holt team was there for me in a time of stress.My family is grateful for the relationship and trust we have in 72 Degrees!
