    Our home was flooded in June 2024 when we were gone for an about an hour. It was a nightmare experience to deal with damage. We googled and found a company to come and help with pumping water out and start damage control. We have no idea to know whom to call except to see ratings (but high ratings are not always represent the quality of service). Time pass by and found the need to get at least two quotes from reconstruction companies to complete reconstruction. Luckily we were recommended Big Blue as the approved vendor. They came to our rescue and help. They completed the unfinished work by the previous restoration guys. Their quote was competitive and the project manager Mr. Quint was very responsive to our project timing and execution. He helped us move back to home for thanksgiving, as promised. Even though it was about 6 months away from home, it is nothing like coming home and have all family members for Thanksgiving.

    Two weeks before Thanksgiving, 2019, we had a water line, in the kitchen, burst while we were away. The damage was extensive. We contacted our insurance company and were referred to Big Blue Restoration. Within 2 hours, someone was here and immediately set up fans and dehumidifiers to mitigate the water damage. After meeting with the insurance agent, it was determined that our kitchen cabinets and flooring had to be replaced. Big Blue handled all of the cabinet and flooring replacements and we decided to go ahead and upgrade and remodel our kitchen. During the kitchen renovation, we decided to remodel the exterior of the house by replacing siding, windows and doors. Big Blue was able to handle all aspects of the interior and exterior remodel. During the 3 month renovation, Zack and Mike would check in daily or would send a representative from Big Blue to check in if they were not available. All of Big Blues trades people were professional and did quality work. We have been 100% please with our remodel and we will definitely use Big Blue in the future, should we decide to do more renovation. If you are looking for personal attention and quality craftsmanship for home repairs, renovations, remodels, we highly recommend Big Blue Restoration.

    We purchased a new home and all was great. We left on a cruise and when we returned, the hardwoods were soaked and buckling. The fridge had been leaking for years and no one knew. We contacted our insurance company and they sent out Big Blue Restoration. Everything went off without a hitch with this company. We were put at ease and the job was completed to our complete satisfaction. The entire process was handled without us having to stress. The owner, Zack Davenport is a complete pleasure to work with.     I contacted Big Blue after a flood in my kitchen occurred. I had never filed an insurance claim before much less had damage repairs. From the minute I spoke with Mike I knew I was in good hands. I was not any easy client. With my work schedule, pending family obligations and a nervous dog my timeline was tight. Mike never even asked why, he simply made it happen and the result was pure perfection. Every single person he had working on my project was a master at their profession as well as being on time and courteous. The orchestration of the rebuild was seamless. The quality of work was fantastic right down to the smallest detail. They even finished ahead of schedule and kept within my budget. I was trying to prepare for what was to come and read about kitchen remodel nightmares. They obviously didnt call Mike! Thank you Mike for making life so easy.

    We had a bad situation turned good all because of Big Blue Restoration. We had a pretty major flood in our kitchen that damaged the majority of our downstairs. Big Blue not only responded quickly, but their turn key management of the entire situation was just what we needed. Their field management team, Chris and Quint, kept up a steady stream of communication so I always knew what to expect and when. The owners, Mike and Zach, made sure we were happy throughout the entire process. The results exceeded my expectations. Truly would recommend them to anyone and everyone. 10/10.

    Big Blue was the choice of my insurance company when I had a HVAC leak and ceiling collapse in my upstairs bedroom.     Zack, Quint, and Kyle are great guys to work with and are very professional. We had water damage and they helped restore our bathroom and wood floors.     Big Blue was the vendor of choice my insurance company set up when I had a washing machine leak on my second floor. They were absolutely fantastic. They managed to get someone to come out the day of the incident, after hours (at around 10:30 PM), talk me through exactly what the damages seemed to be and next steps. Was able to sleep soundly that night, and they have been very responsive to communication and the restoration process overall.     Kyle from Big Blue Restoration went above and beyond when we had a sudden leak in our upstairs bathroom that came through the downstairs ceiling. He was more than prompt in arriving to our home, and he had great communication about his ETA as well as what services he was able to perform and what other steps we would need to take.     Big Blue has been nothing short of outstanding. We had a pipe burst which resulted in water damage throughout the kitchen. I was referred to Big Blue by a coworker and I called them thinking it would be a few days to get the ball rolling. Wrong. They responded same day and started mitigation worked. They did a great job and thoroughly dried out the wet areas.Following this, Big Blue helped us select the materials for repair. They had on hand places to go to select materials, gave us run downs of pricing and availability, and kept us informed as to arrivals and when work would start.     Big Blue Restoration did my restoration after a water leak in my utility closet. They did a thorough job of checking where the water was and surrounding areas. After much effort on their part, the water damage is gone and the surrounding area is clean. Zak was so diligent in following up all work promised and delivered.     We had extensive water damage in our home due to a toilet backing up overnight. We woke up to a nightmare and couldnt believe all of the damage. We hired Big Blue Restoration Company to get our home back to feeling like a home again. Kyle came out to assess our damage and when he left we knew we wanted to move forward with the company. They gave us realistic expectations on time frames and worked well with us and our insurance company. They were respectful of our home and always kept us well informed about everything happening, even when we were out of the home while the floor work was happening. Kyle was straightforward and reassuring, Quint may have been one of the most polite guys we had in our home during this process and the owner Zach followed up with us to make sure that we were satisfied with everything. We HOPE well never need them again, but if we did find ourselves in that unfortunate situation, wed hire them again.

    The aftermath of hurricane Florence in Emerald Isle NC was something we had not experienced in the 23 years weve lived and owned on the island. As Realtors, we were dealing with our own personal rental property losses and helping 20+ clients, whose listings we were responsible for, deal with tremendous loss and frustration with finding contractors to tarp, mitigate, and repair - not to mention the issues with communicating with the insurance companies and understanding how to work with and through them toward a successful settlement. As youd expect, none of us had any experience in dealing with this magnitude of disaster. Mike Anderson and Zak Davenport walked into our real estate office a few days after the storm, indicating that they were here to help in anyway they could. We checked references, were impressed, and we put them to work right away!They worked on our personal rental properties, helping us navigate through the complicated insurance process, providing professional and timely mitigation, and then working through all aspects of putting our houses back together. No problem was too small or too large for Mike and Zak and their crews of workers; and all were extremely professional and thorough as well as experienced in their trades.It can be difficult when the need is so great, to know that you have the right people working for you, and be able to trust them to help you get through the process. Mike and Zak not only got our properties re built and ready for the coming rental season, but also have helped many of our clients through the process, some requiring complete rebuilds from the studs out. They took the worry and frustration of dealing with the insurance companies out of the equation, and helped us and our clients get equitable and timely insurance payoffs which allowed the work to proceed and be completed on time. The work was done, as they claim, for the amount that the insurance companies would pay. There were extras, of course, for requested upgrades from original materials, such as moving to a metal roof or installing better windows. But prices were reasonable and the quality of work was consistently 5 Star.We sincerely hope no one has to go through what we did, but if and when you need their services, we highly recommend Mike Anderson and Zak Davenport.

    We had a leak with our toilet in our 1/2 bath on the first floor. We called one company who came out to look at the damage and said to call them when we hear back from insurance. We called Big Blue and they came out assessed the damage and said they will work with the insurance. Quint worked with us and was very responsive. We were given a time frame and the work was completed in time with one minor thing that had to be completed a week later. Quint stayed on top of everything, answered our questions and gave us great customer service. The damage required the wood floor to be replaced, the vanity to be replaced, and painting. They did have to dry out the area before work could begin. We decided to replace the toilet at the same time so they took care of that as well. The leak is repaired and the bathroom looks great. We were very pleased with Big Blue.

    Could not reccomend Quint & crew any higher. Simply outstanding They performed a variety of tasks for us in preparation for selling our home. Very reasonable price, worked with our tight timeline and gave us some options on payment. Just all around friendly/professional folks. They did repairs on a major exterior wall, replaced countertops, damaged flooring, helped install a microwave and changed out faucets as well as fixed rotting exterior wood and fixed a really rusty gutter.     Due to faulty dishwasher installation, we came back from vacation and found buckled hardwood floors. Our insurance company used Big Blue Restoration to dry things out. We also brought them back in to do our hardwood floor restoration. (Our floors were not prefinished flooring - so EVERYTHING had to be resanded, restained and refinished.) We had never gone through anything like this before - Kyle was extremely knowledgeable, thorough and VERY patient with all of our questions and gave us tips that helped us along the way. Junior did a great job matching the stain to our stairway. Our floors look incredible and we could not be happier. I would not hesitate to use Big Blue Restoration again.

    I called late Thanksgiving night with a water leak. I had gotten most of the water up before calling so I didnt need them that night. Kyle returned my call that night and had a crew with equipment at my house early the next morning. They handled extraction, drying and carpet removal. After the drying process, Kyle worked with the insurance company on the estimate and made sure I got the most out of my policy. They came out and checked it for no charge and let me know that I could simply paint it myself with no need to hire anyone.
