    Excellent work. Braeden was awesome — very knowledgeable and willing to educate me. Always on time, communicated well, and cleaned up when they were done. They were able to avoid cutting into the drywall on my cathedral ceiling to install some new lighting, and I appreciated them taking the time to figure out how to do so! The team was great with my dogs too! :) While Zar is not the least expensive, you pay for what you get: quality. Would definitely hire them again for future work.

    Great experience with Zar! This was the first time I used them and it was for a smoke condition that set off the smoke detectors in the middle of the night, with no obvious cause. From 1st contact on the phone, thru scheduling and, most importantly, Logan’s diagnostic and troubleshooting ability, Zar came thru big time! Logan was on time, professional and knowledgeable and I felt comfortable with his explanations and actions!

    Braeden and James came out twice to fix a very complex wiring issue and were both very professional and great to work with! Braeden explained what he found and what needed to be done and kept me in the loop the whole time. And Zar helped make it as affordable as possible to get what needed to be done, done. Once all was completed, I was also given multiple quotes of other projects that may need to be done and in what priority theyd recommend. I appreciate all their help and would definitely recommend their work! Thanks again!!!

    Thank you Zar for such a great experience with our electrical repair and installation needs!! Jamey throughly explained what he would be doing and then meticulously worked on our lighting installation. When he and Brian were finished, they cleaned up the area so that you never would have known where they had been working! If you need an electrician, Zar is the company to call!!

    Our technicians Mikel and Brenden (sorry if I got the spelling wrong 🙁) were awesome. They contacted us beforehand and gave us plenty of time before they arrived and when they did arrive they were right on time.     I recommend this company to everyone! Mike was super nice and friendly, the process was reasonable and the service was prompt. We had them relocate an outlet so we could fill in the TV alcove above the fireplace. Its complicated but Mikel worked with us to come up with the best solution. Ill be using them for all my electrical needs in the future.

My only gripe is that the invoices for various jobs didnt break down line items, so it is hard to get an idea of what items fit into my budget.     Zar Electric removed 2 old ceiling fans and installed 2 new fans that we had purchased.The Technician, DJ, and his helper did a great job. He was extremely helpful and professional and personable.Julie who handled the scheduling of the service call was also fantastic. She responded quickly and was also very polite and professional.My only issue was they were expensive. To remove 2 old ceiling fans and replace them with 2 new ones was just under $800! The 2 fans with light kits and downrods only cost $660.

    Great service from Jamey and his assistant!We were lucky to get someone out to our place so quickly after having our smoke/carbon monoxide alarm go off at 3:00 AM, continuing to go off about every 45 minutes! Not only prompt, they were professional and friendly! Apparently the 4 yr old alarm (supposed to last 5-10 yrs) just wore out-the other 4 alarms appear to be ok.Your company was recommended to me and I am glad it was! Great job!

    Update: We had them replace over 50 light switches that were bad. Zar Electric did a great job. They also added an outdoor fan and a dedicated outlet on the breaker box. Totally a first rate job. Very professional. Mikel even did everything quicker than first thought. We totally recommend them.It’s good to see there are still some true professionals out there. Totally recommend them. They came out to fix a ceiling fan and a hallway light that was not working properly. They did a safety assessment of the whole house and it’s a good thing they did. They found a lot of switches that were loose and broken. It was eye-opening to actually see the switch itself was cracked and broken with wires pulling off the back. And it just wasn’t one switch. It was practically every switch in the house. This was a result from those who built the house years back.. And that safety assessment was free as part of their visit. We completely recommend them and we will be using them again in the future without a doubt. If you want real professionals, give them a call.

    MIke identified the difficult tripped breaker problem at the end of the first hour and then another hour to isolate it from the house. Problem originated when a worker pluggegd a microwavd into an outside outlet that tripped the breaker. The outlet was burned but that wasnt the main problem. It was complicated lighting citcuits in the back yard! It was left for future repair since it is not needed untii summer. New outlet covers and GFIs were installed where needed.

    JD was great. He was kind and explained things to me without making me feel stupid🤦🏼‍♀️. I apparently didn’t know how to flip an arc breaker correctly . He did the safety check and diagnostics on my whole house and did not try to upsell me anything! He did recommend some safety priorities and I will definitely call Zar back when I can afford the upgrades. Who knew the gas line needed to be bonded and actually what that even means. I am extremely glad I called them

    I was extremely happy with the response time from Zar. I called and left a message and had a callback within an hour. DJ and his assistant came to the house and put on shoe covers on when they came inside and listened to my questions. Then they completed an inspection and gave us a thorough report. They completed the agreed upon work at the agreed upon price. DJ was extremely professional and both my husband and I were extremely pleased. We will not hesitate to recommend DJ and Zar Electric and we will call if we have any additional electrical needs in the future.

    Zar installed an additional outdoor outlet and a whole house surge protector. Id called Zar to get the additional outlet. The Zar electrician, Mike, did a free household electrical inspection, which came out fine since our house is a new build. He recommended the surge protector and Im glad he did. Ive used those on all my houses since having an expensive computer fried by lightning around 15 years ago. Its cheap insurance. Mike provided several estimates to cover this work and some additional lighting installations were planning in the near future. Zars pricing isnt the lowest Ive seen, but its no worse than the other service business weve dealt with in the area. Mike was personable and professional and easy to work with. The outlet and surge protector installations were completed in about 2 hours. Both jobs have a professional look, blend with the house, and work perfectly. We will be using Zar again in the near future to help with our lighting updates.

    First time using Zar! They sent out Mr Jamey and he was awesome! My dog (a pitbull) came barking around the corner and they were immediately comfortable with each other because Jamey has a pitbull!     Zar has impressed me today and definitely won my future business. I thought I could install a smart light switch by myself — I was wrong! I needed help! Sabrina in the office was accommodating, professional, responsive and welcoming. The professionals who came to my home gave a courtesy call 20 minutes prior to their on-time arrival. DJ W. and his colleague were approachable, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, professional and respectful. They donned protective shoe coverings, which I greatly appreciate! The work performed by DJ has left me feeling completely confident about the installation. DJ informed me of other value – added services provided by Zar, such as the complementary electrical safety inspection (which I declined today due to time constraints) as well as the yearly membership which would give me a percentage discount off of future calls as well as several other valuable perks.     Outstanding service from beginning to end. After multiple contractors did not even return my calls for over a week, Zar Electric answered my first call. Julie provided friendly, excellent customer service by taking all my information and answering all my questions about the work I needed to have completed. She then scheduled my appointment for the very next morning. Technician Braeden phoned me when he was on the way, arrived on time, explained all the work involved, and answered all my questions. He expertly completed all the work in 4 hours the same day and included a full-house free inspection with options to have other safety issues addressed in the future. Once regarding my swimming pool lighting and this time regarding an Electrical receptacle needing replacement in my garage due to a bad thunderstorm. Mikel was great. My latest was the installation of 3 new ceiling fans on my porch. My technician DJ was fantastic.     Great experience, confident solutions offered, and safe results. Michael Jones with Zar Electric helped us resolve electrical circuit issues weve had with our house for years. Our basement GFCI outlets would occasionally trip and unpower the equipment important for our A/C system. It was never clear what the root cause was so I wanted a certified electrician to assess the issues. In addition, our basement requires a dehumidifier running on a separate circuit. We scheduled an appointment with Zar Electric and when Michael Jones arrived he listened to our concerns and ideas, offered a few different options with prices per option, and discussed alternative improvements. We had an additional side project that I wanted help with but wanted to assess Zar Electric before hiring someone. Michael considered the pros and cons of incorporating that side project, wiring our plug-in lights to an existing light switch, and offered options that incorporated that as well. In the end, we went with his recommendations and addressed three projects at once! He also had the foresight to introduce an alarmed GFCI outlet for our A/C condensation pump so that if we hear the alarm well know to fix the issue early. All-in-all a great experience with Michael Jones and my wife and I are very satisfied with the work and safety of the final results. Thank you Michael Jones! Well remember to ask for you again.

Zar was booked up but told me they’d get me in that day if something opened up. I got called 20 minutes later saying someone is on their way.     I had some bad experiences before, so I was not sure what to expect. Wow! Was I surprised. Brian, the man sent from ZAR Electric has been one of the most professional people to ever do some work for me. He was professional, and listened, while making suggestions on what could be a better fit with the lights he was installing. He actually sold me a better light from his van for the hallway. The work was completed in a timely manner, in a very professional procedure leaving me shock at how quick he could install lights that some electricians would need to study manuals before starting the project. I recommend ZAR Electric and Brian if you are lucky to have him.

    I had a job for Braedan and his team to add a dedicated circuit going from my first floor garage to a second floor office room as well as to fix some lights and add whole-house surge protection to my home. Braedan arrived right on time for the appointment and kindly explained everything that he was doing and the reasoning behind it all. He estimated the work would be done from 9am - 4pm, but they ended up finishing a couple of hours early. They not only performed the work perfectly, but also made sure to future-proof all of their work to make later projects more easily accessible and manageable. I definitely recommend Zar Electric with a special shoutout to Braedan for being extremely knowledgeable and kind. You wont go wrong with them!

    I found it easy to schedule Zar to do the work I required. They arrived promptly (early, actually), phoned ahead, worked quickly, left the place as they found it (wore shoe covers), and the charges were as agreed. Nothing negative to say. Seems to be a well organized, professional operation.

    Called Zar to have a broken outside electrical outlet fixed, time was an issue because I needed it fixed before Halloween in two days. Jamey came out and instead of simply fixing the one outlet took the time to look at all my outside outlets and found several issues. He methodically worked to fix all the problems and now we have a much safer set up and our dancing witch is happily moving on the front porch much to my 4 year olds delight. Highly highly recommend Zar and Jamey.
