    I called Good Guy Plumbing based on the strength of their various website ratings and reviews . . . it was my first-time experience with them. I had an issue with a slow leak that had developed from a faulty braze in copper tubing in an approximately 30 year old house. The Good Guy repairmen Mario and Jose were dispatched quickly and arrived on time. They were friendly, courteous and very professional . . . they diagnosed the location of the leak quickly and offered to fix it on-the-spot, which I didnt expect. They did an excellent repair job within a total time span of less than two hours! This included their attention to careful cleanup after their work. Ive had no problems in the three weeks following their repair on November 25, 2024. Very satisfied customer, and highly recommend Good Guy plumbing!

    Hector and Paz were incredibly kind, respectful, and easy to communicate with. They did a fantastic job relocating our stove gas line the same day they came by to give us a quote. They completed the job so quickly and perfectly-now I can have my new stove installed. Highly recommend this team and Good Guy Plumbing. Not only is the service and team awesome, you get text reminders of your appointment day and time, when the crew is on their way, and even a photo of who will be helping you out so you can ensure you’re opening your door to the right people.     Had the entire house repipe + installation of water tankless heater and water reconditioning. When I first contacted their office, Robert came in the same day. He looked inside the house and explained all the process in detail and the estimated time it will take to complete the job. His staff were professional, on time, and really good guys (no pun intended). They even installed my new sink even though it was not part of their job! Communication is also one of their strengths as they reply to my calls/questions immediately. Overall satisfied with the Good Guy Plumbing company! Will I contact them again if I have plumbing issues in the future? Definitely 💯

    Our experience with GoodGuy plumbing was excellent. Cesar and his crew were knowledgeable, efficient, skilled and very professional. This was a tricky sump pump repair. We were so pleased with every step of the job. There are 17 other Villas in our neighborhood and we plan to share our Good guy success story with all of them.

    Had the main shut off valve and other leaky valves replaced by good guy plumbing. The tech we got was Danny and he was exceptional. He showed up on time, did a great job and finished quickly. He took the time to explain his work to me and how the newer valves function vs the old ones, which I found interesting being a mechanical engineer. Prices were fair too. Recommend

    We had a leaking pipe under our home and chose Good Guy Plumbing because of the great online reviews. Communication was great and service was top-notch!     After a city street tree removal, we developed a water leak, naturally on our property side of the water meter line to the house. My wife who reads all the Yelp reviews when searching for products and services, noted that Good Guys plumbing was reliable and reasonable..This could not be more accurate! Ernesto was safe, qualified and knowledgeable and clearly laid out the options available to us. He and his cousin/assistant excavated, removed repaired and replaced the damaged portion expertly and refilled and cleaned the area nicely!Would definitely recommend to anyone who has plumbing issues!

    The best plumber in Torrance! They respond quickly, and service same day on a regular basis. They have been able to figure out issues that other plumbers couldn’t.     From the moment you call and speak to them to when they arrive at the house they make you feel comfortable.I just got the pipes replaced from the main to my service line. They absolutely came out and crushed it. Same day service the guys were professional, clean. And did a phenomenal job. I would definitely recommend them. They absolutely did everything to make sure it was affordable as well and make sure that they explained all the different options I had available. No sales pitch just gave me a great estimate and did great work.

    Good Guy Plumbing were referred to us. We had used 4-5 previous plumbers to address a sump pump problem that the previous owners of this house left us. None of the plumbers ever followed through to fully fix the problem. They all said they did, but it continued to fail. A lot of money later, we get the referral to Good Guy Plumbing and they promised to problem solve and get it up and running for us and not leave us without it all being fully operational! It’s a complicated situation as it’s a hilllside home having to pump up 40 ft to street side, but despite the problems, they committed to continue to stick around and not leave us stranded. I’m convinced that they have fixed it because of their dedication, but only rainy season will tell! Thank you so much for finally putting our sump pump problems to rest!!!

    I was referred to Robert Castelao of Good Guy Plumbing by a long time friend. Robert had is office contact me to set up an appointment. I have to say that I could not be more satisfied with Good Guy Plumbing. My appointment was very timely and the service technician, JJ was very professional. JJ assessed my problem and the options that were available to me. Once I approved the estimate, JJ was able to start and complete my project in a very professional manner! I couldnt be more satisfied. I was also able to take advantage of their no interest finance program which was a great help, especially going into the holiday season.I highly recommend Good Guy Plumbing for your plumbing needs.

    Cesar came and I could not have asked for better work. He was organized, professional and explained everything he was doing, as well as any issues along the way. He cleaned out my kitchen drain, the sewer ( and explained with the camera what those issues were) as well as flushing the tankless water heater.I was so impressed by him and hiswork ethic . I asked him to replace frozen valves on the tankless as well as replace old minimally functional main water shut off .I would definitely have him do any work at the house going forward.

    We needed a whole house change from natural gas to propane after our gas utility suddenly terminated gas service to over 130 homes. The Good Guys delivered for us in just a couple of days! We sorted out many old leaking valves and fittings, and added a new gas service line and fittings.All of it was very professionally done and we are confident the work is proper and safely completed.     Great experience! We needed day of service which proved to be no problem. Offered 2 time windows by a very professional service manager, quickly received text updates (including a pic of our technician), and links to a portal. I really appreciated the technicians attention to detail. The tech also texted with eta, they donned botties before coming into the house, and documented all their findings via pictures so they could quickly show me the problematic issues. These guys focus on customer service and information, which I really appreciate. Once our problem was diagnosed, they even showed me the issue (fish bones) of what was stopping my dishwasher from draining correctly. I was shocked when they gave me my estimate (but in a good way! It was far lower than I expected!) They will go into our speed dial of trusted contractors.

    I had a plumbing emergency that needed immediate assistance and Junior and JJ from Good Guy Plumbing came out within an hour or so of calling. Our kitchen sink was backed up and we have older plumbing, so it was tricky to snake but after two days of work and a quick hydrojet, the job was finished and our sink was no longer backed up. Both Junior, JJ, and the woman I spoke with on the phone were kind, professional, and knowledgeable about what was happening and had no issues walking me through their process and how the plumbing in the home worked. 10/10 and will be calling again should anything come up in the future.

    Ernesto was the lead on the gas leak repair we needed. Him and his team were extremely professional and so friendly.     As always, Good Guy Plumbing to the rescue! Really horrible sewage smell coming from the drains in our bathroom. Good Guy handled it quickly and now we are smell free. We were desperate to remove the smell that day and we were scheduled for the following afternoon.     I called Good Guy Plumbing with an urgent need and they helped me get quick service. JJ & Hector came out to help me with a main line blockage due to roots. These guys were fantastic and worked hard to solve a rather complicated line blockage. We ended up hydro-jetting from the roof with success and the video showed a clean line and where the roots were located (at 93 feet from the entry point). I wouldnt hesitate to call them back. I liked that they didnt try to sell me extra stuff I didnt need. Great guys and a company that I can recommend. -Kevin

    Good Guy plumbing was able to give me an appointment very quickly for a non-emergency sump pump issue. The workers came and clearly described the issue and how they would correct it and what the total cost would be.     I initially called Good Guy Plumbing to unclog my shower drain. I chose them based on their high customer satisfaction ratings and reviews. It was a good experience from the first phone call to Cesar and Oscar completing the job. I then reached out to them to replace my kitchen faucet and replace a number of stuck or frozen valves. The customer service is phenomenal and I am very impressed with their responsiveness and level of communication. Cesar and Oscar left no stone unturned in making sure I was satisfied and that my plumbing is in good order. They were very professional and thorough.     10 star service not 5! The two young plumbers that arrived or courteous and professional, explained everything to me upfront checked out the job site before they logged in their tools in my new toilet from the backseat of my car. On top of that when you call for an appointment, the customer service agents are upbeat and pleasant and very knowledgeable. I will definitely use this company again the exceeded my expectations removed and installed a new toilet in less than 1 1/2 hours. I woke up to hell this morning when I realize there was water all over my bathroom floor because the tank on my toilet cracked. After taking a good hour to clean it up, I search the net I went to four different plumbers before I found one that would service a condo and one that had availability in the afternoon.     Good Guy Plumbing is such an accurate company name. Everyone; the company owner, the office staff, and all of the field guys are easy to work, honest, and great at what they do! As a first time home owner, it was extremely stressful to learn that our house came with extensive plumbing issues. I spoke to many other companies and either their quotes did not seem to address all of our plumbing issues or they wanted to rip up the newly renovated work that was done in the house. Good Guy Plumbing came up with a hybrid solution that was much less invasive and addressed all of the problems that needed to be fixed.     10/3 update: I used these guys again to fix a leak through my outdoor hose. They fixed the issue, explained to me about aluminum/brass/copper incompatibility and how to avoid stuck threads in the future, and pricing was reasonable.No more pricey than youd think for any similar skilled labor (drain clog). They fixed the problem though, and told me the cost upfront and guaranteed the problem would be fixed before starting. There was also a discount code for first-time customers, but there was no way to use it other than physically printing it out and handing to the plumber, so I missed out on some savings.

    2-3 years back Good Guy did a whole house water supply line replacement for us. As I recall they were referred to us by our realtor, a top guy at ReMax in El Segundo. They did a nice, timely job with the least possible disruption. Last week we had a sewer line backup in a commercial building in Long Beach. An entire office space was flooded with sewage. They’ve run a camera through both lines and found an obstruction in one. It’s a tricky situation as the tenant, a birthing center, had done extensive plumbing work as part of their build out. It appears the backup is related to that work and Good Guy is providing clear evidence that will be important to determining responsibility for a costly mess.They always answer their phone, are efficient and friendly, respond quickly and immediately provide feedback.     We purchased an older home over a year ago, and with it being older, weve had to catch up on maintenance issues and improvements in the home. For all my plumbing issues and improvements, Ive called upon Good Guy plumbing for my needs. I had no idea who to call when I first ran into a problem, but based of what looked like honest reviews online, I went with Good Guy. And boy...have the been a big help in getting the plumbing stuff up to where to it needs to be.For services, Ive hit a huge swath of what they offer, so I think I have pretty good idea on the quality of work. Over the last year, Ive had them trace down water leak from an upstairs shower valve that was failing, a leaking shutoff valve under the kitchen sink that needed to be replaced, a partial replacement of corroded and temp patched copper water pipes in the crawl space, a clean out of the sewer line, a relining of the sewer line, replacing all the toilets with better toilets that dont look like the 1980s (rose colored toilets?!...plus they stunk flushing) and converting over from a failed hot water tank to a new tankless system.Ive found all their work to be professional and well done. Where needed, Ive had city inspections conducted and passed, so you know they are working to code as well. Theyve always been hard working and friendly, and even staying late to make sure things were back in usable shape, which happened when the hot water tank was replaced. (I think they were here over 10 hours working on it) Stand out employees have been Adamu and JJ, which Ive been really impressed with their work. The owner Rob has been good to talk through bigger projects, like the sewer line relining that I had done.The biggest knock you might see in reviews is of pricing, but I think with the quality of the work being done, that its well worth it. (I dont want to mess around with shoddy plumbing or having handymen do it...if anything fails, the results could be bad) So, I think its worth the piece of mind to have professionals come in, know what they are doing, and get the work done correctly.Hopefully this review helps others in search of a reliable plumber.

    Fast, helpful, and very reasonably priced. We had water leaking through our ceiling and Robert send someone right away. The plumber did a thorough exam and determined that it wasnt a leaking pipe, but rather a faulty shower pan (which is a job for a tile/bathroom specialist) and only charged $79, which is amazing considering the time and effort he put in (and it was an emergency call, so he could have charged a lot more). We were so impressed that we called them back for more repairs in other parts of the house a few days later. The work was completed fast and thoroughly, also at a very good price.

For each appointment from estimate to actual work they showed up on time and were courteous and professional in their work. Robert knew exactly what needed to be done and was very prompt in giving me a quote. Ernie and Albi were a delight to have in my home and did the work expertly and efficiently.     Robert was very responsive in coming out and doing a thorough inspection and estimate of our plumbing needs. We had a couple relatively minor repairs/installs done, as well as a moderately extensive drain pipe repair due to 50+ year old original plumbing . The team was on-time and courteous, even though they had to work around some other construction going on at the same time. Robert also came out to check on the project, and checked in via phone a couple times when the scope changed as the leak was investigated.     I liked everything about this company. They called and texted 45 minutes before the start of the service window and asked if they could come earlier. They arrived about 15 minutes later.
