Like to give Wired Electric out of Tomball TX a high five for outstanding job performance. I recently purchased a Generac 22k. technicians came out Sat for an install and showed up on time. They were prompt in taking care of business. Josh, the lead tech, was outstanding and knew his business. The other tech Zack & one more busted their butts getting things wired. Being 100° degrees outside, Josh & Zack worked in the attic for close to an hour, which had to be 125°+, pulling electrical from one side of the house to the other. My concerns and the suffering of these two hard-working individuals in the attic with such a high heat index. The technicians cleaned after themselves self leaving the job site as they arrived. Again my hats off to Wired Electrical & Generators for a great experience. I would like to reach out to the owner of the company and say Thank you for your hospitality and for taking time out of your busy schedule to meet with me and educate me about generators; the whole time, I thought I was speaking with a sales rep.

I was referred to Wired by a friend to get a whole home generator installed. The entire team from the initial call, to Sonny dropping by to explain the process and start the contract, to Carlos and the team completing the work was excellent. Everyone was professional, very knowledgeable, and courteous. Special thanks to Carlos and his team for their diligence in tackling the attic work. And I especially appreciate that Wired did not try to capitalize on the recent power outages to raise the price. The price was fair and competitive. Very happy customer.

The team at Wired Electrical Services / Generators by Wired has earned my trust.I have a 25+ year old generator that stopped working. At least two generator service companies said they couldn’t service it but provided a quote for a replacement. With no better options, I was just about resolved to invest in a new generator when Jimmy Diehl from Wired came out to give me a quote; he acknowledged that his job is to sell new units, but he agreed that replacing mine at this point just seemed premature given the symptoms and situation. Jimmy asked for the opportunity to do a little research for a repair, and he called in the technical cavalry. He said there would be no repair service fees if they can’t figure it out and get it running. No generator service firm has ever come out to me for free. The short version of the rest of the story is that Bo McCleskey from Wired arrived and got it running in about two hours.I recognize mine is a unique situation, but these guys could have easily just sold me a new unit. Many companies SAY they want what’s best for the customer, but fewer companies actually DO what’s best for the customer, especially when it means they don’t get to sell a new generator. Wired took care of me. When my generator finally does stop working for good, I’ll be going to Wired to get a new one. I trust those guys.

Having been a home owner for 25+ years I have experienced the good, the bad and the usual ugly of electrical services. This was a first, I have discovered the best in electrical services with Wired. I highly recommend wired and more so “Big Drew” the technician. Drew not only fixed the first problem that two prior electricians that our security gate company could not figure out, he also solved three other problems at the house my wife had been wanting us to have looked at for some time. Excellent service and we will continue to use Wired and Big Drew!

We had some electrical problems in the kitchen. Another electrician was unable to diagnose the problem, but Drew from Wired figured it out in less than 5 minutes. We elected to replace the entire main breaker panel. Drew (a.k.a. “Big Drew”) was on time, courteous and very professional. I would highly recommend Wired based on this service.

Wired Electrical Services just completed a major repair on our Generac 22kw generator. The CSR on the phone proved to be most helpful in explaining the manner in which the problem would be addressed. The Wired Electrical technician, Bo, arrived at the time forecasted and called prior to arrival. Additionally, he clearly explained every step of the repair process and was MOST PATIENT with the numerous questions as the repair was underway.We have and will continue to recommend Wired Electrical Services to our Family and acquaintances.

We have had Wired Electric install our Generac Whole House Natural Gas generator almost 11 years ago. They did a great job and left the back yard clean. During the May 16 tornado storm that came through Spring Branch we lost power right away. The generator ran for 6 days 24/7. The house was running as if nothing had happened. The next event was hurricane Beryl. It happened on a Monday. We had regular power up until the following Saturday when a two car wreck knocked down a power pole. The Generac generator started up and ran flawlessly for 3 days. When you buy a generator and have it installed by Wired Electrical they tell you up front the cost, the size you need and how long it should take. You cant put a price tag on peace of mind.

I called Wired because my breaker kept tripping and my AC was not working. I spoke with Ana Gutierrez and she sent me up with an appointment so a technician could come out to see what was going on. They came the same day replaced the breaker that was tripping. And I had my AC working right away!!! Houston heat is no joke. I highly recommend themThey were fast and efficient and having kids at home during this heat is not fun at all. Thank you, Wired!!

I purchased a generator system that powers my entire , (3300 sf - with pool) to power everything in case of power loss. The installation was great even though they were extremely busy. Was it expensive? I though so, but after the storm in Cypress last Thursday....not so very expensive after all. My husband depends on a breathing machine and was my reasoning for the generator. However, my daughter and sister lost power and I was able to help them with freezer items and a place to stay in comfort. Those things are truly priceless to me. I also use the monthly service for the generator - very worth it. Last Thursday, we were driving home when the storm hit, we got home safely and the garage opened right up and we had full power, then I heard the generator. I was really impressed by that, power was restored today and I would have never known it had I not been outside to here the generator turn off. It was all so seamless. If you are contemplating a generator, check out Wired. Many kudos to them.Becky

I contracted Wired Electric to install my Generac standby Generator and start to finish these guys did a terrific job! The initial visit from the Salesman who was excellent in explaining the solutions they offered and the process from ground breaking to power-on. The next visit was with a Site Manager to lay out the location of the generator and the gas line they needed to install. Throughout the entire process the office folks updated me every step of the way and on installation day, the two Technicians who spent the day performing the installation were incredibly professional, stopping to answer all my questions and explain any details I asked about. I think when you finally have a service company go above and beyond your expectations…. It is worth spending a few minutes to recommend them to your neighbors. These folks are in my opinion “Best in Class”Thank You!

I have a Generac whole house generator purchased and installed by Wired in November 2023. The two technicians that came out did a wonderful job…. They were very professional particularly Nick the lead tech. He did a great job keeping me informed of their progress and in the end spent some time giving me a demo and answering all of my questionsFast forward to today 2/21/24 had a few questions and a small concern I called the office and the support lady was great and had a tech at my house in less than a couple hours. In my opinion that is what I consider a Best in Class company! Oh…. And It was Nick again as impressive as ever and I just wanted to share with my neighbors my great experience

Update on 1/11 - The owner reached out to me in regards to the issues we experienced with a potential resolution. He was understanding and wanted to make things right.As of right now Im leaving one star to see if they resolve our issue. The technician came out for a low oil pressure warning and replaced a faulty switch. Thereafter, I go and check on the generator because I did not hear anything begin on the Sunday 12 pm scheduled cycle when I was at home that weekend. The same oil pressure warning was on and I made another appointment. Same technician comes out and says its the motherboard that needs to be replaced. I say ok again to the tune of $1150 between both repairs. That same week on Sunday the generator kicks on for approximately 5 seconds and shuts down with the same oil message. Technician comes out for the 3rd time and now says we need a whole new generator....great! As you can imagine Im jumping for joy at that point....Tech and parts manager (whom I had to track down after the fact) both say well refund the invoices to whole. I make 4 phone calls with promises of a call back to no avail. Come to find out the accounts person was out of the office for at least a week who handles cutting checks. Apparently nobody at the front desk knew she was out or didnt care because they couldnt relay that message on to a customer.With that said, refund check arrives today and its for only the 2 parts. They didnt make good on their promise for both invoices and shorted me about $475.My wife and I are in the market for a new generator and Im not sure what to think of this company. One off? Way business is normally ran? Communication issues within?Well see if they step up and refund the balance we were told would happen.More to come.

I have been using Wired ES since 2006 or so. I have had contractors that use their electricians and had some experience to others, but I know the owners stand behind the work of their technicians, most of their technicians have a high degree of capability and know-how and it is either one and done or they make it right. Wired got the job done quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I will definitely use them again. After a first contractor was unable to get the job done quickly, that contractor recommended Wired. Wired scheduled an appointment within days, inspected, then provided an estimate within hours and was able to begin and complete that long-needed job with the same day as inspecting. Now we sleep well at night.

We had a whole house gas generator, which we bought, installed by Wired ES in Houston. We were looking for a no hassle, one stop, one price shop who would do both the installation and the permits for gas and electricity and provide all the labor and the materials (batteries etc.) and be responsible for the initial start up. Wired ES fit the bill and though not the cheapest, appeared to have a firm understanding and a responsibility to deliver in this very complex installation. Gary Pence estimate was on target and one price for everything. The installation took about 9 days with breaks and waiting for inspections - from start to finish. The actual gas and electrical hookup took over 10-12 hours of work spread over 2 days by 2 technicians: our power was off for about 4-5 hours total. Wired ES staff was polite and competent and kept us informed about when they were coming, they knew what to do and they did it well and completely including ensuring all gas pilots were relit. Our enquiries at the main office were always answered by the reception (Jocelyn) completely and in most cases Tommy, the scheduling manager, would contact us with resolution of questions and comments we had. The generator was installed, we were shown how to operate it and were told to expect a call for service soon - excellent. The only issue we ran into was a difference of opinion between the electrical inspector (City of Houston) and Wired ES about the wiring protocols for the tie in to the house. The inspector is deemed right and Wired ES was prompt in redoing the wiring to satisfy and pass the electrical inspection. I have zero complaints about this complicated installation though it added about 2-3 days to the process. Everyone did their function and the generator works. Finally: would I use Wired ES again and would I recommend them to my friends - yes on both counts. I give them 4.5 stars

Thanks to the recent outage events in Houston over the past several years, we finally made it a mission to obtain excellent backup power and Issac of Wired rose to the occasion and provided my home with the solution we needed. Sonny in the sales department arrived as scheduled and walked my home to determine our best options, answered all my questions thoughtfully and kindly, and helped me pick the best path forward. He even helped me select the best generator possible for my house. Then when the time came for the job to begin, Issac came to my place and installed over 50’ of natural gas piping, an interlock transfer switch for the breaker box, and a soft start AC almost entirely on his own. This was not an easy job but he solved every problem as they arose and I am sincerely grateful for his hard work and can-do attitude throughout the process. When all the infrastructure setup work was done and the generator was finally delivered, Issac came back to my place and helped me with a step by step walkthrough of all the things I need to do to power the natural gas generator, ready the house for backup power, and run all our critical equipment and devices entirely on natural gas power. He even helped tune the generator to make sure it was performing optimally once in use. And we walked the house together while running on backup power to make sure everything was good to go. I am very grateful for Issac’s care and attention to this job and I thank both him and Sonny for helping us to finally have reliable backup power as we prepare for any possible future outage events in Houston Texas. Highly recommended.

The entire time he maintained an informative conversation with me and provided impressive product knowledge while completing a Generac installation that 2 previous electrical contractors could not.In my experience customers rarely receive the kind of service excellence provided by this outstanding service technician. I just had Wired Electrical Services repair my electrical wiring. I am extremely happy with the work that Carlos did. I called for a quote and they said they could get someone out to look at the problem the same day and 45 minutes later he was at my house working. On the phone, Ben told me what the problem was probably going to be and sure enough, when Carlos came out to do the repair, it was exactly correct! He gave me a fair quote, found a way to do the job economically and had me a formal quote 1 hour later!They scheduled a person in to fit into my schedule perfectly when the technician came, he was right on time, very professional and very, very thorough. He made sure everything was done just right. He didnt cut corners and gave me exactly what I asked for.I will use their services in the future and will recommend them to all that need this sort of service.

I always get an estimate from the electrician on how long he thinks the work will take and the cost involved before he starts the work. Once we agree on this estimate the end results are always good. They will work with you to stay in your budget. I will always use them for my electrical work.

They installed a generator. I would have given them a 5 star rating, but when we had a problem that I believe was related to the generator installation they charged me to come and try to find the problem without notifying me that they were charging. All of the upstairs power went off and then on several times. Because they connected all power to the generator we thought that is the only thing that could cause this problem so they sent the generator guy and he said nothing with the generator so they sent the electrician and he said nothing wrong with the electricity but he said he tightened everything and ended up walking around and waiting then charged us for 2 hours of his time and they charged us by the hour. We didn’t know they were going to charge us. So after his discount we still had to pay $235.99.Surprisingly we have not had the short since then, but we still feel that it was related to their connecting everything to the generator. There should not have been a charge.

Colby the Electrician with Wired Electrical Services made extensive wiring corrections that were required to eliminate numerous wiring errors made by another Generac Home Emergency Generator Supplier we contracted with to install a Generac Residential Standby Generator.And we contracted with Wired Electrical Service to provide PM Service on our Generac Generator, and Michael has been our service representative and performs his work extremely well, and also very responsive. From our experience, we highly recommend Wired Electrical Service for Home Emergency Generator installations and associated PM Maintenance Service.PS: Our Generac Standby Generator has been inservice and responsive to power outages ever since Wired Electrical Service make the wiring corrections and tested the operation of the Unit under full power load. And the PM services they have provide are FIRST CLASS and completed in accordance with the full PM Requirements and Schedules specified by Generac for our model Standby Generator (Required to Maintain the Full Generac Warranty).

Today I just had Wired Electrical services install a interlock on my panel so I could connect a generator to my homes electrical system. They also installed a plug to connect the generator, a 110 outlet, and a ground rod. The VP, Ben, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The electrician who came to the house, Anthony, was very knowledgeable, considerate, and conscientious about his work.
