I had lost power in half the house due to a worn-out ancient fire hazard of a load center with melty breakers. Mr. Electric called me 20 seconds after I submitted my request on HomeAdvisor! They sent an electrician, Nezir, within 2 hours, and he was able to install a new up-to-code load center at 9am the following morning. Power restored in 4 hours! I cannot say enough about Nezir, his expertise and professionalism, his friendless, and his ample patience with nosy know-it-all DIYers like myself. Well done. Customer for life. I needed to have a bathroom exhaust fan replaced in my home after it stopped working. So I called Mr. Electric to get an estimate. They sent someone out to my house the next day to give me a free quote. Mason, the electrician showed up on time and ready to go to work. He explained what he needed to do to fix it and how long it would take. He was true to his word and did an excellent job. He suggested I get a whole home surge protector installed in my circuit breaker box since my 20 year old home didn’t come with one and it was now a code requirement. I agreed to have him install it and I’m very happy with the result. Mason was extremely helpful and friendly. He showed his professionalism through the entire process. I highly recommend Mr. Electric of Northwest Houston!

The electrician was very detailed in the needs for my home after a home security check. He itemized things so I could select what I am able to do at this time. Next week they are installing a surge protector due to a faulty one provided by another company years ago.The ceiling fans were installed beautifully so much I may get one more for another room! I called an electricians website for some routine work. They referred me to Mr. Electric. The technician, Doug, came within a few hours to our home (which was built in 2016) to inspect the issues. Doug was great. He knew everything. The next day, he replaced our five smoke and two smoke/CO detectors with long-lasting ones (up to 10 years, no periodic battery replacement), including the one that no ordinary human being could reach (see photo). He replaced our doorbell system (chime box and doorbell button (see photo); not the transformer, which he located in the attic and checked and determined was still good 120V). He installed a surge protector and redid the breaker box (see photo). He even fixed a broken outlet including the cover on the exterior wall of the house that had been installed by the builder too close to the AC disconnect, and repositioned the AC disconnect (see photo). He was also a wealth of information on how everything worked. Doug was thorough, efficient, and courteous. Worth every penny.

This is our second time using this companys service. The scheduling was easy. The electricians Bobby and Bert came the very next day. They conducted a very thorough review of all the interior/exterior electrical work and gave a reasonable estimate. They fixed the problems and also brought the house up to a current code. Basically we experienced some issue with one our circuits whoever Mr. Fierro was very professional and advices us to maintenance and upgrades need it in our Main Panel distribution and HVAC unit in order to be in compliances with the Safety of our home his advices enabled us to be in compliance with newer electrical codes and to save us money for future electrical (voltage fluctuations or loss of external power) he break down the issues and pricing before start the repairs and upgrades. Thank to his work our home is in compliances and under safe mode for any potential electrical issues. Highly recommended.

I am new home owner and had previous electrical work done by another contractor. I didnt know at the time but it was a really bad job. This visit was a blessing to not only me but my house and family. Mr. Electric sent out Francisco to install 1 front door light and 3 outdoor floodlights. The company informed me that he would arrive earlier than scheduled which was a good surprise. He was very professional and courteous. After installing the first light without any problems he moved on to the second and oh boy that is where the problems begin. The old breaker for the circuit to all the oldside lights were totally wrong. So instead of 120v going thru the line, it was 250v. This is why my old flood lights failed in the first place and needed replacing. Franciso went above and beyond to find this out. He was all up in my attic tracing the wires back to the fuse box and figured it out in no time. When he replaced the old flood lights the metal bracket was all burnt and fried black. This was a fire hazard waiting to happen. If it wasnt for Franciscos hard work I would have never found out. I want to thank Mr. Electric for sending him to my house. If you want peace of mind and quality work done right at a reasonable price do not hesitate to call Mr. Electric. Definitely my new go to electricians from now on. Thank you Francicso so much.

Our electrician with Mr Electric Of NorthWest Houston is absolutely outstanding! His name is Nezir Aliko. He has many years of experience and is able to efficiently diagnose the problems , articulate to you in what the problem is in readily understandable terms, and what the possible solutions are. We have had him out twice at our home in Katy to do some significant electrical work. We have spent about $5000 for electrical work with him representing with Mr Electric including running 3 new higher 20 amp power lines for heavier, garage workloads, two additional outdoor high intensity security lights, installing 2 sets of upgrades from 2 to 4 GFIC Receptacles, tracing down GFIC outdoor receptacle issues, running additional powerline to an outdoor fountain with additional outside receptacle , changing out indoor fan on and off switches to variable speed ones, and getting the existing outdoor landscaping lights to work. Very friendly, prompt, most capable electrical service . I’m very satisfied with the service when highly recommend him.

Josh Rogan did an outstanding job. Probably the most knowledgeable electrician Ive met. Initially I called for help with an outlet that had melted due to some faulty wiring. Josh knocked that out, but also did an additional inspection of my panel and found that the 60A breaker put in by Abacus (never using them again) was not correct for my 50A rated A/C condenser unit. On further inspection he found the wire was charred. Probably saved my A/C units and us from a fire. Added a missing electrode for the house ground (something else Abacus missed) and surge protectors for my two A/C units. Price was reasonable and they warranty their work & components. Will definitely be using them again and highly recommend.

Travis was excellent. The first 15 seconds he looked at the box he said a circuit breaker was the physically wrong size and would give me trouble. It did not sit properly on the bus. That circuit breaker went to an air conditioner that has had three start capacitors, a full unit replacement, and then the replacement blew a compressor.It would be more than a coincidence if the wrong circuit breaker was not related to all the problems with the air conditioner unit.The wrong circuit breaker was a cheap landlord special that was put in when my house was a rental.When I told Travis about all the problems that were on that AC circuit breaker he replied, Theres a reason for doing things the right way.

Charlie at Mr. Electric was our electrician. First, I called the company to say I needed an electrician. I thought I would have to wait for days, but to my pleasant surprise, she said Charlie would be at my home shortly! He looked at our breaker and then looked around and suggested we put surge protector on our breaker box so those summer power surges protect all of our appliances, etc.This was a wonderful idea and no one else had ever suggested it before. He went the extra mile and looked at the back of our microwave and told me the circuit board is broken and we need another microwave. Cathy took my call in the middle of a Friday night (1:30am), and she set me up with a technician for first thing in the morning. William arrived on time in the designated arrival window, and he evaluated the issue as well as diagnosed an extremely outdated panel. He took the time to inform me of the hazardous panel situation; however, initially I was just looking to get the refrigerator and stove power issues resolved. William didn’t try to pressure me into any sales pitch, and was even good with me wanting a second quote. He asked if I had experienced any crackling and arcing the night before when I tried replacing the GFCI outlet, and I did. However, the panel was blocking a more lethal situation. When he was simply turning a breaker off/on, there were sparks shooting behind the now exposed panel. At that moment, I was concerned for him and the safety of my family. William not only recommended what needed to be done for a panel replacement: he brought that vision to fruition in matter of hours. My home is undoubtedly safer. I have peace of mind. My wife has peace of mind. I am grateful for William’s time and diligent work.

I selected Mr. Electric based on reviews. The job was to locate and remove a short in the circuit. William from Mr. Electric came to help. He was efficient and courteous. He listened to my description of the problem patiently. Based on his inspection of the electrical panel, he proposed a repair plus maintenance plan with a cost breakdown. I selected to only tackle the most urgent part. In the dark and hot attic, William thoroughly tested all the components by following the circuit. Finally he was able to determine the root cause of the problem, and performed the appropriate repair. The job turned out to be a bit more involved than initially expected, but William was patient and professional throughout the process.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Luis and have him install ceiling fans in my home. He came in and asked me what my concerns were. After I explained what I needed, he addresses my concerns. came up with a plan and gave me a quote. I asked him when would he be available to complete the work and he said right now and got to work. He finished the job in a few hours to my satisfaction. Mr. Luis represented your company well. After speaking with him for a few minutes I knew I was going to go with your company. I actually told Luis, my electrician, that I loved him! You see, I bought two gigantic ceiling fans in a attempt to mount them, I was over my head because I had a triplex switch assembly that I was trying to wire the fans to. In my uneducated attempt at an electrical install, I fried the remote control receiver in the brand new fan. I had to call the fan company and they sent me a new one, and I decided not to try this anymore and hired professionals! Luis came to my home, he made me laugh, we talked while he was working, I was allowed to ask him questions and I got direct answers that helped me understand a little bit more of what was wrong and why it happened. These are the kind of things that money cannot buy. This guy was so on his game that I followed him around like a lost puppy. I was able to learn from him and I am a professional mechanic. It speaks volumes for the quality of the person who came to my home, and the professionalism of the company and the man who was in my home. I will recommend Mr. Electric to anybody who wants a really good company and professional service! Please understand this though…. electricians are not cheap, but you get what you pay for! I will never argue that point again. I am thrilled with the results of this man’s work and diligence.

All their staff were very knowledgeable and professional. From the time we got them involved to the time they completed the installation, everything was done in a timely manner.
