Last minute hero!!! Never realized how much you miss hot water until you don’t have it. Don, answered the call without going through any service. He was willing to work me into his schedule for a hot water heater replacement on same day. He arrived as scheduled and completed the installation of a water heater in under two hours and removed the old one. All this going down tight stairwell without a scratch. Excellent job, quick service, and most of all, beat quotes from 6 other plumbing companies. That is SERVICE. Highly recommend!!!

Great service. Found PHI Plumbing and Don via Google searching around locally for a licensed plumber. My house is about 20 years old and needed to replace my 10-year-old water heater which had sprung a leak. I wanted someone local, knowledgeable, and experienced.Don was great to work with. We spoke over the phone and gave me a general ballpark idea of what it was going to cost me to replace it. After doing the bid dance with a couple of other local companies including going to Lowes to see what their installer would charge, I decided to go with Don / PHI as they were to most competitive and straightforward with me. The other guys kept providing expensive options and up sales.He was able to get me in immediately and had the material ready to go in his work van. I had a blown overflow valve, as well as an internal leak from the valve where I turn my sprinkler water on. I called PHI Plumbing this morning and Don said he could stop by in the afternoon. By chance, an earlier time became available and Don offered to come by then. He very quickly assessed both issues and quoted me a fair price for his work and expertise. He was able to begin work immediately using parts he had in his well stocked work van. He is very much a master of his craft, and I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently he completed the work. He also took the time to inspect all work for leaks. I am pleased with the work that was done.10/10 WILL call again the next time I need a reliable pipefitter!

We are so blessed to find such a wonder plumber nearby in Thornton. Not having a regular plumber I searched Google. PHI had a number of good reviews, so I thought we’d give them a call. Don is friendly, knowledgeable, and just plain awesome! He did a magnificent job for us.It all started late Friday night; we found a pinhole leak spraying from the copper pipe in the basement. Don couldn’t make it until Sunday (Easter), but he did tell us what to do to keep the leak to a minimum until his arrival. We needed him to fix our kitchen drain, it was backing up. (We had a different plumber here back in October to fix this same issue.) While Don was here, we asked if he would install a kitchen faucet we had and look at the bathroom sink.We thought his price was extremely reasonable, and would recommend him to all and we’re passing out his number.Update: We had another leak in a different copper pipe later that evening, so it goes without saying I called Don to the rescue. He replaced two pipes and we are good to go.Thanks to Don we are leak-free.

Service in Jan 2022 - Called to get a shower valve fixed. Was able to get me in timely, was professional and good value. Thankfully, while working on my shower, we discovered my old water heater was done. Had a new water heater installed by him later that afternoon. In addition, he help me see where the subfloor was wet, pulled up carpeting and getting fans going, and provided contacts to help with proper floor fans and reassembly. Definitely would recommend.

Similar to other reviews, I have great things to say about PHI and Don. Our pressure vacuum breaker for our sprinkler system formed a crack sometime over the winter and needed to be replaced. I called PHI the morning I discovered the leak, and Don was able to come by that afternoon. He was super nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Well call him again the next time we have plumbing problems!7/16/2021 Update: Four years later, and I still call Don whenever we have plumbing problems. We have had a variety of pinhole leaks in our copper pipes, a pinched mainline at the foundation, and most recently, he replaced a spigot in our backyard where I forgot to take the hose off before the first freeze of the previous winter. Its been great to get to know him over the years, and well call him again any time we find water where it shouldnt be. Very easy to recommend him to others and he continues to be a well earned 5/5.

Don came out, inspected what needed to be completed but also noticed that my water heater should still be under warranty. Sure enough after contacting the manufacturer, it was! Because of Don spotting that, he was able to return my old water heater and pick up a brand new replacement for a fraction of the price which ended up saving me hundreds of dollars.Don is extremely knowledgable, fast working, and efficient. I had a busted outdoor faucet that was leaking into my basement and could have potentially caused serious problems. Donald came out within 25 minutes of me calling him; he was extremely professional, explained to me what he was going to do and that it would be a fairly simple task to complete. Within 2 hours he had me set up with a new valve and fixed my leak! His pricing was fair and competitive to the other plumbing service I spoke with about my leak. November 12th Update for a new problem. My bathroom faucet needed to be replaced because the faucets were cheap and leaking. Because I had to shut my water off I had to call another company that capped the pipe but we’re going to charge me almost a grand to replace. Of course I wasn’t going to pay that much. I remembered that Don had fixed my toilet so I called to get an estimate on replacing the faucets. The estimate was so much more reasonable so of course I had Don replace both the faucets. I purchased both faucets and Don replaced both and maybe took an hour to do. I recommend Don as he is fair and honest and many plumbers are not these days. I will continue to use PHI for my plumbing needs. Don came out at short notice on a Sunday. He came at his estimated time of 15-20 minutes. My toilet was running and the top of the side valve the screw rusted. He fully replaced the side valve and made adjustments so the toilet stopped running. Don also installed a shut off valve. Maybe took Don an hour if that. Now everything is working great. The prices was very reasonable and I don’t think i was charged more for a Sunday. I will fully recommend Don as he is efficient and reasonable. Don thank you.

I definitely recommend his services.I used Don’s services a few months back and just didn’t have time to write a review.I just bought a townhouse that needed a lot of work. I used Don because he was highly rated on Yelp. I had him come out to give me some estimates on how much the repairs would be, if some of the repairs were even needed and also how much it would cost for some advice if I decided to wait on the repair or do it myself. He came out, told me his prices and was very patient while I took him through the number of different repairs. He fixed a few of the problems right on the spot and gave me estimates for the rest.He was able to save us a lot of money by not ripping into the wall to see if we had a leak. We couldn’t see any visible water damage. But we had a dripping type sound almost every time we took a shower and thought it might be a leak. He helped us troubleshoot it and recreate the problem by simply changing the water temperature. If we just used the cold water, the weird drip like sound never happened. It just happened when we turned it to hot and then it went away. Then we went into the garage where the sewer runs and the sound was much louder, but different. It sounded more like creaking/expanding pipes then it did like a leak. Then it became very apparent that is was not a leak. We had another company who was going to charge us $150 to scope the pipes.Don also helped me fix my bathroom. I couldn’t take a shower or bath because of a lot of leaks that I couldn’t figure out how to repair. I didn’t have the money to remodel it like I planned. I had other contractors give me an estimate on just getting it to work and they said I was going to have to rip out the wall to replace the fixtures and leaks. But, Don was actually able to fix them and even replace them with very nice brushed nickel fixtures without tearing into the wall. He even helped me recaulk my entire large tub with some quarter round to cover up some old bad repairs and replace my sink.I won’t go into the other repairs and advice. They were all great.Don was very easy to work with, his work is professional because he pays attention to the details, he listened, he was sincere and honest, he gave me great advice and ideas, and saved me a lot of money. He even recommended some awesome restaurants since I am new to the area.I’ve had bad experiences with other contractors that were highly rated. So, I was very happy that Don lived up to his high ratings.I definitely recommend his services.

Holy cow! I will keep Donald from Phi Plumbing Service on speed dial in my phone until the end of time. Not even kidding.Apparently our house really likes having water issues. Water issues have started to become the bane of my existence. One after another, after another. My biggest complaint with them is I am certain it will cost an arm and a leg to replace and repair anything. So its really disheartening when any water issue comes up. Boy was I surprised today.This time we had a problem with our hose bib in the front of our house. It had cracked inside the house and it flooded our basement.Truth be told, before meeting Donald from PHI Plumbing Service I didnt even know what to call the hose bib. When I called him I said something like, yeah theres a hook up thing outside that is leaking into our basement. My lack of terminology didnt confuse him at all. We set up our appointment (which was completely easy) and he arrived on time with a new hose pipe in hand. He knew exactly what needed to be replaced and what was happening before I even showed him. This guy knows his stuff!He told me upfront what it would cost and I was floored that I didnt feel like I was getting over charged. The quote he gave me came with the price of the replacement part. I was so pleased and didnt feel taken advantage of by a plumber for the first time in my life.I was so pleased with him. I will use him again and give all his information to all of my friends.

I called PHI Plumbing to fix numerous issues:Needed flange replacements on the drains of two toilets that were not secure to the floor.We also had a quick shut off valve going to the sprinklers that was damaged and would not fully close and need to be replaced. I went to shut off the water from my homes shut off valve and when I turned it to close the valve itself started leaking. I am very thankful that Don P. with PHI Plumbing was here performing the work because he quickly replaced this valve and the one heading to the sprinklers.Lastly, and probably the biggest issue was a compressed drain line in the wall that had been under force form the expansion and contraction of the clay soil. This caused it to make a loud audible repeating noise. He has been a mater plumber for 25 years and quickly identified the problem and installed and flex-able gasket in-line and stopped the noise.He even gave me a discount on the service. I would highly recommend PHI Plumbing, Inc. for any and all plumbing needs.

I recently discovered PHI plumbing after seeing Dons van in my neighborhood. I have now had he come to my house twice to fix a total of 4 plumbing issues: a problem with a shower head, a problem with a kitchen faucet sprayer, the need for a new turn off valve to the house (from the street), and a new turn off valve to my outdoor sprinkler system). Don fixed all 4 issues. I have had some of the big plumbers who advertise in TV come out in the past and the charges are very high. And the all change a lot. Dons fees are much more reasonable.

Some weeks ago our pipes started banging in the walls and after our daughter had a bath one day the water leaked into the ceiling of the 1/2 bath below and started coming through the vent on the ceiling.I looked up plumbing issues on line and did all the things they said to do when pipes start banging in the walls...and nothing worked.Went to the Water department and asked if it was a water pressure issue from them and was told by the guy that works our area that many people in our area had been having similar problems and it was the water pressure gauges that were installed in the houses some 15 years ago when they were built.I read all the reviews on Yelp and Google and the one that tipped me over was the negative review...it was so opposite of all the other reviews and the fact that he responded the way he did told me that he had integrity...and I was not wrong.So anyhow I called Don and we went over the issue and he told me that he was going to be a little more expensive because he used a good quality water pressure gauge after a couple of failed ones previously and he wanted to make sure we had a good quality product.He really wasnt any more money to have him out, it really was inline with others using cheaper parts.Anyhow at the moment we rent the house...and will be buying in a few months, so I advised using him to the landlord.He came in and made sure before he actually replaced the part that it was in fact the problem!He checked out the leak...and wouldnt you know it...no leak...LOL...not idea what it was, but he tightened up the drain and overflow...made sure everything else was working right...we tried and tried to make it leak...Nothing!!So we have not had any other issues...but we asked him about a number of things I had concerns about and he patiently answered my questions, and I never felt that we were being an inconvenience.Anyhow, we are planning a kitchen renovation and bathroom renovations when we buy the house next year, so we will be having him back to do the work then.I should also say that both my husband and have worked in the construction industry and have a good knowledge of plumbing, and at not time did Don ever try to stretch the truth or try and do more then was needed.(he did not know we actually had some knowledge, although we are not experts by any means...hence the questions, but we both understand plumbing to a large degree so we were impressed with his knowledge.)I highly recommend him...hes clean, quick and patient and honest. Very reasonable pricing as well.

One of the local heavily advertised plumbing companies had come out and wanted to bust up the basement floor and replace a pipe that was clogged. $3500. I knew most of that was for the grunt labor to remove and replace the concrete, so I busted it out myself. During that process I saw a way to put in a drain wash out for $15 and did that work. I still wanted a plumber to replace the pipe in the floor to accomidate an addition I plan. I called PHI and Don came over to quote the job. He was able to see a quicker and more effient way of giving me what I needed. He also saw that some of the previous work (before I bought the house) was causing low flow to the bathrooms. My wife had bought a gas stove so I had him add the gas line to the kitchen and add a de-scaler to the house. All done in a day and thousands less than the guys on TV. PHI is my go to plumber.

Called Phi Plumbing and was the best intuition decision Ive made. Kitchen sink keeps backing up due to us breaking not only 1 but 2 bits down the drain causing an obstruction blockage, had several other companies come out but problem keep occuring. Phi Plumbing were able to fix the issue by hammerdrilling the concrete and cutting about 2 feet of cast-iron pipe, flushing it out and replacing it.
