    We just moved to Washington last year from California and have never needed a Heat Pump and didnā€™t have Air Conditioning. It was something we were told that we should get. Our new home however had many challenges to make it work. Dave and his team stepped right in and made it happen. From the beginning, Dave gave us his professional advice and walked us over what we needed to do. He even came out a second time before we made our decision on who to work with. Making sure we had everything figured out. His team showed up on time and totally prepared. Zachary and the team from Tapps showed totally professionalism and made the install work as planned.     Great service and amazing communication! We had a weird situation that happened at 4pm, I immediately called Tapps Electric and the next morning they had a tech, Aiden O, at our door right on time. He quickly figured out the issue and even helped with a few other unrelated problems. They were very competitively priced from what Iā€™ve researched. I will call them again in the near future when we do a few more electrical upgrades.

    So far our experience with taps electric has been fantastic from the gal I spoke to on the phone to scheduling our estimator to come out. She was very personable. Her voice sounded like she had a smile on her face.     Highly recommend this company. Great service. They came out for a free estimate and fixed a kitchen light switch same day. The total cost was really reasonable (other companies would have charged this as just an estimate fee alone). The electrician Larenzo was amazing ā€” quick, professional and incredibly courteous. Will definitely use this company again.

    I cant say enough good things about Joe, the electrician sent out by Tapps Electric. From the moment he arrived until he left, he was exceptional. We had renovations done two years ago, and the electrical company used by the design firm botched some wiring in our guest washroom, which left the fan unusable. We had never been able to use the bathroom fan until Joe assessed the wiring problem, explained everything, and worked his magic. His attention to detail is impeccable! Once he installed a new fan and fixed our electrical issues, he thoroughly cleaned up his work area. We will definitely be asking him back for future work. Thank you, Joe, for your amazing skills!

    Tapps was excellent. Incredibly knowledgeable, easy to contact, quick to respond, and quick to schedule. Joe Chapman was my tech that came out, and he absolutely crushed it. He was able to run a line to a fireplace with minimal drywall holes, informed me of my options for getting the line into the fireplace bay, and was able to successfully run the line without the need for me to do more demo. He also chatted with me about my circuit box and gave me a health update on it without me even asking. 10/10 would recommend.

    First of all, wonderful first impression with the text reminders for the service and then getting a text when my technician was on his way. This was a two hour window and he showed up within the first half an hour. The last company I used had me wait all day, then said they would show up at 8pm.When Robert showed up, he thoroughly explained our system and showed us what we need to do to properly maintain it for long use. We recently purchased this home so it was all still new to us. He even gave us HEPA filter recommendations because I have very bad allergies. Would 100% recommend Tapps Electric and ask for Robert Garcia.

    Robert Garcia smoothly investigated a kitchen HVAC issue across two units involving a trip to the rooftop to send an endoscope down checking for interruptions in the ducting. No breaks found but he did see the downstairs unitā€™s airflow was weaker than usual. Happy to have a window into the root cause and Iā€™ll update this after we call them back for a fix. Scheduling was also easier than three other HVAC companies in the greater Seattle area.

    Working with David was great. He was knowledgeable and came up with some awesome solutions to replacing the under cabinet lights. He was a diligent and did an excellent job. This is the third time he has come out personally to take care of some projects around our home, to include installing a new thermostat and troubleshooting a potentially bad outlet.     Update: we have since decided to go with Tapps Electric for our electrical work and we are so happy! The original work was for a car charger installation. They did such an excellent job that we went ahead and used them to upgrade our generator circuit from 30a to 50a ! They are honest, on time friendly and have great follow up! Great team @ Tapps Electric!Chase from Tapps Electric came out to talk with us about an EV charger installation. Chase was on time, friendly and extremely knowledgeable and Honest. Chase did not try to upsell us on unnecessary work as we had other businesss attempt when quoting this same job.We have not made a decision as of now but I will update this review when we do decide.     Pleasant experience from start to finish. The estimate person Jake was a master of his trade, able to chat the whole time and dial in the bid to a tee in no time. Came in at a lower price too. No surprises during the install because Jake took care with the details. Awesome job!Chase and Sam were my installers and both arrived a bit early ensuring a sharp 8 am start time. Both of them strive for perfection in all they do, making sure to take more time to get it right. Things get messy during these jobs, and the guys kept the vacuum going throughout the installation and took as long as it took to clean up after the job was done.     Chase from Tapps and his apprentice did at excellent job at our home. We requested the removal of a single light fixture in our dining room and installed 4 recessed lights. Chase was quick and cleaned up the worksite nicely. Chase worked with our existing infrastructure, and called me in to review the light placements before he began cutting. We have use Tapps Electric for several projects in the past 2 years. We are always pleased with their team members and the service they provide.     A huge thank-you to Tapps electric, and their technician Aiden for saving us a huge amount of money ! Yesterday I received an estimate I was told was critical and an emergency. The other company told us we were in serious danger of an imminent house fire. I was quoted $24,000, and told the work needed to be done immediately. We decided to get a second opinion , but quickly. Aiden from Tapps electric came out and did a thorough job of investigating where the problems were. To make a long story short, I needed one outlet changed out. To say the least, Tapps, electric and Aiden saved us $23,900. Our family is grateful, and will be loyal customers of Tapps electric whenever we need electric work done.

    First off, Im happy with the overall work from these folks and the pricing visibility and honesty they provide. But. What a company does when things dont go right is often more important telling than when everything goes right.Larenzo came out to troubleshoot a wire run as part of a larger job done by Tapps in February. There was no fuss by the company, just immediately scheduled a tech to come out and check their work. He was kind, curious, clean, and most of all, looked for the cause and addressed anything that could be the issue. He even made a plan for next steps if the problem keeps occurring. Im very impressed with Larenzo and though I hope he doesnt have to come out again for this, Im hoping he can be on my next work call.Im impressed both with the company standing by their product and the techs individual know how and customer service (Tapps. Please let Larenzo know!)

    Awesome experience with Jake Banker from Tapps Electric Heating and Air. I called to get an estimate on upgrading some panels and hooking up a generator as backup power to the house and Tapps sent out Jake the next morning and Jake was awesome, very knowledgeable and took his time to walk me through the entire process and answered all of my questions.     When we wanted to update the wiring in our 1940s home, Tapps Electric in Sumner gave us the quickest response and the most thorough evaluation. Everyone from the office staff to the electricians were attentive and communicative. When there was some confusion over the job we had discussed versus the job order the electricians were given, Jake the estimator came back to go over our project expectations again until we were satisfied.The confusion over the job order caused a change to the projected timeline, but they scheduled the remaining time within the month, and it was the same four guys (Idan, Chase, Juan, and Marcus) the whole time. Together they spent hours in the crawlspace and attic tracing old lines and measuring access points to minimize damage, fitting a new breaker box that was much bigger than the old one, installing our chosen fixtures, and vacuuming up plaster dust every afternoon. Twice they discovered potentially dangerous issues and stayed late to correct them the same day.We expected a certain amount of damage to existing walls, and they kept it to a minimumā€“just a few old holes where old boxes were removed, and a few new ones in the hallway ceiling where lines had to run between floors. The worst damage was to some already buckling plaster, which we expected.Overall we are satisfied with Tapps Electric. Thanks!

    Two built in space heaters. One was a 120v item on a 240v line, and had burned out. He replaced it with the correct heater. The regulator was bigger than the original and he did a tidy job carving out the door trim to fit. Second space heater was burning dust. He vacuumed it out and instructed me on maintenance. He also installed outlet and switch for garbage disposal. He made sure everything was up to code, tested the installation, and cleared away all debris.
