I cannot say enough positive things about Enviroshield. We have been dealing with a tank removal for over a year and they have been exemplary in sticking with us while we navigated some rough patches. Every single person from Dani Donni Dan Victor Dave Steve and the entire team was the definition of professional. We had the tank pulled 2 days ago and it went flawlessly. It was a tricky extraction, but they all assured me from the very beginning “we’ve got this”. The left the place as spotless as they found it. I am extremely grateful for helping me out and being my eyes and ears as I sit in Boston. They went to battle for me and I will be forever grateful. I cannot recommend them enough.

Very happy with the clarity of their proposal and their professional workmanship. They saved us from a miserable first contractor and closed out the remediation without issues. I couldnt be more pleased with the detail, and care displayed by the entire staff of this company. They allowed a horrible find of an underground oil tank and then the realization that it had to be removed, in the middle of a sale, after no knowledge of its existence for the past 20 years.The individual that was assigned to me was phenomenal. She displayed expertise and patience that served to educate someone who had absolutely no familiarity with oil tanks, least of all their abandonment process. She was committed to walking me through each and every step, informing me of what the team on site was doing as the processes moved forward.I am very grateful that I found EnviroShield and recommend them, without reservation.

For selling the family home, soil samples were obtained to determine if there was still residual oil in the soil when the underground oil tank was removed in 2008. Unfortunately, analysis of the soil samples indicated residual oil was present where the concentration levels exceeded Connecticut standards. In order to complete the sale of the family home, soil remediation (cleanup) had to be performed. The company that obtained the soil samples was hired to complete the soil remediation. On Sep 12, 2024, the company commenced the soil remediation. However, after the company commenced the soil remediation, the company started to provide excuses for not showing up or working a minimal amount of time at the family house. Based on the closing of the sale of the family house occurring on Sep 27, 2024, I was concerned the company would not complete the soil remediation by the scheduled closing and jeopardize the sale of the family home. On Sep 17, 2024, I contacted Enviroshield about completing the soil remediation. When I informed Enviroshield the closing was scheduled for Sep 27, 2024, they stated they would rearrange their work schedule to start the soil remediation on Sep 19, 2024 to support the closing. Additionally, Enviroshield informed me the company conducting the soil remediation was not licensed based on review of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Web site (https://portal.ct.gov/-/media/deep/waste_management_and_disposal/transporters/deep-spill-cleanup-contractor-list.pdf). (Note: Prior to starting the work, my brother asked the owner of the company are you licensed to complete soil remediation and he stated “yes”). The company was fired due to not being licensed. On Sep 19, 2024, Enviroshield commenced the soil remediation. The crew that came to perform the soil remediation was punctual, professional and very experienced. The crew kept my brother informed of every step they were accomplishing during the soil remediation. The soil remediation was completed on Sep 19, 2024. Enviroshield provided a very fast turnaround of the required documents to prove proper soil remediation and as a result we were able to close on schedule.DUE TO THEIR PROFESSIONALISM AND HARD WORK, ENVIROSHIELD PREVENTED THE LOSS OF THE SALE OF THE FAMILY HOME. We recently hired Enviroshield to remove an abandoned underground oil storage tank from our property. The crew that came to remove the tank carefully maneuvered their digging equipment to a spot where they would not have to drive the equipment across our lawn and sidewalk since they did not want to damage the sidewalk. The tank was situated between two retaining walls, and we had been worried about damage or collapse of these walls. They did a wonderful job of carefully removing the tank with no harm to the walls whatsoever, removed the tank and filled in the digging site thoroughly. They were so professional and courteous. Everyone we spoke with in the office was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Enviroshield to anyone who needs this type of work done.

There is nothing positive about learning you have a leaking underground oil tank unless you hire Enviroshield to handle it. From first contact they are responsive, and on site within days. Estimates are prompt and the documents to sign are included. Those are simply permissions; the unimaginable amount of regulatory bureaucracy and paperwork are handled completely by them!The head of our project was Richard Lewis. He reached out to explain the process. He answered the questions I had left after anticipating most of them. Hes personable and reassuring, as well as knowing the issues from top to bottom (so to speak!).I give Enviroshield my highest recommendation. They are who you need if you find yourself facing this daunting and stressful situation.

Phenomenal experience.{well, as much as you can when the old oil tank you’ve been ignoring for 15 years corrodes through and leaks across your basement}They came early the next day to pump out what remained in the tank—on the Friday of a holiday weekend—and came back the next week to take the tank out, gave us advice about how to get the oil soaked up (absorb-it found at Tractor Supply) and the smell out (odors away, had to get that on Amazon), invoiced us, friendly, super efficient and reasonably priced.We had been avoiding this job because everybody told us it was going to be difficult and expensive and it really was neither. If we had known about Enviroshield before we could’ve avoided an awful lot of oily, smelly, stuff-wrecking trouble.

I had a great experience with a 3 man team who came to remove an oil tank from my basement. They pumped out any residual oil, cut the tank in three parts and brought it out of the house through the garage. They were thorough, respectful of the property and cleaned up after the job. All 3 (Danee, Jessie and Collier) had a positive attitude about their job, the company they worked for and genuinely considerate to me, the client. I highly recommend Enviroshield!

I just want to say that Dannie and Jessie did a 5 star white glove service job at our home! I was nervous about the removal of this tank and they were absolutely AMAZING!
