Im very pleased with the service provided since my first phone call. On Christmas Eve, Evan came to clear the drain and took a lot of roots out of it. He returned today and lowered a camera to see the condition of the drain line. He explained the issue and the approx. cost. Ill be meeting with another person to talk about repair/replacement and go from there. So far very satisfied with the service and professionalism.

These guys were amazing. I pre-dug a ditch to replace a section of the pipe. They told me that in another 10 years I would have to replace the other section. They educated me on how the benefits of replacing the whole line with the trenches pull be well worth the investment. They perform the job flawlessly and put in a clean out and a popper valve. Their work was absolutely amazing, they did the work quickly and affordable with optional payment plans. I would not use anyone else and I highly recommend everybody to go to them. Thank you.

We have a house for the early 1900s. I had a great experience with Discount Plumbing. I also had a great experience with Junior and his knowledge and responsiveness to my plumbing issue. There was not a quick fix available so Junior went through the process of showing me exactly what the issue was. It turned out to be an issue that required a new main sewer line from the house. We had an emergency plumbing issue that required a plumber come to my home on a Sunday. Discount Plumbing was contacted and the plumber arrived and was able to clear our sewer blockage. The following day they came out with a camera and John Salada showed up with a technician. They quickly diagnosed my line had an issue that was the responsibility of the city. This scoping of my line was done free of charge. They suggested a clean out which was reasonable in cost to avoid our sewer backing up again. The following day it was installed. John kept in constant contact with me keeping me updated. His customer service was the best I’ve seen in a long time. Thank you John and discount plumbing.

Called Discount Plumbing because of the name...the person taking my call was polite, quick and helpful.Feliciano and his colleague arrived they were so good at breaking everything down as far as the process, the cost and then kept me updated through the process as it took some time.When they finished, they were again, VERY professional, walked me through what they did and cleaned up everything as if they were never there.They were AMAZING!!!

Last night we had a backed up plumbing incident at a friends home in Modesto.She called discount 24-hour plumbing and within 1 hour Carlos arrived to assess and fix the problem. Carlos was absolutely superb he diagnosed the problem got out the big snake cleared the drain made sure that all sinks were draining went back out ran the snake through again and then assisted us a bit in the cleanup he was thoroughly professional, nicely attired, articulate and personable. Now our go-to plumber for any issue I can’t fix myself, including replacing sink shutoff valves that were leaking and replacing an old water heater. They are usually available quickly and come right on time.

This is an over due review. Discount plumbing has always given us exceptional service. We had an odor around our house for months. Finally called Discount plumbing to take a look. Found out we had a small leak for quite sometime. Kyle came quickly knew exactly who to call for cleanup before he could repair the damaged pipe. Cleanup was able to be done and Kyle went above and beyond repairing our leak the same day, saying he didn’t want us to go the whole weekend without being able to use our kitchen and restroom. These guys were fantastic. Water heater took a dive on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. They came out within 3 hours of calling, said we could fix or replace but that it’s on its last leg. I believed them because we were told that 2 years ago. Of course when something that expensive goes out you’re never prepared. They gave me numerous coupons and in the end, gave me another $100 off. The installation took only 4 hours and I couldn’t be happier with this company, these two guys knowledge and professionalism, and my beautiful new American Standard water heater. Thanks Guys! I received a text letting me know that he was on his way. Once he arrived, I explained the main issue plus a couple more concerns, he looked into and decided to replace the flushing mechanism, plus the other two concerns I had. He took the time needed and did not rush. He also had a coupon for me which I appreciated. In the past, I have had plumbers that were condescending and a little rude. This gentlemen plumber was very nice and listened to me without making me uncomfortable for asking questions or what I think about issue. Excellent service.

From the time my phone call was answered to the end of when my plumbing issue had been resolved, the service I received was outstanding.On Dec 5th I had another plumbing company come out and 42 days later I had the same problem all over again.When Ken took the cover off my clean out valve, it looked like it had never been cleaned. Less than an hour, Ken had it completely cleaned with no residue at all.The other guy was at my house for about 2.5 hours. Our issue was we had hot water in the bathroom sink but no hot water in the shower. Feliciano Vasquez was the plumber that came out from Discount Plumbing. He was a pleasure to work with. He was professional, knowledgeable explained what he was going to check first as he was pretty sure he knew what the issue was and he was right. Turns out it was the valve in the hot water knob, he had it out and replaced in no time. He also checked our water heater in the attic space, made sure it was functioning properly. The service was even less expensive than I thought it would be, so that was a bonus. And he left us with a savings flyer in case we want to have some other plumbing items/areas serviced. What a great experience! When you DIY to unclog a sewer line and get the snake stuck…these guys came through and not only got it out, unclog the line but found roots that penetrated the sewer line and cleared those out too! For a Saturday evening after hours service the pricing was extremely reasonable and no extra hidden charges. I also really appreciated that dispatch put me in touch with their plumber to discuss if the situation was correctable before making the trip and having to charge me.

Lonnie came out and checked my sewer lines and informed me that they were fine...no replacement is needed. Sometimes when you are a female with no male presence in the house, people take advantage of you. I believe that is what may have happened with the plumber that told me my lines needed to be replaced. I really appreciated Lonnies honesty. He also let me know what to look for so I would know when my lines needed to be replaced which was very helpful. If I do start having plumbing problems, I will definitely be phoning Discount Plumnbing.

Quoted me a price (which again, was 9x lower than the competitor) I said LETS DO IT! (I’ve researched what all was needed and the costs associated with doing it myself, and Lonnie’s price was MORE than fair!)He went out to his van; got the pex line and fittings and went back in the attic and finish the job like a professional!Throughout the entire process Lonnie kept me informed of what he was doing (turning water off to make sure nothing got wet in the attic, isolating the spigot line, turning water back on and checking for leaks). After discussion it was determined we couldn’t do tankless. But when we got the price quote, it was a shell shock. Probably could have gotten cheaper elsewhere. Since we didn’t have time to get other quotes we did it anyway. Only good thing is we did get a larger water heater for same price since they didn’t have a 40 gallon in stock. They also replaced ally the piping. But our paper work doesn’t reflect the change in size either. Hope it doesn’t matter if we need service. Jimmie was polite and professional. Took time to explain the new water heater and how to maintain.

The company sent out Danny Avila, a licensed plumber who knew pretty much everything about residential plumbing that a plumber could know. He was not only professional, respectful, polite and knowledgeable, he was also very patient and understanding while explaining everything that he was doing and why it was necessary.(Our problem was a blockage in the sewer main out in the street which is the citys responsibility, so he was unable to remove the blockage, but... he located our clean out near the house which several other plumbers throughout the last 5 years could not find, and he ran a camera through the sewer pipe way out beyond our property into the street to discover the problem. This is AFTER removing a toilet and putting a snake through the line and then replacing the toilet. And he cleaned up everything!He had to dig out a few areas of our front yard to find the clean-out and that took at least an hour. (I decided to fill that all back in myself)He had me call the City of Modesto and within 15 minutes they were here marking off where they would come back next week to install a City side clean-out. EXACTLY WHERE DANNY SAID THEY WOULD! Literally within maybe 3 inches!!Danny is a marvel. He spent several hours identifying everything that was wrong and best of all it cost us less than $300!!!As a retired tile contractor I can tell you that this company is LUCKY to have Danny working with them, and customers would be lucky to have him show up to their service call.Bottom line: I will NEVER have to find another plumber again, and if Danny goes to another company, I will follow him. I will not trust any other plumber with my plumbing needs again. And thats a major relief. This guy is HONEST and personable.Last note: after our showers backed up (I am renovating one of them as a tile setter, myself, having removed everything down to the subfloor, the toilet water had all backed up under the house!!! Yes, toilet paper and EVERYTHING for the past week! (Continuous use for 3 adults)We first called Roto-Rooter Water Restoration and TWO is their plumbers came out 1) they SAID that they couldnt find the clean-out. 2) they quoted me $600 to run the camera that Danny used. 3) they quoted $2800 to clean and disinfect under the house (Danny said to wait until it dries and then just go under there and scrape it all into a bag, go to Home Depot and buy a disinfecting Lyme, I think - Ill ask again after I clean it up FOR FREE - and that saves us $2800!!! 4) Roto Rooter quoted over $1400 to install a clean-out when we already had one!5) I already mentioned that it all cost us under $300, RIGHT?!So... Danny saved us THOUSANDS of dollars, headaches and time. His advice is what homeowners only dream of hearing!!Wouldnt YOU trust this level of service???I dont know WHO the negative reviewers had as a plumber that they didnt agree with, but Id definitely bet it wasnt Danny.I never met Danny before this incident. I never even heard of Discount Plumbing before this call. And he spent several HOURS dealing with our problem, working efficiently and HONESTLY.If I could give Danny 10 stars I would in a heart beat! Again, we will never trust anyone else but Danny as long as hes still a working plumber in our area. As for Discount Plumbing? They should be so grateful that he has decided to work for them and he speaks highly of the company so I trust them as well. But its all because of this outstanding plumber.If you wanna make only one plumbing call for anything, call Discount Plumbing and request Danny as your serviceman. You WONT be disappointed. I know people and hes GOOD people.Enough said. You can take my advice or you can roll the dice. We all know what Im talking about... Dont get scammed by the big boys, because theres more of a chance that youll overpay for your service needs. What I liked most about this situation (besides saving thousands and ending up with quality work for a few hundred) is that Danny reminds me of my own work ethics and integrity. That is what matters!

Nicolas S. , came out to my house. Absolute zero contact. My mom is 82 years old and with the covid 19 virus on the news everyday, I try real hard to keep her safe.Nicolas took care of the issue that I reported. Very knowledgeable, and polite. I am completely convinced, Nicolas and Discount Plumbing are the solution.

Quick response on a Sunday to Lodi with an over the phone estimate and appointment time. Jimmie P came out and cleared our blockage quickly. Would recommend and use their services again without hesitation.
