Prairie Insulation in Springfield

These folks quoted a job for my home (in October, 2023) that involved removing the loose fiberglass insulation from the top of the walls in our crawlspace and then replacing that gap with foam insulation. I couldnt have the work done for several months due to other work being done that had to come first in the crawlspace. When I called them to schedule, they honored their original quote price, arrived on time at our house, and cleaned up behind themselves. Were very pleased with their work and their price was reasonable.

I called them on a Wed, they came out the very next day and were extremely helpful in explaining all the details of insulating my addition. They provided a quote that afternoon with lots of options, which I accepted. They came out the next Tues and Wed and did an outstanding, clean job. Its a week later since I called them and everything is done! Highly recommend!

We have used Prairie Insulation for three separate projects and have been incredibly satisfied with them each time. The initial home visit/quotes were easily scheduled and very informative. I would highly recommend Prairie Insulation. JT was able to work with my schedule to accommodated me with a quick response and fit me into his schedule. The employees were punctual, and they took the time to protect our home with plastic on the floor where their hose came in from the outside. Their work was professional from beginning to end. They were conscientious on the clean up. There was hardly any dust at all in our home from the insulation blown into our attic When they left you couldnt even tell they had been here. We were very satisfied with this company.

My wife and I are very happy to have worked with J.T. Wyzard and Prairie Insulation on insulation improvements in our attic. The price is fair and the installers did a great job. We are so glad to finally have R49 attic insulation during this extreme heat wave we are experiencing!

First off, these people are just ... good old fashioned polite and respectful? I called about a fireplace installation and the desk girl took my number and one of the guys called me back within the hour. They wernt able to help me for insurance reasons (Id purchased it at Lowes and they cant install units they dont support - which is apparently common with every other similar business in town), but he took the time to explain it all, was so helpful, and even suggested that If I couldnt find a place to install it, throw it on Craigs List and they could get me a similar unit and have it installed no problem. He was just ... helpful? Im still going to exhaust all my resources with having it installed, but Im going to keep that in mind and might end up utilizing them. A sign of an excellent business is how they treat people even when theyre NOT their customer, and they treat everyone just fantastically.

I had a very courteous interaction with the company. They were referred to me by a local builder who uses them exclusively. They came out to inspect the problem. They didnt try to sell a product that they couldnt guarantee. I cant speak to their quality, but their professionalism was on point.

A great vein for the arts in central Illinois! The Hoogland houses many different arts related groups and also produces Its own community theater productions on top of hosting many touring performances each year!

Prairie Insulation guys did a wonderful job. From Jeremy coming out to give us an estimate to his GREAT crew coming out to insulate our attic. The whole team was super nice and very professional. We already can tell a Big difference in our house being cooler. We highly recommend these guys.

Everything went as planned from the estimate to the installation. We had both our Crawl sprayed with foam on the walls and sills, new poly put onto the floors, the attic insulated and each vent in the bathrooms vented through the roof. The crews were here on time and did a great job across the board. I highly recommend them.

Jt is super professional with very reasonable pricing. He made sure his shoes didnt mess our floor, was very accommodating to our schedule, and worked around our dogs! Hard to find not only professionals in this industry but a crew to come in & get the job done right the first time! If you have any insulation needs please call in, ask for Jt and give him a shot.
