I called GMD without knowing anything about them. I was shopping around and called at least three electricians to install a ceiling fan. I was impressed by how efficient, professional and personable the GMD electricians were. They were also very clean workers and respected my property. A few years later, I called them again to install three more fans. I again had a very positive experience with not only the electricians but the office manager who is a co-owner. She was equally responsive, attentive and professional. I appreciate that its a family business and they do everything to make things right. Hiring electricians is not an inexpensive proposition but to have great work done is wonderful peace of mind and a necessary expense. Thank you, GMD. I wish you much continued success.

I would recommend GMD Electric in a heartbeat. I hired them to replace an out of date electrical panel. Their bid was a great value,and the workers were people that I felt comfortable with in my home. At one point near the end of the day, the replacement panel offered some unexpected challenges. Suddenly there were 5 team members total to help finish the job. Awesome attitudes, incredible team work, and they didnt even mention charging me extra. I feel lucky I called them. I highly recommend you give yourself the same opportunity and peace of mind.

Called GMD to fix some minor home electrical issues (switches, plugs) and to install a tricky motion detector. They promptly sent out Luke who was very skilled, friendly and took great care with his tools/ladder while in my home. Luke had all the replacement parts I needed in his well stocked truck. I also appreciated his patients in explaining what exactly he was doing/why.I 100% recommend this company to others.

I called for an appointment on Monday morning fully expecting it to be at least a week out but GMD was able to come to my house early the next morning. The job was completed just a hair over 24 hours after my initial phone call! Work was done professionally and they made no mess at all! I will recommend GMD Electric to anyone I know looking for an electrician!

I initially was introduced to GMD through my realtor to replace the electric panel in my former home. The guys working there were so accommodating and nice to work with that I called them once I realized we needed work done at our new home. Since then, theyve installed several large light fixtures, a wonderfully quiet fan with a light in a bathroom, and completed several more minor tasks. Im hiring them next to install an electric vehicle charger as well as wire an outside sump pump and lighting correctly. The gentlemen who work at GMD are respectful, friendly, really pleasant to work around as well as very innovative, asking me if I wanted a more quiet fan in the bathroom than usual, which of course I did and didnt even know they existed! GMD is now my absolute GO-TO electrical contracting company!

Wow! GMD Electric really hit it out of the park for us! A real human being answered my phone call and understood what I was asking. Paul called me back to set up a service call. Andrew and Eric were here at the scheduled time the next morning. They reviewed and diagnosed what was needed quickly and professionally. They were friendly and helpful and communicated both with Comcast and EWEB to effect the repairs. Then they checked back twice more to follow up progress. Their billing process is AMAZING! I got an e-mail with the invoice the next day and was able to pay it on-line. It took me less than 5 minutes to do!! And their fee was more than fair, especially for the amount of service and care we received. Thank you guys!! We will be calling GMD Electric for any future repairs and/or upgrades!!

I recently had the opportunity to have GMD Electric help me increase the electricity potential for a computer lab I run. Josh and his crew are polite, efficient, and masters of their craft. GMD went over and above to meet my wishes. The finished work was very clean, and better then i imagined. On a separate occasion Josh came out to my commercial property late and saved the property from a serious fire hazard due to a loose connection. I could smell the burning plastic from the wire, but couldnt pinpoint exactly where it was coming from. He resolved the issue quickly outside of normal working hours. I rarely write reviews, but i felt this business deserves kudos.

I called not remembering who I got a quote from! The receptionist looked up my information and found everything.They happened to have a time slot for the very next day! GMD Electric was very helpful, punctual, (even called to let me know they were running late) they guys who came out and did the project we’re fast but efficient! Will definitely be using them again for future electrical work!

I called other electrical companies to do a certain job. They declined it. Apparently to lazy. I got referred to GMD electric. Paul Dancer came out had it repaired in a hour. Hes a wonderful guy. Great to be around. Hes very professional. I will never call anyone else except him. Take care Paul. I dont often write reviews, but its also rare that I regard any company as highly as I do GMD Electric. I hired Josh and his team to troubleshoot a few non-working outlets and light switches in my new home.The full story is that I was initially a bit disappointed when the time to complete my job landed on the higher end of their estimate. Besides being within range, however, it was obvious that the guys were about as efficient and diligent as possible given the circumstances (I have an older house with lots of patchwork/additions, etc.). In the end, the real kicker was when Josh stepped up to make right some issues that may or may not have been his responsibility in the first place.There are plenty of folks doing good work in Eugene. But with business booming, Ive experienced first-hand the risk to take the money and run at the first hint of a dissatisfied customer. With Josh and his team, on the other hand, you can rest assured that youll receive top-notch work matched only by the personal care and dignity with which they conduct business.I cant recommend them highly enough. Support them if you can.

I am so impressed with this company! Currently selling my home and needed to have two small jobs repaired quickly after the house inspection was done, so we could close on time. I called another electrical company prior to calling GMD. They charged for drive Time and several additional permit fees etc. The quote was $350.00. I decided to call GMD because they were close to my house (thinking all companies charge for drive time, which they dont)! When I called GMD they got me in the next morning! They brought two people and finished the job in 30 min. I was only charged the $75 one hour minimum job fee. No drive time, no apprentice charge , just the $75 charge. They were here on time, with very friendly and personable staff. I needed a receipt immediately to turn into my buyers to show them the work was completed. The office personnel sent me a receipt immediately that I was able to give them. The whole staff here was great! I will definitely be using GMD for any electrical work I have in the future!

Those guys are one of the best businesses I’ve had the pleasure of hiring. They saved my behind twice this week. Once to install an outlet for my garbage disposal so I could finish installing it before the dishwasher got installed. Then again to install a dedicated outlet for a new microwave taking place of our vent fan. They were very friendly, seemed very knowledgeable, had reasonable prices, and perhaps most impressive of all, they answered the phone and came quickly to do the work. The second time I called them they sent two guys over the same afternoon! I couldn’t be more impressed. Highly recommend calling them for your electrical needs.
