Very satisfied with the service and product. All work started and completed on schedule. All on site installers were professional. Office staff responsive to inquiries. We received estimates from four companies. We selected this company for the great feedback we received while obtaining estimates. We also liked that the contract did not contain a mandatory arbitration clause. Total time from signing the contract to complete installation was about 5-6 months. Just do your homework by educating yourself on whole house generator systems which is what we did and that is why we used this company.

A very pleasant experience getting our new generator. Michael was our Power Consultant and he was extremely patient and answered all of our questions. Buying a generator can cause some sleepless nights, but not for us. Good communication is very important on a job like this and everyone at Generator Power Systems seems to understand this. Becky and Shannon kept us informed of everything that was to happen and they answered the phone when I called. Our set up and tutorial was done by James and he did a great job. He took his time, double checked everything and made sure we were happy before he left. I highly recommended this company if you’re in the market for a full home generator. Weve been using Generator Power Systems for our generator maintenance ever since we purchased our Kohler generator from them about 10 years ago.Over the years, they have always given us great service. The techs arrive on time and do a thorough testing. Weve never had any issues with our generator because we keep it maintained by GPS and Kohler is the best generator in the field, hands down. By the way, I have the yearly maintenance contract and have always scheduled my service calls. Owners of any generator need to keep their generator maintain just like they do for their cars.

The Technicians showed up today to install the Generator and electrical portion. They were on time, very respectful and professional. They certainly know their craft. Still have to finish the gas meter connection and startup but great so far. The only issue was schedule and that was due to the incredible backlog after this seasons storm. That is not their fault and I take responsibility for that for waiting so long to buy one.

Well didnt expect this. Storm blew through, power went out, generator started up. All good until shore power was restored and Generator would not go off. Technician (John) came out and found transfer switch had actually caught fire, melted a circuit and a circuit board. John got us back on shore power, but now we must replace transfer switch. John with Generator Power Systems did a great job. Generator is now non-functional, so stay tuned to see how GPS does to get our generator running again as we live in a subdivision where power goes out frequently. Stay tuned!

However, the main reasons I used Generator Power Systems Company was because of their extensive experience in understanding/managing the electrical work and intensive knowledge of generators. The Master Electrician was far more knowledgeable than the competition and the installation crew was very experienced - this was extremely important for me. Also, after considerable research in understanding various whole house generators, the Kohler was far superior to others - do the research!

When we built our new home 3 1/2 years ago, we had Generator Power Systems install a Kohler generator for us. They did a superior installation job, so we signed a routine maintenance contract with them, and were so glad we did. Our neighborhood experiences fairly frequent power outages, and the generator has perfomed flawlessly.This morning, Matthew Rich, one of GPSs repair technicians, stopped by at our request and addressed what we thought was a problem with our generator running needlessly. Matthew was friendly and professional, and within minutes discovered that the problem was with Centerpoint, and that our generator was doing exactly what it was supposed to be doing. He explained what hed done to diagnose the issue and ran a few more diagnostic checks just to be sure things were exactly right. He was terrific and emblematic of GPSs commitment to quality of both product and service. Id recommend them to anyone!!
