    Mr. Bernie to the rescue! - I needed two of my toilets unclogged (got to love kids) so I called Cogar Plumbing and they were available right away! From the time I called, to the time service was completed, it was only 3 hours before I had my toilets working like new, that even includes their driving time!     The work done in our home was properly done as you would expect. I was very pleased with how well Mr Cogar runs his business. Phone calls are answered or returned and he keeps his appointments. It was a pleasure doing business with him and would highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.

    We needed a water heater replacement in early 2016, so I searched for a local plumber and found Cogar Plumbing. Bernie responded the same day to give us an estimate. Ultimately Bernie replaced the heater, as well as taking care of a few other smaller issues.This past June the heater started acting up. I called Bernie, and he responded to see what the problem was. Bernie spent several days working with the RUUD tech support, and replaced a few different parts until the problem was fixed.I really appreciated the time and effort Bernie put in to fixing the problem. The parts were under warranty, but the labor, being outside a year, wasnt. Bernie put in several gratis hours fixing the problem. His main concern was making sure the problem was fixed and we were satisfied.I will continue to use Cogar Plumbing for all our plumbing needs. Great customer service!

    I am not used to such quick service where I live. I was selling a house in Spotsylvania and needed a few leaks fixed. Bernie went out of his way to do the work quickly and kept in close contact to make sure we were satisfied. I wish there were a plumber like Cogar Plumbing in my area in Iowa. His price was super reasonable for all he did for us. I was impressed and that is not easy to do. Thank you, Bernie, for your quick and professional service, and at a great price.

    Second time calling Cogar Plumbing and the service was excellent. Service provided was final installation of new kitchen sink (strainers, drain, p-trap) which also needed pipe cleaning. The mechanic (Dan) called prior to arrival to confirm and explained everything very clearly once on site. Work was done quickly with full explanation of what was done.

    I highly recommend Cogar Plumbing. I have had bad experiences with many plumbers in the past, but Cogar Plumbing runs their business in a very professional manner. Scheduling service was easy and they always showed up and completed work in a timely manner. Additionally, they were very patient in answering all of my questions regarding care of the UV water filtration system in which they installed. They were good in cleaning up after they were done.

    Had Bernie here to install a new hose bib a few years ago. Made such a good impression that when our water main valve started leaking this morning I immediately called him. Called me back within minutes, was here within hours, replaced the cracked plastic valve with a good metal one, and cleaned up the water. Great price too.     Cogar plumbing is amazing! I had a septic back up and called numerous other places and they all said it would be greater than a week before they could come out. I kept digging on google and came across this company and called them up. Bernie was able to come out the next day and he was able to fix the backup. He answered all my questions and the price was the most reasonable. I will definitely call them in the future for any plumbing or septic issues. Super friendly and professional.

    After experiencing four previous water leaks due to,old pipes, we hired Cogar Plumbing to replace all pipes throughout our house. Bernie Cogar responded very quickly to give us an estimate and as soon as we called him to accept his estimate he was able to get us on his schedule.     Bernie was very responsive and knowledgable about what needed done at my recently purchased house. There was a small laundry list of things that needed repaired and we also had him install a new bathroom vanity that required pipes to be moved and rearranged. He applied his craftsmanship skills to also cut the baseboard and make sure the vanity fit flush against the wall. Everything looks great and was done in a very timely manner. Great service, would use again!

    Cogar is my new go-to plumbing company. I had an urgent need for help when I suddenly had no water one morning. They came right out and searched until they discovered the cause (leak in the crawl space). They fixed it promptly and at a very fair rate.     Bernie is the man! Full disclosure: I had another plumber come out to look at my sewer pump before I had heard of Cogar Plumbing. The other plumber quoted about $3,000 in all new equipment and construction just to fix a bad switch on my sewer pump. Bernie came out and repaired everything for $68......... So yeah, he was a life saver. A real pleasant guy to talk with as well. 100% recommended.

    I was staying at a rental home on Lake Anna with a large group of people over the weekend. The main sewer line to the septic was backed up by something from a previous tenant and we woke up to the basement flooding. The owner of the property contacted Cogar Plumbing and they were out almost immediately. The plumber, Bernie, was very polite and professional. Last weekend, we had 5 family members staying with us for the weekend, and after showers, the basement ceiling began leaking... a lot!     These guys are the best! When Harvest Market, a local natural grocery store, had a sudden and major plumbing issue, these guys responded almost instantly! They arrived ready with every piece of equipment they needed to get it done, and fixed the issue within hours! I was so impressed with their skills, I called when my septic backed up at home. I called at 1 in the afternoon, and they were here (30 miles away from their home turf) by 3. Their pricing is awesome, their skills are impressive and their responsiveness is unbeatable when youre dealing with plumbing issues! Highly recommend!!!

    In response to my bothers recommendation, I called Cogar Plumbing late on a Friday evening regarding an emergency water leak at my home. Bernie answered my emergency call for help and he assisted by explaining what I need to do to prevent further flooding.     Bernie exceeded my customer service expectations and I would use him again. He came out to treat a failing water heater and ended up having to come back a couple of times as the solution proved elusive. Each time Bernie was prompt, polite, and understanding. He also made time to swing by based around my schedule and provided me courtesy texts to let me know when he would be by. With all said and done, Bernie waived all the charges because of the inconvenience imposed by all of the follow up trips. This blew me away. I’ve very rarely encountered this sort of professional courtesy and generosity. Bottom line, I feel like Bernie really does care about doing right by the customer.

    This is by far the best pluming company hands down. Very fast efficient and reasonable. Not to mention reliable. They know what they are doing! I tried bigger companies and they quoted me 5x more than what I paid and on top of that they wanted to break down the shower which did not need to be done. The other company which had to have 3 people come out just to see what they could do. For a big corporation that is ridiculous and unnecessary. I called this guy the same day as the other people were supposed to come out and they came out and looked at it and said they could do it and then they came out a day later as it was short notice and got the job done. Now I have running water and also my pocket is not burning a hole. I will use these guys in the future. Best company in the area. The other one is the worst.
