    We had an unfortunate sewage backup in the basement just in time for the holidays. Roto-Rooter had same day availability within a reasonable timeline (about an hour and a half - the available tech was coming from farther away). We worked with Aaron first - he was knowledgeable, offered a clear explanation of what needed to be done to find the problem & was clear on costs/possible issues. He did have to call in another tech due to an unexpected equipment problem. Van (& then John) came 30 min later. They were skilled at resolving our issue. John was particularly helpful in offering guidance on our overall situation and Van did the initial heavy lifting of clearing out our lines. The job took most of the day and they worked until the job was done. Great work performed, clear communication and affordable pricing.

    Fantastic service all around, scheduling was extremely easy and lead to a quick appointment next morning.     Our sump pump needed replaced on Thanksgiving and despite it being slightly stressful, we were very pleased with the work that was done and the friendliness of both the telephone and in person staff! Aaron and his coworker, who worked together to complete the actual replacement, were thorough, competent and efficient. We could not have asked for better service!!

    Carlo and Matt(trainee) did a great job fixing my Hot water tank. Carlo was knowledgeable and honest with explaining everything. Matt was the trainee but was also creditable with information. I would recommend their service.

    Had a plumber show up for a leak from upstairs bathroom into the split level basement. We were worried about cost, timing as we were leaving out of town. Carlo came out around 4pm and found the problem. He gave us a reasonable price. He told me he could fix it today! Him and the gentleman he was training work hard to get it done even with all the commotion going on in the house they finally finished at 8pm! He was very professional and I probably annoyed him with my questions and more questions. He was egger to be patient with me and answered all of them, even unrelated of topic ones.

    Aaron came out within an hour after I called and did a great job fixing my toilet issue. Another company I called didnā€™t have any availability for a week. He was prompt, cordial, and extremely knowledgeable. He did the work required, cleaned up, and double checked for any leaks before he left.     Roto Rooter has consistently come to the rescue for us anytime we have plumbing issues. This time was no different! That last thing we expected was to have a plumbing emergency during the holiday season, but Matt was a real hero for us finding the source of the issues and installing a new toilet in less than an hour and a half. I am always very impressed by the high level of professionalism and customer service from Roto Rooter and would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of fast and friendly quality service!

    Using my garbage disposal to dispose of lasagna noodles stopped-up the kitchen sink and slop sink in utility room. Called Roto-Rooter because they touted 24hr service. Aaron came out around 9:30pm and spent nearly 2hrs, to no avail. Furthermore, all efforts had to be abandoned, as the snake broke and became unusable. Aaron vowed to return the following day after I got home from work around 5pm. Upon arrival, Aaron designed a custom P-trap whereby he was able to snake the drain while simultaneously running fresh water through the still stopped-up drain. This contraption he made proved to be a success within 5 minutes. Lastly, Aaron proved to be knowledgeable, friendly/personable, courteous, considerate and professional. Roto-Rooter further extended a significant discount in compensation for the inconvenience. I wanted to provide Aaron with a well-deserved tip; however, I did not have any cash in the house and my checkbook was at work ā€“ which made me feel horrible and a lousy customer.

    Technician Aaron from Roto-Rotoer did a vert good job with one of my customers. He was very knowledgeable of the customers situation and was very courteous as well. He got the job done very quickly but was very efficient and made sure the customer didnt have any leakage before leaving!     An unexpected pleasant service. Called Sunday at 5:30 hoping for service on Monday. Head company told me they would have someone there on Thursday July 4. Thirty minutes later Carlos called stating he would arrive in 30 minutes; he was prompt and polite. My explanation and his paperwork took more time than the service, which was a simple sludge clog. Price was more than fair, service and guarantee was above board, weekend response in one hour was happily received.

    Carlo was really amazing to work with. We had some issues with the pipes for our washer and utility sink. Carlo was able to assess the issue and presented us with a few different options. He was very meticulous and got the job done quickly. The faucet for the utility sink was originally put on backwards and he even went the extra mile to fix it and have it going the correct way. Really appreciated his help and the fact that he walked us through each issue. If we ever have another plumbing issue in the future, we will most definitely be calling Carlo to help!

    I received a call back right away. They came out within two hours. The plumber Steve assessed the problem and told me what would need to be done, he was courteous and explained everything and tried to do everything within his power to meet the things that I needed to have done. (I also needed a new handle for the water shut off for my condo and it was a much older version. He drove to three different places looking for a handle that would fit my water shut off. I appreciated that. Plus he told me some things to think about with the other issues that I had with other possible plumbing repairs that I know I will need. I am going to use this company again. The nice clean shut off replacements underneath my bathroom sink are what he did. Everything else is what was and the ceiling leak.

    Had badly clogged kitchen drain line. Aaron arrived not much more than 90 minutes after I first called Roto-Rooter. He was polite, gave me an estimate on the repair. He brought in his equipment and explained as he worked what he was doing and the problems that came up. After a lot of effort, the job was completed and the final bill was slightly under the estimate. Aaron kept cleaning as he worked and left no soil or stains at the end.No one wants to call the plumber but I cant complain about the quick response and good service I received.

    Very efficient. Representatives came within an hour of call and assessed the problem and damage and immediately started repair and clean up. Also initiated insurance claim process. Once the clean up crew and plumber got here, they coordinated how they would proceed.All went smoothly and plumbing repair was made and water restored to upstairs. Cleanup crew removed water damaged section of wall and exposed pipes for plumber and removed debris from house. They set up fans to dry floor and studs and also applied a antibacterial and antifungal for mold. They were able to remove equipment in four days with no further clean up.

He did a great job of reinstalling the expansion tank to secure it in a vertical position and re-securing the flue to the gas water heater.     Matt was very helpful in determining why my sump Pump alarm was repeatedly going off. He showed me the heavy corrosion on the posts . He also showed me the very low charging of this old battery. Once he had installed the new battery, he gave me information as to understand the alarm panel. As we have repeated flooding in my area, a functioning back up battery for my sump pump is essential. Kudos to Roto-Rooter and especially to their mechanic, Matt.

    Okay, had the day of a lifetime. Simple water heater replacement. Greg took pictures of the area. Looked over them the next day notice this hole where our HVAC condensation ran off. He looked at this and noticed that it was a sewer line that was just pumping God knows what into our air. He immediately said this is an issue. If it wasnt for Greg who knows if this could of caused long term health issues. Him and his partner Trayvon replaced the Water Heater and got people out to help start on this work to solve these issues. Some guys would of just walked away doing the job they were told to do and nothing more. Greg deserves all the special praise. Workers like him dont come around very often. Things can be pricey but when you get the quality from someone like Greg you really cant complain when your family is protected by him.

    Roto Rooter responded to an emergency call for an active leak. A servicemen was scheduled for the same day. The company called within 30 minutes of the scheduled time to indicate when the assigned plumber, Solomon, should be arriving. He arrived in a timely manner; assessed the leak and related plumbing. Costs were provided. Upon consent, Solomon obtained needed parts and began repair work. Because my property is older, he had some difficulty removing old plumbing, but efficiently absolved the leak by properly installing new fixtures. He explained the work performed, warranty and left the work area nicely repaired and clean. I would have him do any future work.

    Iā€™ll be honest I wasnā€™t too happy with the plumber who came out, he was a bit cold and pushy. But the mold and mitigation specialist, Ben, was AMAZING, beyond 5 stars!! I can say he truly cared about trying to resolve the issue. Iā€™m not sure if I will use the plumbing side, but I would absolutely use Ben for my mold and mitigation needs.     I had some water backing up in my basement drain. It was not an emergency, so I scheduled online, which was very helpful for accommodating my schedule. I called the company the day of service to confirm, and the ladies I spoke with were very professional, polite, and helpful. Terry 4911 came in the time frame scheduled. He was polite, friendly, and asked good questions to determine the best course of action. He explained things as he worked, and did a very thorough job. He wore his mask and gloves the whole time, and he did not leave a mess anywhere. So far, so good with the drainage now after doing some laundry and washing the dishes.I needed Terry to come back and fix a small leak under my kitchen sink. I was able to schedule on a Saturday, which was really helpful. He gave me a fair price, and was able to replace the wrong parts that had been installed by another company. No more leak, and the work Terry did should make the kitchen sink drain more properly.

    Larry(tech#418) came to check out our flooded basement 4/13/22 and within a reasonable amount of time determined the cause was because of the sewer line backing up from the outside into the house. Within an hour he had it cleared. John from water restoration was called in to advise us on clean-up and thats when we found out we had another problem thats not covered by our current insurance and were working on that. The field supervisor, Aaron, I believe, also came out and explained why the line backed up after sending camera through the line. All involved were extremely professional, thorough, and helpful. Im going to have to call to about water furnace next, only because I forgot to ask while they were here to make sure it was up and running (Im an essential worker and my schedule changes on a nearly daily basis so its hard to get things done and my husband is disabled). Would and will use again and recommend. Hopefully this second review will pop up for Roto-rooter.

    Where to start on this? The team they sent are rock stars! They went above and beyond. I had a mess I didnt understand, but they diagnosed and had it taken care of the very next day. Speaking as a single mom, having a part of your home ripped apart can be upsetting and scary to say the least, however these guys eliminated a nasty situation and were very caring in doing so. To say they are hardworking and efficient doesnt even scratch the surface. They kept me informed every step of the way, were respectful, moved all my stuff (and I have a lot, sorry guys) with care and left NOTHING to be cleaned up.     There were basement floor floor drain backup issues in our duplex when doing laundry and after the hard rains both basements flooded. Roto-rooter was able to get Matt out to us the next morning. He was good to communicate all of the disclosures and potential situations with us before starting the work. A main sewer clean out as far as he could go before hitting a big blockage (at which point we were offered a discount on sticking a camera down there- X), a floor drain clean out to stop the laundry drainage issue, and $700 later šŸ˜we were all set. Matt was very nice, professional, and got everything done in a timely manner (2.5 hours overall). It mightve been faster if he hadnt taken the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions with detailed explanation. Im sure there are more cost effective routes, but I feel Matt did a great job with our property and I would recommend Roto-rooter in general for older, delicate northern plumbing.

    I recently bought a house and called Rotor Rooter after a plumber my home warranty company sent out couldnā€™t fix the issue (clogged secondary sewer line that lead to downstairs lavatory backup). Jonathan came out to jet the line helped us exponentially. He was incredibly professional, and showed me all the areas Iā€™ll need to keep an eye on in future. He fixed not only the initial issue, but made sure my entire system was clear before he left. The same day service was absolutely incredible.     What could have been a devastating, disruptive and traumatic plumbing experience went way better than expected. Roto-Rooter was at my home for 5 days straight, with a few hours on day 6 for cleanup. They provided skilled employees with positive attitudes and attention to detail. Communication about what was happening and willingness of everyone to try to accommodate our needs was constant during the work. While the company (through Jason) did an amazing job of pulling many resources together quickly and as needed, the core team was Kacey (5811) and Michael (1258). I will definitely ask for them if I have a future need. I cant say enough about the consistency of their skills, performance, positive attitudes and focus on great customer service - despite several long days of hard work. Thank you!

    Had a blockage in my sewer line. Matt, was able to open the drain in order for me to flush my toilets and use the washing machine. He was professional, courteous, and respect my house by wearing covers over his shoes. He said they was root balls in my line outside and needs to have a camera run through. Im still waiting for Chris to do that, it was 5 days ago and I havent heard from him since he had to cancel 4 days so ago.

    Just had 30 feet of sewer line replaced by Roto-Rooter, and they did an amazing job! They were able to come out within 30 minutes of me calling, and had several people working on the project. Tim and Matt were remarkable - working all weekend and late one night to finish up so we could get back in the house on time.     The technician who came out deserves five stars for the work he put into clearing this drain. However, I will never use Roto router again. Their pricing structure is criminal. Yes, they do not charge extra for nights and weekends, but their base price for drain cleaning is 2 1/2 times what I wouldā€™ve paid from another vendor if I couldā€™ve found one that could come during the time I needed them to come. I have no interest whatsoever in continuing to support a business that takes advantage of people in times of emergencies like that.

    We had to call Roto-Rooter because our basement flooded. We called the night we found it and they came out the next day. Michael came first and checked everything out and even helped us even to look at our homeowners insurance to see if our issue would be covered. He explained everything very clearly and was so helpful in understanding what was going on. We are first time homeowners and have never dealt with an issue like this before and we didnā€™t feel like this was being taken advantage of. Vernon came out to actually fix the issue, he was so helpful and explained everything very clearly, especially the pricing. He even helped us get in contact with the city because our issue was caused by things on city property. Overall a very good experience and would recommend without hesitation.

    Itā€™s two days before Christmas and our bathroom sink was completely blocked. We tried snaking it ourselves but it was too far. We called Roto-Rooter at about 4pm, and about an hour later our technician showed up. Ted- tech #1700- was fantastic! He was extremely friendly, professional, and provided excellent service. He did the whole job and finished up in about 40 minutes. It was about 2 hours from my initial call to service completion. Wonderful experience, will definitely recommend and use again, and give Ted a raise for being so awesome!
