Our project was to move move our utility sink (and thus the plumbing) and stack our washer and dryer so as to make better use of the limited space we had in our laundry room. Patrick was responsive in getting back to me to discuss the project. One of the things I appreciated most was how he wasnt pushy at all yet provided me many suggestions on how best to proceed. He patiently explained what he felt was the best approach for the project. That is, what would accomplish my goal while minimizing costs. In fact, his suggestions kept making the project seem more and more worth while as there were things I hadnt even thought of.After we met, he delivered the quote when he said he would and once I committed to the project, he was very flexible with the work schedule. The project ended up getting delayed by a week because I unfortunately had ordered the wrong stacking kit but once that was corrected, Patrick completed the project just as we had discussed. I honestly felt he went above and beyond in getting the whole setup to look better than what I had envisioned.Id like to add that part of the reason we wanted to do this was to be able to upgrade our washer and dryer pair as it seemed the dryer wasnt really efficient anymore. Wouldnt you know that the new venting ended up solving this problem? We no longer have to run towels or comforters across multiple cycles. 1 cycle does the trick for everything!Thank you Patrick for a great job. You will be our guy for all of our plumbing work going forward!

Lorenz plumbing are life savers sent from above. I had issues due to the cold weather Patrick and Chris came out to take a look they seen a couple visible burst and fixed them right away once they turned the water on they discovers more leaks and were quick to repair them. They didn’t leave my house until they made sure I had no leaks and water running in the house. I can’t express my gratitude. Chris is a very hard worker and very professional as well as Patrick I highly recommend. These are plumbers to always have contact with. Ive used Lorenz Plumbing once so far and they will be my go to going forward. Patrick helped me out with a re-piping project where he switched out old galvanized hot/cold water lines to copper. His pricing was extremely reasonable and he got the work done quickly without sacrificing quality. Patrick is also extremely prompt and responsive. I would recommend Lorenz Plumbing 100%. It was easy to schedule an appointment and the turn around time to handle my urgent issue was top notch. Patrick and Chris arrived on time, introduced themselves, and were professional. They had shoe coverings and face masks on as soon as they walked through the door. Patrick was able to assess the problem and the work was completed on the spot. Patrick has all the tools and parts they needed right in the truck. Had Patrick come by to reset a couple sinks and a toilet and I cant say enough how glad I am I found them. Very responsive with more than reasonable prices and does fantastic work. My shower faucet and valve needed replacing and I came across Lorenz plumbing. After going to angies list/home advisor, never getting a call from anyone, Pat assured me he could help with my problem. The price, to me, was REALLY awesome and Pat was able to schedule me for two weeks out. When he arrived, he was very professional, clean, friendly and he knew what he was doing. Within two hours he had everything fixed and my shower/tub faucet is in EXCELLENT shape. Pat was really great and provided a high level of service and he did it quickly. Lorenz Plumbing was fantastic! Recently moved to Palatine and was looking for a good circle of people to help with all the troubles that come with home ownership. Patrick was recommended by another business that had recently contracted him. I held onto his business card until I had a good list of work that needed to be done. We had a good interaction via text with pictures and requests. It was all coordinated quickly and very friendly. Our work was split into two days, the first day was a breeze with toilet replacement and an attic pipe repair. Second day was the water heater and a broken sewer pipe. So, about a half hour in, I hear Marcos, can you come down here? - INSTANT PANIC. So... basically, the pipe was broken under the cement and had basically created a basin of feces UNDER THE HOUSE! I wouldve expected any person to just walk away at that moment. This was not at all what we had expected, but Patrick really saved the day. He was able to clean out the basin, repair the pipe, and add a clean layer of cement. It was incredible work. I am so thankful for Patrick and his associate. They were seriously the best, I will ONLY work with Patrick moving forward. And best of all, hes a really good guy. I feel like I made a friend, and it was worth every penny spent (at a very reasonable cost).

Patrick showed up early when we had been without use of our toilet and washing machine for more than a week. His quote was very reasonable given that my husband contacted several other companies who were 200-300 more than Lorenz. Also he warrantied his work for 1 year . He installed our ejector pump in less than 45 minutes, showed me the before and after photos and was very clean. He left no garbage nor did he track any dirt/mud into our home. He was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family members. All this after we had been given the runaround by American Home Shield, where our warranty did not cover our expense.
