    Yesterday at 7:00 am I called Water Heaters Only. Our water heater had leaked all over the garage over night and we had no hot water. We happen to have a forced vent water heater. They are a little pricey and also difficult to find. They scheduled a tech for 12:00 noon the same day. Thomas , the tech called me an hour before noon and asked if he could come a little ahead of schedule, a request that we were very happy to accept. He explained in detail what we needed and how he would take care of the issue. By 6:00 Pm the same day we had a new forced vent water heater installed and hot water in the house. Very happy with how they took care of our problem. David , the person who took my call was very pleasant with great customer service and I cannot say enough about Thomas , the Tech who did the work very professionally and left my garage spot less after he was done. I highly recommend this company.

    This is a long thorough but honest review. First off, the phone reception people provide excellent service. Justin did a wonderful job installing my new water heater. He came on time the next day after I placed my first call appointment. Over the past couple years, I’ve had to wait days, even up to a week for different plumbing companies to send someone for an estimate. (In my line of work , I’ve hired many plumbers and contractors.) Most plumbing companies charge for first time visits with estimates, often applied towards the bill. Asking for a credit card number over the phone. Water Heaters Only does free estimates. I felt Justin’s estimate for this job was fair. With plumbing and appliances, you get what you pay for. Justin took the time to educate me on each appliance and upkeep, so I could make the right decision for my home and budget. I was on the fence about whether I should get a tankless, or just replace or flush my 13 year old tank. Justin offered the new install same day, but I chose for the next day. I called and changed my mind an hour before he arrived for the install the following morning, but he still brought both a tank and tankless just in case. At first, I was going for a Navien tankless that Justin suggested. After doing some research, I felt for a small two person family of my husband and I, in our small 1k sq ft home, we probably wouldn’t get much more out of a tankless than we would from a 40 gallon tank. But who doesn’t want that luxurious hot water that never runs out?! I would love to have gone for the tankless. Overall and budget wise, I ended up getting another Bradford White 40 gallon tank with no regrets.13 years my old BW tank lasted without maintenance…not too shabby. Plus the newer thinner taller design seemed to take up less width space. Justin had my new Bradford White tank neatly assembled, and up to code in 2-3 hours. Good as new. Even with old gas lines. (My house is almost 80 years old.)It’s been a week since. My husband and I are enjoying long piping hot showers again. I do want to mention that Water Heaters Only San Diego stays open 7 days a week, and they do not charge extra rates on weekends and holidays. I thought that was pretty cool. Most importantly, I got a trusted Bradford White water heater installed promptly and up to code by a reputable contractor, and for a decent price. I’ll definitely call them in the future for all my water heater needs. 10/10 recommend!!!

    Nobody wants to have their water heater go out on a Sunday afternoon one month before selling their home....I had just gotten back in town after a few weeks away and got a text from my renter that the water heater was gushing water. Ugh! I started doing my research and calling around. I was so grateful that they answer their phones here 24/7 and were able to get me an appointment for the following afternoon. Damien called to let me know he was on his way and within a few hours I had a new water heater! He brought the new water heater with him and took the old one with him. Damien the technician was efficient, professional and friendly. He was easy to understand and walked us through all the features of the new heater, the installation process used and all safety features. The final price was similar to the sight unseen quote I was given on the phone and it felt like money well spent. I would use them again and rec to my family, friends, and clients. Thank you!!!

    Exceptional service at a great price! I am so glad we selected Water Heaters Only to replace our 75 gallon water heater. Justin, the technician, called 30 minutes before arriving and was right on time. He spent some time reviewing if he could repair the heater, but it was 14 years old and was beyond repair. Justin then walked through all the things he would do during the replacement including adding an additional earthquake strap, overflow pressure tank, and gas line sediment filter to bring everything up to code. His work was extremely professional and quick. At almost $1000 less than other bids we received, I highly recommend Water Heaters Only and especially Justin for water heater repairs or replacements.

    It is clear that Waterheaters Only, Inc. has sustained superior performance in operations, maintenance, and addressing customer needs. I discovered they respond quickly via email, phone, and text. A technician was promptly dispatched to my home for an onsite assessment. As soon as I submitted my issue on Yelp and their website I received a call from Dave within 5 min providing me some troubleshooting tips, availability of technicians, ball park cost estimates for replacement. Our technician, Justin G. did an outstanding job installing out new water heater. He was prompt, friendly, and an outstanding communicator. He exhibited an exceptional technical acumen in diagnosing my old heater, and provided a fair quote for replacement.     Absolutely phenomenal in every facet! Customer service, timing (was able to get next day appt when I called the previous evening), pricing (way lower than 3 other comps), quality, etc. If I owned a business, this is the benchmark for how I would operate. Justin was my tech, and I cant speak highly enough of his professionalism, expertise, and positive demeanor. Its rare to have an employee with all 3 of those characteristics. Dont go with any competitor before at least contacting these guys. You wont regret it!

    Nothing is more frustrating than a cold shower in the cold morning, except your wife having the cold shower! Alex answered the 24/7 call at 6PM and walked us through our scheduling options and Water Heaters Only background. David locally answered my call the morning of the appointment to confirm some details and discuss the sourced equipment and why Bradford and White were the company main choice for gas heaters, their experience with Heat pumps so far, and some other details. He completed the call with the assurance the tech would be out to perform the estimate and ready to start once approved. Justin arrived in the early part of the scheduled window. He was polite and professional. His installation was quick and careful with a full clean up. He walked both my wife and I through the inspection, maintenance, and settings of the New Bradford and White Gas Hot Water Heater. Answered questions and went over their warranty, service numbers, and recommended emergency procedures until my wife was comfortable. He was patient with both of us.     Had a water heater replacement on 5/30 with Damien and it went super smoothly when I was initially worried there might be complications due to the piping in my garage.     Had a great experience with the technician. John Burns did an excellent job of explaining the work to be done and what the cost would include. He was very professional while installing the water heater. Once the water heater was installed, he did a nice job of explaining how to adjust the temperature and how to shut down the gas if needed and showed me where the important valves were.     I called the company because I thought I needed a new water heater. I had met with two companies before and gotten quotes before finding water heaters only. I met with Thomas a very personable young man who noticed the heater was showing an error message that indicated something just needed cleaning. I hadnt noticed it before, and no other company said anything about it. So, we agreed that he would just clean it instead of replacing it and he did, and I was very happy. Needless to say, I will be calling him back when it finally does fail. Great job! I definitely appreciated his competence and honesty. I recommend you ask for Thomas.

    Long story short, fantastic service provided by Water Heaters Only and technician Thomas B. If anyone is living in San Diego I would highly recommend Thomas B. as your next technician because of his high degree of knowledge, the meticulous work he provides, and the honest craftsmanship. My water heater flame went out and when I tried the pilot re-lit the flame would not stay on. After considering replacing the storage water heater, Thomas B. made a last-ditch effort to replace the thermocouple and to our luck, it worked! The flame stood strong and Thomas even waited over a couple hours to ensure the flame did not fade. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality work provided by the technician and the professionalism of Water Heaters Only. Will definitely call back if needing a replacement water heater.

    I cant say enough about Justin, our tech, and the value of the service. As a matter of uncanny timing our old water heater started leaking all over our garage a week after moving back into our home. We were displaced due to a major plumbing leak flooding two floors of our townhome. I called a few places but found Water Heaters via Google. The main reason I contacted them was because one review said they were 40% less than every other estimate. I had been quoted nearly 5k for a replacement and install by other companies and the wallet was feeling a little worse for wear. After speaking with a very helpful phone rep (sorry that I dont remember her name), I made a same day appointment. Justin our tech called me and asked if he could come earlier. Justin was professional and was happy to accommodate our kid and dog chaos. Justin gave us a complete rundown of the job and an educated guess on the timing of the service. We were able to get the kids out of the house and trust him to do his work. When we returned Justin had finished his work which included replacing the valves and copper tubing to the water heater. All in all we spent almost half the amount of the other estimates and got more done than we expected. I have already recommended the company to a coworker and my wife has done so to. Very thankful for this experience after having to deal our very stressful previous flood and all the insurance and plumbing hassles.

    I was given a 4 hour time window for the installer (Thomas B) and he called me shortly after 9 and notified me that he would have to pick up the water heater from the warehouse (30 gallon heaters were not normally kept in inventory). He called again when he he picked it up and gave me the time he expected to arrive. Once he arrived he inspected the old heater (24 years old) located in the crawl space under the house, gave me a quote and told me that more more earthquake reinforcement should be put in for safety reasons. I accepted the quote. He drained and removed the old heater, installed the new one, built additional reinforcement and tested the system for functionality and leaks.He was courteous, conscientious and friendly

He went above and beyond to replace our leaking water heater and bring everything up to code.     Danny 177157 came on time and immediately checked the tank and he explained to me everything and all possible options and I picked to replace it after knowing that it was mire than 10 years old. He immediately worked on it, and he did it so well and he made sure that everything is properly and correctly attached. Hes so patient and after several hours the water heater was properly attached and secured. Hes so efficient, kind and courteous.     Everyone has the fear of coming home to a garage with water all over the ground coming from their water heater. That was me today. So I go online and one of the first results was Water Heaters Only. Checked out their website, called, and they had someone at my house within 30 minutes. The person on the phone was very nice and helpful. He found out that my water heater was 12+ years old so it was time to replace it. As soon as I knew someone was coming I immediately drained my water heater to make the process faster. Patrick was person who came to do the job. As soon as he came he looked to what need to be done and started right away. He was very professional and got everything done quite quickly! Water heater removal, installation, gas piping update, soldering, pan and straps only took about an hour and fifteen minutes! I just had my 75-gallon water heater replaced yesterday by Michael at Water Heaters Only and the entire process was very efficient and we had hot water that afternoon.We called around 9:45 and by 1:30 Michael pulled up to our house and he immediately started working on the project. Michael was very good at explaining what he was doing and he went out of his way to make the entire process very painless.     I had a surprise failure of my water heater, and called up this company. Turns out they had someone in the area, and within less than an hour, Danny made it to my doorstep.     We have had Water Heaters Only replace water heaters in the past. I noticed brown tinted hot water and decided to replace the water heater.     Justin was great. My water heater broke during the night and was leaking. He came out same day to install a new one. Updated the gas line, water supply, sediment trap, and expansion tank. We received excellent service from the start and are so thankful to have someone like Micheal represent your company and install our water heater.     I am so glad I called Water Heaters Only! I phoned a few other places before I found them on Google, and none of them could come out until Monday.     After experiencing black water coming out of our faucet I called the number listed on my water heater receipt from 2006. Even though the phone call was at 8 pm I was able to talk to someone very knowledgeable and helpful. I looked at Angies List and found that Waters Heaters Only was rated extremely high.     I had a new water heater installed today by one of their technicians, Chris Scoville. He was right on time and discussed every detail of what kind of heater I needed. He was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure my water pressure was correct, which it was not! He was able to replace my pressure valve and install the greatest Bradford White water heater.     My huge 120 gallon water heater supporting the solar hot water system starting leaking from the bottom. My handyman told me to use Water Heaters only.     Woke up to a water heater leak on Thursday morning, and we were referred to Water Heaters Only by a licensed plumber. We set an afternoon appointment, they were available an hour earlier and Chris, our installer, did a very thorough and beautiful job with the installation, and he brought all the mounting, and fixtures up to code. Though it was a little more than we thought we might spend, the job was so well done, it was worth the additional expense, especially in light of the fact that the old heater lasted for 17 years, and the code has certainly evolved since then.     I woke to find no hot water the week before Christmas. I called several companies and WATER HEATERS ONLY was the only one that answered the phone. The rest had machines that promised call-backs. Upon answering the phone: the person asked the problem, gave a quote and told me a plumber named Derrick would be there that day; and gave me a three hour window in which to expect him. Further, Derrick would call when he was on the way. He called and arrived on time. Derrick inspected the water heater, updated the quote and went to work The job was completed in a little over two hours This made me very happy. Before leaving, Derrick went over some information concerning the water heater and explained the warranty. I thought he was very professional and was extremely pleased with his service. I hope I wont need them again but if I do I will use them. By the way, Water Heaters Only had installed the previous water heater in 1997 nearly twenty years before and Derrick said it might have been done by his father. I am a very happy customer.

    On March 10, 2015, we woke up to no hot water in the house.     On Sept. 9, 2015 the water heater failed after 10 years. Needed a replacement right away. Called Water Heaters Only and discussed situation with Bill, and agreed to replace my 75 gallon tank with a 50 gallon Tank. Bill arranged to dispatch a tech within a couple hours. Technician Chris Scoville called ahead to advise he was on his way, and arrived on time. Within 2 1/2 hours Chris completed replacing the leaking water heater, replaced the LP gas line, all supply lines, and line to the existing recirculating pump. Chris is very personable, worked quickly and professionally and did an outstanding job.

    Great experience!I purchased a Bradford White URG 150 (50 Gal.) from Water Heaters Only to replace my Rheem 21V50-2N. The URG 150 was almost the exact same diameter so my earthquake straps did not have to be altered. I am a “Made in America” kind of guy so this is my unit of choice. The Water Heaters Only representative who called before arrival to give me an ETA was Derek. I was “totally” impressed with Derek’s professionalism and congenial demeanor. It was very apparent during the process that he was very experienced and an installation expert as his work was performed in a quick and precise manner. Along with the new water heater, an updated gas valve, gas flex line and input/output water flex lines were installed. A new drip pan was installed and plumbed to an existing pipe that ran external to the garage which gave me great peace of mind knowing that if there was ever a leak in the future, it would not flood my garage as it did with my old water heater. I am certainly satisfied with all aspects of this installation and would highly recommend Water Heaters Only to “anyone”. I am 69 years old and this was the third water heater I have had replaced in my lifetime so my observations are based on past experience. I hope this overview of my experience is helpful.     Yesterday, July 30, 2016, I discovered that the water heater was leaking (it was many years past warranty). I called Water Heaters Only and within a couple of hours Pat showed up. He emptied the water from the old unit (that was not easy, since the water is very hard here and left a lot of Calcium deposit). Then removed the unit, took it downstairs all by himself (according company policy I was not allowed to help). Then brought up and installed the new unit. He had to turn off the main shut off for a few minutes. Pat must have installed hundreds of units and clearly knew what he was doing. He behaved very professionally, answered all my questions, and volunteered more information and safety warnings that might be useful. He also had a good sense of humor, which was appreciated. Nobody likes to call the plumber, but it could not have gone better.

    We found water on the floor Saturday morning coming from our hot water heater. We called before 8 am, got a response and had a new water heater before 11 am. Chris was great and very profession. A job well done.

    Pat installed the heater 8/1/2016. He did an excellent job working in a tight space. He gets five stars. The company is quick to take your call and quick to get out to your home. However, I only give 4 stars overall because the price was higher than quoted over the phone and there was no break down on parts vs labor, just a single dollar amount - $1409.00. Where does the 9 dollars come from? Your guess is as good as mine. Pat did not explain why they dont give a breakdown of costs. In such cases, I then start worrying about the quality of the heater that was installed. Was it an el cheapo or a good one? Who knows?

    Had a great experience with them today with Michael as my technician. He inspected and removed the old tank, then installed the new tank in only a couple of hours. No problems at all, would recommend. - Chris
