We needed our driveway replaced due to large tree root damage from tree planted by previous owners of our neighbors house. Mia met us to prepare an initial proposal. We reviewed and discussed options with Mia. We selected pavers and added the walkway to our home. It looked good and work done professionally and without delay. We added artificial lawns to complete the front of our home.Sergio and Alfredo managed an excellent team . We could not be happier with the improvements.

I had the pleasure of working with Edgar, Sean and SUN COASTowner Keith Miles. Everyone was very easy to work with. They were very patient with me as I waited until late October to have my roof & skylights replaced. I would say that they were all very attentive paying attention to the details. I have by far the nicest roof on my street in Talmadge Park, San Diego. I have received so many compliments. Recently this year (2024), our neighborhood has been designated as a historic community inSan Diego County. The quality & appearance of my roof added value to Talmadge Park Estates which is a proud historic community from the 1930s and 1940s. Even more amazing is that the everyone was exactly on-time every day of the project!!

We recently had our entire roof replaced by Sun Coast and the entire process from quote to execution was exceptional once you get over the cost of such a project. Initially Brandon Mueller worked with us on the estimate and was 100% transparent from the beginning. He left no detail uncovered, answered our million questions and set the right expectations about potential costs not included. That was the easy part. Once we confirmed our deposit we worked with Edgar Corona the Foreman on scheduling. From the start he was accessible, forthcoming and very easy to work with. He helped us navigate our solar company removing the panels, kept us updated on timelines and answered another million questions I had. We had several rain storms leading up and he worked with us in tandem to schedule everything with little to no delay (despite adverse weather conditions). During the removal process they discovered every homeowner’s nightmare, additional work not covered in the quote. Since Brandon disclosed this possibility and Edgar helped confirm worse case scenario the hit was surprisingly easy to absorb. He worked with us on payment terms and more importantly kept the project on schedule allowing us to get the panels back up and earning money as originally planned. Never thought I’d be happy to get our roof replaced, however if it wasn’t for Edgar we would have spent more money just on delaying the reinstall of our solar panels. Sun coast was everything Brandon and Edgar said it would be and we are very thankful we ignored some of the low ball quotes out there. Transparent, honest and very easy to work with are just some of the things that come to mind. Edgar’s crew was also exceptional in their professionalism, workmanship and communication. My kids enjoyed every interaction with them and we appreciate their time and patience with us. I will always recommend them based on our experience.

We heard about Coolwall, TexCote paint system from another company, but went with SunCoast for their BBB rating and sales professionalism.Brandon and Colin were excellent listeners and presenters of their company and product.When it came time to do the work, Oscar was easy to work with and very responsive. You can tell they take pride in the final product. They had a lot of wood prep and stucco patching on our house. He and his crew were hard working, friendly, and respectful. Sun Coast replaced our 16 ft wide slider panels to our deck, a rectangular window, and a round window. They did a new installation which requied extensive and precise carpentry to blend with our existing exterior cedar siding. They did an excellent job which fully met all our expectations, as promised. We were very impressed with the quality of the window & slider options, warranty and communications. They did a good job ensuringaall joints were thoroughly sealed against the weather.They are very professional, covering possession s with plastic and thoroughly cleaning up after themselves. We have used other window companies that go out of business afyer three years (just changing identity) voiding warranties. The warranty offered was from a very long standing manufacturer. The price was not low budget, but we are happy to be able to get a quality product. We would definitely use them again.

We recently completed a landscape project with Sun Coast Remodelers. Sergio Del Rio took excellent care of our project which included lawn removal and installation of decomposed granite and a few rock areas. The project was completed in a timely manner, workers were courteous and efficient, the majority of the project was completed in 4-5 days. We had a few minor complications with the weather/rain during the install but Sergio was able to assess the situation with us and come to a reasonable solution. They replaced some of the original windows of our house. During the sales process, the salesman detailed the differences between original and the new ones which allowed to make good decisions (replace block of windows in an area rather than one at a time). The windows are high quality ones with smooth opening, sound and sunlight barriers, and esthetic pleasing. The employees who installed them were very discreet moving through our home, very competent, and the end result is outstanding. There was little communication between the salesman visit and the installation which felt a little long over the 6-week window fabrication time. Overall, this company makes and installs high quality windows.

I contracted with Sun Coast Remodelers to repaint our home in Scripps Ranch. It is a difficult 2 story but Oscar and crew did a wonderful job repairing some wood rot and sanding a lot of peeling paint.It is painted in Cool Wall and we wanted the same coating because it lasts for years. Our trim is dark green and it takes a beating from the sun.They custom matched our existing trim color and all wood and stucco surfaces were painted to perfection.Thank you, Jon, Pete, Oscar and crew from the Rules, Roger and Betty!

It was somewhat disappointing that in the many reviews listed above, I only noticed one review regarding landscaping. We were told they had been doing landscaping for around 16 years, and it seemed strange there was only one review.Suncoast relandscaped our front yard from dirt and a few weeds to a desertscape and used plants that I already had in the backyard which saved a little money in not having to purchase new plants. They were very timely in arriving to work, very friendly and willing to please, and each day they left the property nicely cleaned up. The job was finished in four days and we are happy with the looks of it. We had a little problem with the sprinkler control due to an SDG&E electrical outage, and Mario was kind enough to make a special trip out to get it working correctly again -- much appreciated, Mario.

Sun Coast did a great job of applying the Coolwall coating and repainting of my house! Joe and his crew were quick and very thorough with repairs to my aging plaster before starting on the Coolwall. Jeff and his workers did excellent work during installation and made sure everything was cleaned up and inspected before they left.I cant think of any negatives with these installations and highly recommend Sun Coast Remodelers.

We did a full kitchen remodel with Sun Coast. The road had some bumps along the way, but what full remodel doesnt - its always a high stress project with a rigid timeline that really needs flexibility. In the end, the quality of product we received was outstanding and the follow up customer service after the completion of the project really has been impressive - they have come out to do tweaks/adjustments without hesitation. The custom cabinets are beautiful and very high quality, the granite slabs that arrived were better slabs then any we had seen when we picked it out, we literally were in awe when they were installing them - and we could not be happier with our new kitchen!

With inclement weather screwing up scheduling, work that is weather dependent often has to be fluid.The guys showed up and did an amazing, quick, and professional job. We were so impressed with Sun Coasts rep that we had them do a large remodel which upgraded most of the house and added 650 sq ft. The workmanship and quality was excellant. The new room additions were seamless both inside and outside. They were fast and did whatever it took to stay on schedule. We highly recommend them.

Through my own hard research I knew exactly what I wanted. What I wanted was only manufactured by Anlin so I sought-out all the Anlin-authorized in San Diego (from the list on the Anlin website) to give me a quote on replacing my sliding door/screen with one that had a pet door imbedded into it.Oddly, a contrcator’s showroom in El Cajon where I first saw what I wanted in-person (and where learned that what I had in my mind actually existed) was not even included in Anlin’s online listings for San Diego County. Strange.One contractor from the Anlin list told me to take photos, inside and out, measure, and he’d give me a quote on the phone! Huh!!!!Others came out and measured and some were better than others, in both quote and in knowledge. In all, I had four legitimate quotes already in hand when SunCoast showed up to give me quote #5.My wife and I were initially very impressed with how knowledgable our sales rep, Michael McClure, was. I’ve been in sales for almost 40 years, selling insurance to businesses, and, I was getting things demonstrated and explained to me with the same professionalism that I use when I’m with a client trying to close. I know a professional sales presentation that respects the intelligence of the prospect.My wife and I had absolutely no intention of signing anything that evening. It was the farthest thing from our minds. We were merely getting yet another quote. But something rang true about Michael’s presentation which was really so vastly different from anything I had previously seen from the previous four, and that if this sales rep was such a knowledgeable pro, and if, as he repeatedly said, his company also was a consummate pro, then this was for sure the company for us to hire.After finally agreeing on pricing, quite unbelievably to us, I wrote him a check and signed on the dotted line.We were told 3 to 3 1/2 weeks. Our install date was exactly 4 weeks.We simply could not be happier with our purchase. Both with the sales presentation and with the merchandise and the installation. The installers cleaned-up after themselves vey well. I had absolutely nothing whatsoever to pick up after they left. Not a screw. Not a sliver. Inside and out. Very well done.Yes, we spent more than we expected (or wanted or budgeted) but we know we made the right choice by going with with Sun Coast.

While it is difficult to rate I have to give my two cents. The sales person was very kind, although pushy. I didnt appreciate that after saying multiple times that I would not provide my husbands name the conversation continued back to it again and again. If you want to waste my time, I dont want to give you my business. If arguing is how the job will go then NO thanks. They checked public records and today texted me saying they would see us, included my husbands name at appointment. Not okay! Oh, and they dont answer their phone or return a phone message. Really? There are people out there who want my business and respect my requests.

The first meeting we had with Suncoast was with Jim on July 15. We were pleased with the presentation and signed up on the same day. The work was done professionally and the patio cover is beautiful. The reason Im only rating them 4-star is because the work was not finished until Sep 4 - almost 7 weeks later when we were quoted 2-3 weeks to get our patio cover. I had to contact Suncoast several times to find out the status - they should have been updating me instead. I know COVID has messed up the supply chain but its still not an excuse to not communicate with the customer.

Job is nicely done.Sales rep was accommodating to come a late evening to explain and show the type of work needed but once the contract is signed, you dont hear from him anymore, no follow-up or client satisfaction visit.The roofing workers team is good but you dont know if they will come the next day or following week, because the daily communication is far from being great. No updates on the progress or if they encounter situations somewhere else that keeps the team from coming.If I do business again, I would be more direct with my expectations.In the end, roof looks good.No it actually looks great.I wanted to add that it was thoughtful to inform us that the garage was too flat to do regular shingles and had to be redone up to codes with a different layer.Cheers.

We are very pleased with the work done by Suncoast. I love coming home every day and seeing our beautiful house. The workers were responsive to all the issues we brought to them.The reason we didn’t give them a 5 star review is because of their fine detail. There was paint on some of the windows. There was also messy tape work along the bottom of the house. When brought to their attention nothing was done about it. I guess once they get paid they’re done.Once again, I love the job they did but I’m not completely satisfied!

The sales person was very pleasant and gave us all of the information we needed. He wasnt pushy and answered all of our questions. We received 3 quotes and Sun Coast was the most competitive pricing and highest quality product. They just completed the installation and we couldnt be happier. Our home was left clean and the roof looks beautiful! We even have an extended warranty. I would highly recommend this company.

Many contractors dont have the desire or know how to work with a bank to help home owners such as myself take advantage of this awesome loan program. Because I had such a good experience, I referred them to my mom and had them do a full kitchen remodel at my 2nd property that was completed in an amazing 4 days. Sun Coast Remodelers (Sales rep. Jon) was great. We had our very large deck repaired and house painted with cool-coat. We applied for the HERO program. The job was expensive but worth it (using the HERO program.) Jon had a saying promise a little and deliver a lot. He certainly lived up to what he said. His crew Romereos Painting was excellent. Oscar and his crew were efficient and competent.Liked Jon and Oscar so much that I recommended them to my sister-in-law she was also very pleased with Sun Coast and Romereos painting.
