GMG and Gabe did an awesome job renovating our horribly dated bathroom. If it wasnt in the same location, you wouldnt know its the same bathroom. Throughout the process Gabe worked with me to get the job done, correctly and on budget. He was responsive and communicated throughout the process. He and his team - especially Buck - did excellent work, and made sure everything was up to their company standards. Appreciably, they stuck to the timeline. Best renovation process Ive ever had (and there have been several). I will be calling GMG again next time our house needs any work done.

They did a good job and stayed on budget. I did have to put half down up front, and that has not been my experience with other contractors, so that was my only issue: there is some considerable trust required to pay a contractor half up front. But the trust was vindicated! The work was performed well and we are very happy with GMG!

We recently used GMG Construction of South Texas to convert a formal living room in our home into a study. We couldnt be more please with the results. The best thing I can say about it is the addition looks like it has been a part of the house all along. They did a wonderful job of making sure the paint and trim were a perfect match to what was already in the home. Gabes entire crew was extremely professional and courteous and I couldnt recommend GMG more.

We had some remodeling ideas for our house and I had no idea where to start. After reading some reviews I had 3 companies come out and give me quotes. I ultimately went with GMG construction for two reasons. First I appreciated the honesty and time they took to really look at the job I was requesting. Instead of just listening and giving me a number he got up in the attic walked around the house to get a better idea on the scope in order to give me the most accurate quote he could. (I guess that was already 2 reasons). Secondly, communication. I really appreciated the way they helped me understand all that was involved and were so quick to respond via text all my questions and thoughts. They made me feel like we were in it together and working toward an exceptional finish. Not just a job to check off their list.We had extensive work done on our house and we were thrilled with the end product. This review probably doesn’t do them justice. All around 5 stars in every category there could be— from start to finish an amazing experience for our family.

We decided it was time to remodel the bathrooms and upgrade our kitchen countertops.We wanted a quality upgrade so both materials and workmanship were key. We did not want to use any of the one day solutions as we were looking for more of a custom job.After interviewing 3 different contractors we decided on GMG Construction.So glad we did!! Gabe was very easy to work with and his crew was great! Communication was very open and if delays were expected then we knew about it.Everyone was super nice and professional. They double checked everything with us to make sure it was what we wanted and cleaned up after themselves everyday.Overall we had a good experience and the work turned out as we had hoped, if not better! Gabe and his Team are an outstanding group of guys. Our home was built in 1955 and we were ready for some changes. Gabe came in with a great vision and we did a COMPLETE remodel to our home. The entire house received brand new electrical wiring and plumbing throughout, including brand new HVAC and duct work and custom made kitchen cabinets, countertops and island. Brand new porcelain tile, insulation and drywall and new double pane windows all around. Gabe and his guys also did an addition to our home to include brand new amazing bathrooms and we couldnt be happier. I could go on and on as to how talented and knowledgeable Gabe and his guys are, they were always looking for ways to save us money with their awesome ideas. The complete remodeling of our home was completed several months ago, and Gabe still calls and texts just to see how were doing and to say hello. We now consider Gabe as a life long friend. My wife and I will always strongly recommend GMG to anyone looking to make improvements to their home. Gabe literally built us a brand new beautiful house. GMG has performed work on our home on two occasions. The windows and doors were replaced in 2013. New siding, paint and a new covered porch were installed in 2016. We are very pleased with the results of the work and plan on using them again in the near future on some interior projects on our home.

Hired GMG Construction to do a kitchen remodel recently and my husband and I are very pleased with the results. We consulted 3 different contractors and while the estimates were similar we got a good feeling about Gabe. He had a lot of good ideas but also listened and was open to what we were looking for in our dream kitchen. Gabe was accessible throughout the project and met with us to help pick out a backsplash...twice...as we changed our minds. The crew and sub-contractors seemed like a family having worked together for years. They were always pleasant, friendly and professional. We Finally decided to get the master bath remodel we have wanted done this year. After many (10-15) quotes, reviews, and much discussion, we decided to go with GMG. Gabe and Paul were beyond professional, polite, and saw the vision we had right from the start. There was not one bad review and the warranty cannot be matched. We converted a single shower and tub combo to a walk in shower with a nook area for makeup. Each crew member from demo, plumbing, tile, wall installation, and painting, we’re impeccable in work details to ensure things are done correctly and look perfect in the end. Everyday the crews arrived on time and cleaned up each day after work was done. I have dogs and they treated them as if they were part of their family and made a point to be familiar with them each day. Words cannot describe how pleased we are with the craftsmanship and crew and will work with GMG when we decide to remodel again. It’s so important to have a reliable company to ensure you get what you want and done right for the expense. The final product exceeded our vision for the space. Thank you GMG and crew!

I have had the pleasure of working with the guys at GMG Construction of South Texas on a few projects. They are very easy to work with. I like their attention to details and the quality of work is excellent. As an Electrician, I make suggestions all the time as far as how someone is using their space and give them my input on power and lighting recommendations. Gabe and his employees are able to pass this information on to their customers and we make their dreams a reality. If you have a remodel or construction project, give these guys a shot, you won’t regret it.

Gabe and his crew were highly professional and thorough. They converted an outdoor balcony into an interior room that were using as a gym. Gabe considered all details, ordered and installed custom windows and doors, and transformed all exterior elements to interior (e.g. wall finish, electrical outlets, fan, door threshold, and more). The team also installed wall-to-wall rubber flooring, completing the renovation to a full-time gym.Gabe faced lots of supply chain challenges during the project, so it took longer than anticipated. He was highly communicative throughout, and managed to complete all of the major work in time for our gym equipment to be delivered.Gabe and his team worked well with us on this unusual and fully custom project, and we wouldnt hesitate to hire GMG Construction again for another room renovation.

We were referred to GMG by a personally known and highly reputed contractor who was too scheduled to take on our job. We then worked nearly daily with GMG at our residence for 3-4 months on a true variety of challenges. Gabe and his crew were very personable, adaptable to our changing wishes, dedicated to high quality work, capable with concept and detail, and unusually easy to communicate with. I especially appreciated their commitment to doing a job well rather than to just getting it done, this evidenced in part by their often offering ideas as work unfolded and willingly making modifications mid-stream when needed. No rigidity! They attended to whatever was needed, often hands-on and, when-not, through solid subcontractors.

I needed help with a few tasks at my moms house. My floor man referred Gabe as his parents previously used him. GMG installed a new bathroom vanity adding an additional sink which involved new plumbing. They also floated the walls after I removed some very dated wallpaper. After that was done I had them replace all the interior doors. He quoted me a price which in the end the price was cheaper. Finding a qualified contractor is daunting and down right scary. Gabes workers were all respectful, kind and very qualified and i can honestly say I will hire him.again.

GMG Construction was the 3rd company to furnish a proposal for work/remodeling in our home. We were wanting new cabinetry on upper cabinets to extend to the ceiling with adjustable shelving and have new doors and painting on base cabinets to match the new upper cabinets. We already had granite countertops with backsplash and had been told by previous companies that replacing the base cabinets would involve removing countertops. GMG told us removal of base cabinets and installing new base cabinets could be done without having to remove the countertops. We were wanting a couple of large drawers in base cabinets so as not to have to get on knees to find certain pots, pans, etc. Long story short we ended up with a proposal for new kitchen cabinets, new matching doors and paint on original laundry room cabinets, matching doors and paint on cabinets in guest bathroom along with retiling of bathtub/shower combo. Remodel of master bath to add a linen tower with new cabinetry, plumbing, expansion of shower, moving bathtub next to tower, new flooring. We had all baseboards as well as all doors, except 3 doors in the house painted, all hardware replaced on doors replaced, new fireplace mantel with surround, garage repainted, masonry work on porch.It took time. All work had its moments when things had to be figured out and they were. I was impressed with solutions. I will add in each case, Gabe (owner of company) was creative and true to making everything right. Submitting some before and after photos.

As the Design Assistant at Whitney Schones Design my focus is working with contractors on our client’s high end homes. GMG Construction is my favorite to use by far. I have worked with Gabe and his team in numerous projects of all sizes. From start to finish Gabe uses his strong communication skills, eagerness to help and attention to detail to ensure a quality finished product. Our clients have also preferred GMG over other contractors because the crew members are knowledgeable, respectful, and have great manners onsite. If you are looking for a general contractor I highly recommend GMG.

GMG has done 2 projects for us. They are very accommodating and went through design ideas with us. They stuck to our timeline and made any changes we asked for along the way. They remodeled our kitchen, put hardwood floors throughout or house, and installed new sliding doors. All projects came out beautiful and exceeded expectations.
