Its not how you start but how you finish that matters. We had some bumps in the beginning with a sub contractor Tacheny hired. But they removed the crew due to poor workmanship and and had their own team re do the job. James Hardie siding is a premium product and to get the most out of the siding you want it done by skilled workers who have the experience. I assure you, you only want to do a siding job once. Jack, Jim, Karol, and Christian have been easy to communicate wirh. Top notch results. Tacheny did what they said they would do and did the job right. We are very pleased with the results.

We recently had Tacheny Exteriors replace our roof, and I have to say, it was a really positive experience. The crew was not only on time and professional but also clearly knew what they were doing. They made sure to answer all our questions, which was really reassuring. What really stood out to us was how they handled the weather. With rain in the forecast, they didn’t take any chances. My house was struck by lightning. There was extensive damage to the roof, rafters and the siding. Tachney had a crew out really quickly and replaced rafters, plywood and the shingles. Due to pandemic related supply issues, the siding took longer to replace. When finished, the old wood siding was replaced with a concrete wood looking panels. It should last forever. Great Job!!

If your looking for a roofing or siding contractor I highly recommend Tacheny Exteriors. My husband and I recently had our house sided and are very happy with the out come. I had the pleasure working with a young man named Riley. From the beginning to the end he was very informative, working with our insurance co. (we all know how exhausting that can be), patient,kind, attentive to details I would have not thought of. On several occassions he even stopped by just to chat. I cant say enough on how easy he made the entire process. My phone calls were always returned and any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner. The workers and the project mgr Nic were great. The workers were always on time, worked late and left the place clean. Nic also communicated on what to expect, delivery time of the materials and followed up to see how we thought things were going. It was a great experience. Use Tacheny for your up coming projects! Tacheny Exteriors recently replaced the roof on my house, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the entire experience was exceptional. Blady, Tyler P., John, and the rest of the crew were incredibly professional and exceeded all my expectations. What really impressed me was their support for veterans. They worked with me through a program called Purple Heart Homes, which helps veterans with homeownership. Finding openly patriotic companies today is always refreshing, and to me, it shows that they care more about getting paid. When you give a damn, your work tends to better. As such the team not only delivered a top-notch roofing job, but they also went above and beyond in terms of cleanliness and attention to detail. They left my property even cleaner than it was before they arrived, which is a rare and much-appreciated touch. Abbey was so great to work with! This was my first big home project and I know nothing about siding. Really appreciate the help from Abbey selecting the right siding at the right price for me. Jorge and the rest of the crew were absolutely amazing! They did such an awesome job and my house looks so beautiful, I cant even believe it! Every single person Ive interacted with at Tacheny was great - they are all great at their jobs and you can tell they love what they do - thats a rare find. Nick, Bledi and Brian kept me in the loop with any changes or hiccups during the job (all hiccups were minor and did not slow down the job). I have worked with Tacheny Exteriors twice, with the two jobs being done about 10 years apart, in houses in two different neighborhoods.I have found them to be very fair and responsive, but most of all, they do good quality work. Carlos and crew were very thorough and Sam followed up regularly to ensure the quality was top notch.I am especially appreciative of Nyky and Theresa in the office as they were instrumental in escalating any issues that surfaced, as well as keeping me informed of progress throughout the project.I had roof, window, siding and gutter replacement work done and would highly recommend Tacheny Exteriors to anyone needing similar work.After a large storm, I noticed a leak in one of the windows Tacheny had installed for me 3+ years ago. Paul came out and after reviewing the situation, was able to resolve the issue with some caulking. He also let me know that if the issue crops up again, he has additional measures he can take that are supported by the workmanship warranty provided to each customer. Great to have the peace of mind that Tacheny Exteriors stands behind their work long after its completed !!

I carefully evaluated three different roofing companies to handle the hail damage I suffered. I chose Tacheny Exteriors and am very glad I did. They are excellent with their communications, and were professional, prompt, reliable, and on time throughout the process. They did a great job picking up every day and leaving a clean worksite (a pet peeve of mine). And when finished they fully scoured the property and left behind no nails, construction material, or other miscellaneous detritus anywhere. Our re-roofing project was complicated. One company spent 1/2 hour, sent an estimate and then asked to discuss our particular request. That was when I contacted Tacheny Exteriors. A totally different experience. There was a deep analysis of our particular roofing needs with numerous experts involved and discussing of the structural needs as well as the aesthetics. It was a long process but they stayed with us, kept the project on track , kept us informed and involved in problem solving . During the re-roofing the many people involved were clearly committed to the project. They respected my landscape and other structures of the house. Everyone was valued and respected for their contribution. Designer variations were added to the roof giving us a unique and custom roof that improved the whole look of our house yet maintained the french countrydesign. I recommended them to a neighbor and their roof was completed the week ours was finished! WE LOVE OUR ROOFS! More importantly we believe we had the people committed to our project from start to finish with pride of workmanship and customer service that is unmatched in my experience. Ten Stars to Tacheny and grateful to have worked with Josh and Marco. From simple to complex these are the best people!

We were in need of a new roof really badly. Contacted a few places but Tacheny stood out. When they came out they inspected the roof and gutters and gave us a quote within a half hour. We ended up only getting our roof done, but we have the estimate for the gutter in case we decide to replace it with them in the future. Within a few minutes we were accepted for a loan and had our installation date set. The workers came out and knocked the job out in less than 2 days. The end result looks beautiful! I would definitely recommend Tacheny for any exterior project you need done!

Tacheny replaced a gutter that another company had originally installed. Now its pitched correctly and is securely installed onto the house!! They installed a great storm door that looks great and works like a charm. They also retrofitted new cedar shakes onto the sunny side of our 1912 house, leaving the other old shakes in place. This was more of a challenge because of the need to blend old with new, the materials used were different and the flared shape of part of the house was uncommon. There were quality issues to deal with regarding the shakes but, as usual, Dave Preble was very responsive and helped us work everything out. Installers were friendly and helpful.

When needing to replace our roof, we asked around for referrals from other people and had several recommendations with Tacheny being one of the top 10 and one of three we had come out for estimates. Tacheny came highly recommended. We chose Tacheny to eplace our roof and we are extremely happy with the results!Blake, the rep was prompt and accurate with his communications with both us and his on-site crew supervisor, Walter. They both communicated well with regard to specific project details (what they were doing) and responded to our questions. We asked them to remove the completely blocked & ineffective gutter guards and they did that without issue. Walter and his crew where ethical, fair and great at cleaning up. They even added multiple water run off diverters that did not exist before. Both Walter and Blake made an extra effort to ensure our and their expectations/terms matched and even exceeded ours! The crew was polite and hard working and used proper safety tie downs (our roof is steep!).Tacheny, Blake, Walter and his crew did a great job with everything! We hired Tachney Exteriors to replace our cedar siding with Hardie Board. Our sales person, Dody Engle, represented her company and its products well. If we asked her a question and she didnt have the answer, she would always get the answer and get back to us. She was very timely in her responses also.The timing given to us for the project to begin was fair and they actually started a little earlier than expected. The workers were very nice, very professional, and very knowledgeable about the job. They did excellent work and it was obvious they took pride in the job they did. The communication was also very good.We would highly recommend Tachney Exteriors for replacement of siding. Our experience with Tachney has been great. John Thoni contracted new covered gutters with tip up end pieces that can be moved up for mowing and reset after. Tachney replaced our gutters on our house and our garage. Everyone we worked with from the receptionist, sales representative, and installers was wonderful. Greg the gutter installer doubled back to check that the gutters were functioning well and he made adjustments to give the best outcome. Once this job was done we had new concrete steps poured at our back door. The concrete company damaged our siding and could not repair it. We called Tachney again, and Kurt came out, took measurements, crafted the materials needed and repaired the siding. He also went above and beyond by finishing off the installation of the wood on our porch stoop. Amazing service. We will call Tachney again with any future exterior needs.

Victor was at my house within about 2 hours of initially spotting the leaks.. he was not only extremely courteous considering the current situation, but he was also thoroughly prepared. We communicated through video chat, texts,and pictures so we could adequately address the problem while also staying safe. He was friendly and professiknal. Tacheny was able to do it within a few days, when the other companies stated it would be four to six weeks. The roof vent looks good. They did a really thorough job of cleanup. Last summer we had Tacheny Exteriors install gutters on our family home. Being a Prairie Style build, we required a special install which included wedges to hold them up in place. Their salesman could not have been more informative and upfront about all the information we needed. Because of the special install, they cost slightly more than regular which they indicated was the case on their first estimate. The crew installing them were nothing more than professional! With our garden spanning the entire length of the house, they took the time to make sure no plants were damaged, and went out of their way to move our mini statues and decorations. After completing the install, they had us come out to inspect their work and make sure it was up to our standard before putting all of the decorations back in the exact spot. We could not be happier with how they turned out! You truly cant even notice them! We highly recommend them for any of your exterior needs. From the upfront estimate to the quality of their work, they went above and beyond all expectations!
