    The plumber was friendly and communicated well with us. He listened to the history of the problem and explained that he would first troubleshoot it. He then explained what the cost would be to proceed, we approved that, and he started the troubleshooting. He ended up running a scope to locate where the problem was located. He showed us pictures of the problem and described the issue. We asked what the solution would be and he explained that as well.He then gave us an estimate for the repair work. We told him we wanted to go ahead with the repair. He checked the work schedule and said they could begin in two days. He was careful to explain everything, was courteous, and professional. In very little time the plumbing issue was resolved and the bathroom was useable again.In just one visit, we had a diagnosis, a repaired fixture, and a permanent corrective repair lined up all within the next two days. Truly amazing!

    Tyler was kind, quick, and explained everything thoroughly. The price was high, but thatā€™s not a surprise for a Saturday emergency plumber. I was really pleased with how quickly he got here, and how quickly he was able to finish. I would definitely contact Just Better in the future for plumbing emergencies.

    Call to have a ceiling fan replaced. They came out the next day to do the work during the timeframe it was scheduled. The technician was pleasant and efficient, did a great job installing the new fan. Reasonably priced. Would definitely use them again.

    I called at 6:30 in the morning for an emergency with my grinder pump not working and Lee was at my house by 7 am. Got things going and Rob was here by 8:30 with a new pump and floats, the whole job was done before 1 pm so I was very happy to be able to take a shower before work. They both were very professional and clearly let me know what needed to be done and got it fixed efficiently and quickly. I was worried because itā€™s almost Christmas and I am going to have a house full. I always call just better home service for all my plumbing needs. Thanks guys!! Merry Christmas!

    Arrived when promised. Plumber was a very friendly guy, sorry I donā€™t remember his name. He did a great job on my emergency plumbing issue. Pricing was upfront before he did any work.

    Just Better was responsive, scheduled us right away, and even called and asked if they could arrive much earlier than expected. The answer was ā€œYes, absolutelyā€. Lee arrived and diagnosed the problem right away, and had it fixed within the hour. Reasonable prices, and excellent service overall.

    Everything went perfectly well from start to finish , Nothing in my home was touched and everything was installed correctly. Mauricio was very engaging and friendly , but not to the point of being unprofessional. rather enjoyed our conversations and he was VERY understanding of my dogs nervousness and wasnt bothered at all very respectful hardworking man and I would welcome him into my home anytime.     Again, just better great setvice this time plumbing, hooked up my mo and flow!Just again in April on 2024, Brad-Electrical, Cory-HVAC and Rob-Plumbing, did Awesome work on my HVAC and outside unit, Brad installed an amazing 25 setting talking door bell very very cool and Brad took time to show me how it worked. Rob went again above and beyond with plumber cleared filter please put in cut off valve where needed which he did not need to do, thank you as well. Great job to all and to Jennifer and staff. I highly recommend Just Better Home for your everyday needs, thats a fact. And last I signed up for Home contract with these people to be covered for a year, great family. Thank you Janon

    This is the second ( but not the last) time that I have used Just Better and Corey was the one who came and serviced my HVAC. Very reasonably priced and he showed me how to keep the coils clean. Also showed me a few tips on maintaining the furnace. He was prompt courteous and efficient. And Just Better really is better than any other plumber/heating and cooling service around

    I called for help with my Hot Water Heater. They politely answered the phoneā€¦A+. They came when they said they wouldā€¦.A+. They fixed the problemā€¦.A+. Even though my water heater is old, they said it looked in pretty good shape and didnā€™t try to sell me a new oneā€¦.A+. They showed me a slightly leaking pipe (ready to go) and then fixed it and the cobbled mess around itā€¦.A+.whatā€™s not to like!

    I was experiencing an electrical issue in my home that caused me to have no hot water/heat/air for a weekend. I called Just Better Home Services and they were able to fit me in same day. Brad was the electrician who did the diagnostic and install and he was excellent. He talked through everything with me, explained the issue thoroughly and while we had to wait for Dominion offered to check/fix any other issues I was having while we waited. The issue at hand was a major repair which took the majority of the following day and Brad and the other technician from Just Better Home Services were wonderful. Definitely recommend, Jennifer is very helpful as well!

    Just Better Home Services came when we had an emergency, got our well pump working and devised a plan with quote to fix it and the tank. They came in and redid the well pump and pressure tank in 1 day. Very nice and courteous, cleaned up and took away the old part. Very satisfied with their services.

    I was pleased that I could get a plumbing fix on a Saturday. JB Turner arrived when he said he would. He was polite and friendly. He did a thorough inspection of the problem before taking care of it. I appreciate that he explained what he was doing in terms I could understand. He also gave a price quote on what it would cost to replace the old toilet with a better one. The weekend dispatch fee was high, but worth it to get great service fast. When it comes to plumbing companies, I think theirs is just better.

    Our hot water heater went out and we called Just Better Home Services. JB the plumber was here the next day with a tank on the truck and installed in no time. It worked great but he did recommend that we change out one of the wires leading to the tank. We called the company again for an electrician and Billy came out right away. He had the inspector here the next day and all is fixed the proper way. This company is great from the staff that schedules to the techs in the field.     My main service line burst unexpectedly of course. I googled Just Better Home Services which happened to be near me (Chesterfield, VA) and they sent Caleb out within a couple of hours. Caleb(Service Technician) Was very empathic, professional, and knowledgeable. He gave me several options as to how my problem could me handle, as well as offered financing options too. Long story short I was approved for financing and as promised Just Better Home Services were installing my new service line before I was up for work.     Went downstairs on a Friday night to discover a leaking water pressure reduction valve. Being it was late on a Friday night, I didnt have much expectation of a company being responsive. But, Just Better Home Services exceeded my expectation. They would have come right then, but I didnt think the leak was bad enough and that Saturday was quick enough. They did come Saturday morning, as promised, at 8 AM. JB did a great job, including adjusting the pressure. I highly recommend Just Better Home Services!

    My repairman, Rob, was very professional and helpful. He kept me informed about his arrival time and was able to figure out the problem right away. After he picked up the necessary parts, he got to work and completed the job very quickly. Rob was also very neat and did not leave any mess behind. He was able to get my faucet and disposer replaced the same day, which I really appreciated, since Thanksgiving was just a few days away. Definitely recommend.

    Ive used a variety of plumbers over the years as I havent had much luck with local plumbers. Last plumber with a different group was out about a month ago to fix a pressure valve leak. Noticed this inlet pipe was getting water seeped in and asked him about it and he said he could put some silicone around it...I said sure lets do that...which he just slapped around it. Well not even a month later the silicone was separating from the wall and moisture was coming in again. Called Better Home Service and Corey S. was super knowledgeable and friendly. Confirmed it was ground water and applied some hydraulic cement. The quality of workmanship between the two plumbers is very different (Picture with leak after prior plumber). Corey S. did recommend some additional work on the outside to better sandwich the seal, but opted for the inside option for now. Was happy to get a quality plumber finally, that was not only knowledgeable, personable, but also meticulous. If your in the Preddy Creak neighborhoods or surrounding areas worth it giving them a call. The work seems of good quality compared to rushed work from other plumbers I have gotten.

The lady I spoke with on the phone was prompt, friendly, and efficient in scheduling an appointment for our clogged kitchen drain. Our tech J.B. was the bomb!! He knew exactly what to do, how to do it, and got it done; all while taking great care and respect in our home! He was also down to earth, easy to talk to, and provided valuable insight on how to maintain our plumbing needs, i.e. drain enzymes that fight off grease buildup.I highly recommend Just Better Homes and if they take requests, ask for J.B.!

    Our toilet was clogged very badly,( probably due to our four year old putting something down it that he wasnt supposed to) after trying to unclog it ourselves without success I called just better home services.     On Friday, April 26th, we lost water to the house. After calling one company, which I will not name, and being told the soonest they could come out would be Monday, I called Just Better Home Services and placed and emergency request.Later that day, a technician arrived, identified the problem, which was a leaking pipe from our Well, and fixed the leak. This should have restored water to the house. Since water pressure was not sufficient, the technician check and identified that our ā€œwell pumpā€ needed to be replaced and gave us an estimate for replacing the ā€œwellā€ pump.On Saturday, April 27th since we still did not have water, I contacted Just Better Home Services and accepted the estimate to replace the ā€œwellā€ pump. Later that day, the same technician arrived with and assistant and replaced our ā€œwellā€ pump ā€¦ this job took 6 hours ā€¦ and we had water restored to our house.Just Better Home Services staff and technicians did an excellent job and they will have my business from this day forward and I would recommend them to any one that needs service.

    I had a friend that came to visit me from out of town and my toilet would not fill back up once it was flushed. The fill valve was replaced a couple months ago so I didnā€™t think this would be the issue. I was told recently that my cold-water line has low water pressure. So, I wasnā€™t quite sure what the problem was. I called Just Better Home services in the morning and by noon TD showed up discovered multiple issues. Iā€™ve had water issues since my home was built a year and a have ago. Itā€™s a comfort that my water is now working properly. TD also took the time to explain each issue and what needs to be done to fix them. I would recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

    Corey took the lead on a job to replace our HVAC system, as well as, installing a whole house surge protector, and Chris was assisting on this hugh job. Even though it was time consuming (ten hours) with a need for a lot of attention to detail, they both remained cordial and engaging the entire time. We really appreciate that Jennifer suggested their maintenance service plan. It was during that service plan visit that Corey discovered several burnt wires inside the HVAC unit! To which he was amazed, it had initially checked out as functional and was still working. Our amazement was that God had kept us safe from a potential disastrous fire! We count it as a blessing that of the five vendors I had contacted, Just Better Home Services was the one I chose.Highly recommend!!!

I had a new water heater installed and operational by noon! My technician was professional, prompt, courteous and attentive to details such as the potential mess involved. I had been contemplating a new HVAC system before this event and the quote he gave was much more reasonable than the others I received back in the fall, so we went ahead and scheduled a new HVAC install.     Scottie, Caleb and the rest of the team (sorry I dont recall all names) did an OUSTANDING JOB installing the HVAC system for the ground floor of our home.It involved installing brand new ducts and cutting holes in our hardwood floors throughout for the vents. They were very attentive and made it look like the newly installed vents have always been there. They also managed to avoid having to cut the sheetrock of the ceiling in the finished portion of our basement to make the connections to the condenser unit installed outside. Earlier this summer they sent their HVAC tech who resuscitated my AC unit and its working like a charm. Thanks!I bought an old house last summer that needed a lot of repairs due to deferred maintenance and aging pipes. Every drain in the house was clogged. I had three different plumbing contractors out to unclog the drains, but instead of even trying to unclog the drains, they all gave me estimates to do more extensive work costing thousands of dollars. Then I called Just Better Home Services and Jon Bryant came out and went right to work unclogging the drains for a very reasonable price. Heres my plumber, I said, the one who actually unclogged the drains! I had him come back to replace the aging, corroded and leaking faucets in 3 bathtubs/showers, including one that required a lot of demolition work. He was able to source difficult-to-find hardware compatible with the age of the house. He replaced a bathroom sink. I also had him move the washing machine to a different location in the basement, requiring rerouting of supply lines and drains. All of the work was completed on time as promised. Jon is friendly, with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude. I highly recommend him, and Just Better Home Services for getting the job done!

Caleb diagnosed the problem to be a failed thermostat and installed a replacement. He also added a whole-house surge protector for us to avoid any future power surges.
