    The plumbing technician Randy did a superb job in fixing the sewage line. He spent many hours cleaning and redoing it to make sure it was right. Then the video images verified it. We are very happy with his effort. He came back 2 weeks later to diagnose a kitchen water leak and installed a new faucet. He further cleaned up the very large mess in the cabinet.

    They came out on New Years Eve to clear 4” of water from our basement which was a total godsend. They had to come back a couple days later to clean the drain and replace the water heater. They’re good but I feel their prices are high. I had to get the work done right away but otherwise I would have checked around for lower prices.

    Great service and response time! I contacted them for a clogged drain and they scheduled me for their next available timeslot. They kept me informed at all times when their guy would be arriving.Randy L was very professional and, upon assessing the issue, let me know the options I had and the cost associated with each alternative.     I was EXTREMELY PLEASED with this company. The plumber was professional, friendly, seemingly honest. As a woman, this is not my field of expertise. I expected the runaround and astronomical cost that I did not need as it turns out the plumber kept things real & uncomplicated. The plumber did not take it vantage of my lack of knowledge.I thought the company was trustworthy, which is very important to me, and the quality of their work was outstanding.     In Royal Oak sometimes we get water in basement after big storms. Had some water this morning and figured it was from my leaky basement. I was wrong came home in afternoon to dishwasher was leaking,laundry tub not draining. Called Northwest and they had a plumber on the scene in 20 minutes. He did a great job and snaked and snaked until it was clean and flowing freely.

    I discovered my sump pump motor was burning out around 8:00 this morning. I called Johnny immediately and received a return call within 20 minutes. He set up a same day appointment and Randy arrived about 1:45. By 2:30 he had our sump pump replaced. The same model this company installed over 5 years ago. At that time, Johnny advised they have a 3-5 year life span. My sump pump runs year round, sometimes 15-20x/day so I was surprised it hadnt conked out earlier. I was impressed with how fast and easy the replacement went. Pricing is up front and transparent. No offers of good, better, best options or trying to lock me into service plans I dont need. Old school, high quality work with the modern day convenience of text alerts when the plumber is on the way. Thank you Johnny and Randy!Adding an additional comment of praise for a separate service call. I discovered my garbage disposal leaking when the dishwasher was running. I called NW Drain the following morning at 8AM, and by noon the same day I had a new disposal installed as the old one had rusted out.     Used them for a Garbage Disposal Issue. It was leaking but just ended up replacing the whole thing. My tenant mentioned the technician was very kind and I was kept in the loop on arrival and services completed.For some reason, their pricing for installing a Garbage Disposal was $425!!! And they also have a random service charge which is $39 as well. No indication as to why, and it had nothing to do the with the actual work performed. I bought the disposal my self, and had it shipped to the property. Its just a few bolts and reattaching a few hoses to my understanding....Seems overpriced to me but they were kind and I care about my tenants... so.. It is what it is.

    These guys responded to my call and were out the next day. Randy used 3 different size cutters to clear the tree roots from my sewer line.     Awesome experience. I called to schedule service, and Johnny was at my house in under 2 hours. Brought them out to get a second opinion on some work quoted from another company.     We started hearing a noise in the basement right above the kitchen sink whenever the sink was in use and was concerned about a potential leak. We found Northwest Drain Station on Yelp and they sent someone out the same day. Randy was great, did a very thorough inspection and found that the issue was the pump connected to the water heater. A small hole in the wall of one of the rooms needed to be created and he neatly covered it up after the fact. They also shopped around several stores to find us a replacement pump at the best cost and completed the pick up and installation same day. We’re very happy with the service and would recommend them!

    We used Northwest Drain Station for a sewer scope on a house we are purchasing. Johnny was communicative and professional. He explained everything he was seeing in the sewer line all the way out to the city main. When there were issues, he gave recommendations for rectifying them.     I am selling my home and the buyer had the sewer pipes assessed by his own company and saw debris and some roots (expected in Royal Oak). The buyer asked that it was taken care of which is reasonable; that is when I called Northwest Drain Station. Johnny came out the next day and did hydro jetting and cleared the lines beautifully. He took before and after videos and provided a USB with the video and a warranty to give to the buyer. He was friendly and professional. The buyer was not happy with the after video, as there was a small root that was jetted and floating down the line; Johnny was happy to talk to the buyer and explain that it was small and expected and that it was not a problem and that he felt comfortable giving a 3 year warranty. The buyer was not happy with the explanation. Johnny came back and did another video showing the clean pipes from the house to the city sewer, he explained everything and took his time and provided a second video. With each phone call, he was quick to reply and very helpful. He also kept the working area clean. I would recommend Northwest Drain! Thank you!

    Living in a well treed city, dealing with roots in your sewer line is very common here. I have had many snake jobs that did ok for a year or two but a sewage backup in our laundry room did us in. I called Northwest and they were prompt, did what they said, and cleaned the sewer line well. Not only did they go toward the house but all the way to the city line. You would think this would be normal, I assure you not everyone does this. It takes time. Time is money. I get it, but clean is clean. So I paid a fair price to have them use their huge water jet pump and really clean it. I have to say, they took the time required and did a great job! They showed me the screen while running the color camera several times to make sure they got it all, I even received an email copy of the file.Thanks Northwest for your help! Doing well several months later.

The servicemen was knowledgeable, they took time to explain the house drain system in layman terms that made me feel that I was in good hands and the job would be done correctly. I will be 70 years old in a few months and talking with your servicemen made me feel like I was back in Alabama growing up where a man word meant you could take it to the bank.     Main sewer line Hydro Jetted - I was HAPPY with the speed / response from call to scheduled date, professionalism in explaining the issue and the end results of the drain being cleaned. The camera video of the line with commentary was nice as well.But upon further inspection was NOT HAPPY when I noticed the marring that took place on the door jam molding (16 of chipping and worn paint) leading into the unfinished part of my basement from the tubing used to clean. I was able to throw some wood putty on there, sand and repaint but still should not have occurred . Additionally the job would have benefited from a tarp being dropped over our wood stairs, some marks would have been prevented from the equipment being brought into the house. overall good job, but more care with the equipment being used is needed for future customers.

    With all the rain a few weeks back, the sewer line began to back up into my basement on a Saturday morning. Past experience tells me this is due to tree roots, and it is near impossible to get anyone to come out on a weekend, or more so during COVID. John from Northwest Drain Station went out of his way to accommodate me that day. He was prompt and very professional. Using video camera and pressure wash, he eliminated the tree roots from the sewer line and gave a full inspection. At some point I will need to find a more permanent fix for the invading tree roots, but their warranty has me covered for the next two years. The only downside on the service was the high pricing, but I knew that going in. Considering the professionalism received, I guess you get what you pay for.

    I live in Royal Oak and have a large maple tree close to the sewer line. I have to get rooted at least once a year. I have used several different plumbing services and Northwest Drain Station has done the best job by far. Randy is very thorough and offers helpful advice on how to keep my drains open

    I had my sewer line hydro jetted recently. Both guys were great to work with. After the initial run, I watched with them on the camera screen as they brought the hydro jet back foot by foot checking for, and removing any missed roots. Nice job.

    My problem turned out to be an electrical issue not a plumbing issue but my guy still went around and made sure there was nothing he could do for me, verified my appliances were messed up, gave me the number of an appliance guy and didnt charge me for the visit.     Johnny and Calib are very professional and honest.Calib did sewer cleaning with Flex Shaft professionally and quality work. This is different process than water jetting. Result were good this process cut all roots in the line.Because this is much less hassel and economical process for plumber I was expecting they may charge less as compare to water jetting they did.But anyway they did quality work and I am satisfied with cleaning. Definitely hire him for all future plumbing.
