    DJ Murray has been snaking my main sewer drain for over 20 years. They always come when I call, and their cost is very reasonable. It is New Years Eve and my sewer backed up. I called DJMurray plumbing, Danny answered, and even though the office was closed, he came out and unclogged my drain. They are always there when I need them. They are reliable, honest, reasonable, and the only company I will ever need to use.

    We’ve had DJ Murray out to our house several times to deal with various plumbing issues in the past and are always happy with their work and professionalism. We called them this time for a problem with our hot water heater. Dan squeezed us in on short notice and, though it wasn’t something he could fix at the time, he recommended someone affordable who was able to do it, and didn’t charge us for the service call.     DJ Murray Plumbing has been servicing my place of employment for years. They have always been great to work with. I have had them over to my house a couple of times. Once for a tree root issue that was causing back ups in my house and another for a gas line issue when I got my kitchen redone. Currently, they will be changing out my laundry tub & updating the old plumbing. I highly recommend them. They are honest, reasonably priced and do excellent work. You cant go wrong, great company!

    I have used DJ Murray several times over the past years and they are always friendly and responsive. Lets face it, nobody really wants to spend money on drain snaking, etc. But - when you cant flush a toilet, or you can swim in your basement, you need a plumber. This time, the solution was to water jet my drain after having it snaked almost every year. It seems expensive at first, but these guys are pros they will jet your sewer line back to like it was when it was new and run a camera through to make sure every root has been cut right out and the pipe is smooth again. Its a bit like insurance, its expensive - but now I know I dont need to worry about that drain again. You can see by the pic below the roots that were still in the pipe after snaking it. I didnt take an after photo because it was pretty un-interesting as it was just a very clean pipe. Thumbs up to Dan and Tony as well as the rest of the team that tried snaking it before the water-jet.

    Very professional company! I called because I had a frozen pipe in my kitchen.     I called DJ Murray to address a non operating sump pump. I called mid day and the receptionist told me to expect someone within two hours. Two plumbers, Dan and Tony were out in an hour to assess the job. Both were friendly, informative, hard working (Tony got soaked at our house putting tools away during a rain storm and still went onto another job at 7pm!) and showed great integrity in solving our sump pump issues.     Friends, let me tell you my tale of woe. I was doing laundry in my basement when suddenly a fountain of water started coming in from the floors drain pipe. I was shocked and terrified. I called a ton of plumbing companies to see when I could get someone out to my home to help investigate and solve the issue at hand. After many phone calls of plumbing companies telling me that it would be days before they could send someone to my home, I called DJ Murray plumbing.The line rang twice before a nice lady answered & listened to my story. She then asked me for my information, where I lived, my address, etc. She said Okay, I can get someone over to you in the next hour. PRAISE BE!!! Literally, 30 minutes later there was a knock on my door.I explained what was going on to the gentleman who came to my rescue & he instantly got to work. He quickly was able to identify the issue and proposed a few solutions. Each solution, he carefully explained to me & was very thorough. Even when I asked questions, he had very thoughtful and sound responses to them. I felt respected, heard, understood & comfortable with him. He was fantastic.The next day, three men from the DJ Murray plumbing team came to my house & resolved the issue within an hour. They even came in under what they had originally quoted. The responsiveness, respect, and understanding that I got from this team went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend their services to anyone facing plumbing or piping issues. I can sleep easier knowing that I have their number in my phone if any other problem ever occurs.     Ive used D J Murray Plumbing for 5 different jobs and have not had a bad experience with them. Professional, honest, on time and affordable. Theyve given me good advice while on the job to save me money. Ive also never had to clean up after they leave.Tonight I had my hot water tank stop working at 6:30 PM. I called and explained what was going on. They figured out the problem by asking me a couple questions. They politely refused payment and told me to call back if I had any further issues.     I needed a shut off valve replaced at the main, needed to coordinate with city to shut off water for the repair and to turn the water back on when repair was finished. My sewer line was fully blocked with roots which required additional attention, they arrived within the time frame, fully explained the procedure they were doing as well as gave me a camera view of the line during and after the procedure.     Dan and his associate were incredibly professional and available for a next day job for hydro jetting our sewer line.     While trying to do a repair on a leaky faucet I broke the hot water line connection to my bathroom sink. Not just the line, the pipe that goes into the wall. A simple repair turned into a more serious problem since the only way to shut off the water was the main supply to the house. It was late afternoon and a plumbing issue I wasn’t able to fix.I called DJ Murray. Within 2 hours a plumber arrived at our home and promptly fixed the problem. Explained the problem to DJ who said they could fix it. They came to my home within 2 days notice, on time, with the correct equipment and two employees who both knew what they were doing. They listened to my input, started the job and three(3) hours later I had functioning downspout drains, just like new.     Called DJ Murray to have a gas line moved to accommodate my new stove following a kitchen remodel. The location of the line installed by the builder would not allow my stove to be pushed back to the wall. It wasnt easy to find a plumbing company willing to do this type of work. Now my stove can be pushed all the way back to wall. The service was prompt, professional and first rate!

    We had a fantastic experience with this company. Once a year our basement backs up due to tree roots in the backyard. They explained the situation me and the different options I would have. When they came to clean and scope the drain, they went above and beyond. Afterwards I was given advice on how to prevent this from happening again.     I had a problem with a 1st floor toilet not flushing and after calling several Plumbing companies that were too busy to come out on Saturday, I found D.J. Murray Plumbing being recommended by my “NextDoor” APP. When I called, I was pleasantly greeted and told to expect their technician out between 3 and 5pm today. I did get a call from “Jody” (actually before the time mentioned) informing me he’d be out in about a half hour! Jody arrived within that half hour and went right to work on the problem. Within a half hour, he had the problem resolved! I was very pleased at his professionalism and believe the cost was appropriate. I highly recommend D.J.     During recent rainfall, I had some consistent flooding in my basement that I was able to diagnose as a blockage in my storm sewer, underneath the house. Two other plumbing companies offered estimates that included digging up the floor, which I had recently re-finished, for $3000+ (One of these had also tried unsuccessfully to snake one of the branches of my storm sewer system).I got a referral from my neighbor to DJ Murray Plumbing and they were able to make it over on short notice, the day before the other company was planning on digging up the floor; Within 15 min, they had taken a new approach to the snaking process and had my storm sewer draining water very rapidly. Thanks to DJ Murray, I was able to save my newly refinished floor, and 90% of the cost that had been estimated by the other companies. In the weeks since, I havent had any further issues w/ any flooding.Needless to say, I would recommend these guys to anyone in need of plumbing services.

    A few weeks ago I called D J Murray Plumbing on the recommendation of my HVAC Company to come out and do a few different plumbing jobs all of which have been an ongoing issue since I purchased my house last Sept. Problems were a sump pump draining out thru a PVC pipe on the side of my house onto my lawn (not code), an external sewer access line that was buried in an elevated flower bed (really stupid and not practical) both of these issues were taken care of immediately to my full satisfaction. Tony also made an emergency visit to my home for an unexpected clogged drain. while he was at my house he used a camera to check out my sewer lineand he also scheduled my daughter for her line to becleaned and scoped which was also done today. they also replaced my sump pump drainage pipes “ which were about to fall apart. they were thorough, and I was so happy to have all these repairs completed in a professional manner. I will certainly use them for all my plumbing needs in the future.

We had a different plumber out the day before and he worked for 4 hours, charged a lot of money and said we would need to replace the sewer line. Him and Mick came over, and they were very detailed regarding the work I needed and WHY I needed it. They came over the very next day to perform the work, and they were just truly wonderful. I had several heavy pieces of furniture in their way that I couldn’t move myself-they told me don’t worry about it and moved what they needed (and put it all back!). They were very respectful in my house, and they cleaned up so nicely after the job was done. They made sure to let me see what was going on in my pipes, and you can tell they care about what their customers think. They also went over a nice care plan for me afterwards, which I love and think is very important for my house because it was built in the 1920s. I feel it was all very good advice and I can tell that Dan and his team really know what they are doing, and it helps that they were all so kind!     I had a back up in my basement and called that morning and they were out within 20 minutes. Tony was the guy that came and he worked for an 1 1/2 with the snake and said that there were to many roots and showed them to me when he pulled the snake back out (which he did twice) then he said he need to get the commercial grade snake and another guy which he came back within 20 minutes. Plus the poor guy needed a break. It took another 1 1/2 but after Tony and Steve worked back and forth they finally got it broke through. They are going to be the ones that I call every year because everyone else I have to come out has not been doing it right.

    I have only used DJ Murray once a few years back to snake out my drains. Two guys, sorry I cant remember their names did a great and thorough job with no problems since but I will be calling for the same service shortly. My latest experience was Sunday 08DE19 my son says theres a leak in the basement. It was a bad one it appeared to be coming from my toilet-I panic I wont EVER mess with toilet plumbing. So I call DJ Murray RO and explained my situation best I could he informed me $285 service call its Sunday again no toilet I dont care I need it fixed. He would send someone right away. no more than 10 mins Jody calls. He calmly questions me I brief him on whats happening and as Im doing this I discover water on my vanity sink- the faucet is shot! Jody explains and suggests some things I can do, and I can and did replace the faucet. Jody could have just showed up did the work taken my money and be on his way but because he took the time to talk and listen to me I saved a lot of money.
