I called them up, and they immediately put me at ease. The person on the phone was super friendly and assured me that help was on the way.A technician arrived later that day, which was a huge relief. He was incredibly courteous and professional. After taking a quick look, he figured out the problem: a faulty capacitor. He explained everything in simple terms, so I actually understood what was going on. Within an hour, he had it fixed and even took the time to do a quick check-up on the rest of the system to make sure there were no other issues.What I appreciated most was how the technician treated my home and me with respect. He wore shoe covers, cleaned up after himself, and answered all my questions without making me feel rushed. Had Pete out to discuss the quote and install of a Navien tankless unit to replace an older existing Navien unit and discuss whether or not to switch to a conventional hot water tank. He also looked at an existing Lokinvar boiler system for possible future preventive maintenance work.Petes pricing was fair, which was great. BUT, what sold me on having Pete do the work was not only his knowledge of these units, but his ability to explain the systems to me so that I understood the basic mechanics and functionality of the hot water supply equipment in our house. Great job Pete!

Comfort Pride Services is a very professional heating and cooling company that is recommended for both residential and commercial needs in the Western Suburbs. I was first introduced to Pete, the owner when I was left with a very tricky air conditioner issue from a tenant that moved out.Pete came out right away to evaluate the situation and made an effort to show me how my system worked. He’s very honest and knowledgeable in both old equipment and new. Where other contractors have charged me a service call and only recommended a new system, Pete has somehow managed to do a permanent repair. I have been a successful contractor for 25 years and I know one when I see one. You wont go wrong.

Perica (Peter) and his team were diligence in finding the right solution. They throughly inspected air distribution, air quality, which identify my root problem of some rooms having limited air flow. They redesign the return ductwork that allows for proper airflow balancing, ensures consistent comfort throughout the house. The new AC has made a significant difference and we are extremely thankful for them for installing the AC unit but what separates them apart is they went beyond to do the right thing of correcting air flow throughout the house. We highly recommend Comfort Pride Services!

I had previously been using Four Seasons to do my yearly furnace maintenance, but twice they had used scare tactics to try to convince me to buy a new furnace. So I was looking for a new company and did not know where to start. I sifted through reviews, and Comfort Pride seemed to have really good reviews and talked about good price and professional work.I am so glad that I went with them! Mitch replied to my online service request within a couple of hours, even though it was on a weekend. He was flexible, working with my schedule, and was even willing to come out later than his normal work time to accommodate my work schedule.The service he did on my furnace was thorough, complete, and he cleaned up everything perfectly.I asked his advice on how our furnace was doing, and the possibility of needing a new one, and he was extremely helpful and honest, not trying to get us to buy a new unit, but answering our questions about it and advising us that we do NOT need a new furnace at this time. He talked with us for a good 20 minutes, patiently answering all of our questions, and explaining things to us in a way that we could easily understand.I am so happy that I switched to Comfort Pride, I have only great things to say about them!

I had my furnace and AC replaced together using Comfort Pride Services. I was very pleased with how thorough Pete was with his consultation. It wasnt just about tossing in a new furnace and AC - he identified issues with my water tank flue that were only visible and accessible from behind the furnace, once it was removed, and addressed them while they had the space open. During install, Pete, Mitch and his team re-routed the gas and condensation lines behind the unit, instead of in front of it - farther than they may have needed to - because I was concerned with clearance in front of the unit, which is where my old unit had them running. The attention to, and follow through on, these kinds of details and the willingness to accommodate them was greatly appreciated, and I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for very high quality work - especially if youre a homeowner looking to stay in your home for a while.

I went out and got quotes from 5 other companies and additional advice from a few other HVAC folks regarding replacing my furnace & AC before I came across CPS. I decided to go with them to replace my furnace and AC because I could just tell that I was dealing with someone that cared about their work. I got a great deal; one of the better quotes, pricewise, and Pete and Mitchs work was great. They even back it with a 10 year labor warranty (you just get your yearly maintenance done through them). We purchased a smart thermostat that we tried installing yesterday evening and quickly realized we did not have the correct wiring to install. Unfortunately when we tried to put the old thermostat back on it was also not functioning. Pete responded right away and made time to stop here first thing in the morning. Our new thermostat is up and running. Pete made sure that it was working correctly and that all of our smart devices were responding correctly. He also changed our filter! We started building our new family home last year, and my GC said that his HVAC guy knows me. I wasnt too sure who it was at first. Then I found out it was Pete and his brother PJ. Who Ive happen to know for years.I was very pleased that my GC hired them to handle the install of our heat/hvac system. They installed a total of 6 units. 2 Heat, 2 HVAC, a garage heater, and radiant heat w/ boiler in the basement. It was very easy working with Pete, and coming together on what was best for our home (and to still stay within budget). When I saw them at the site, they were always focused on the job and kept a good work attitude. Even when I had dumb questions, they still treated me with respect and didnt stop until I UNDERSTOOD what they were saying. (Im what you call a construction illiterate)The 2 things that stood out with me the most is:1) After the install of every unit in the house. Pete explained to me IN DETAIL the operation of each unit, and the break down of what to do to maintain each unit to its fullest. Ive gained a lot knowledge about heating/hvac over the last year, and its all THANKS to Comfort Pride Services and its crew.2) I had a couple of subs doing some miscellaneous work around the house, and Pete and his guys stopped by to install the radiant heat boiler. The next day, the 2 subs and I were discussing the punch list they had completed. And BOTH OF THEM specifically said: whoever I had install the boiler, that IT IS some of THE BEST work that theyve seen, and the install was done with UNION level workmanship. (this was 2 tradesman talking)I am very appreciative of Pete and PJ for everything they did. Along with the rest of the staff @ Comfort Pride Services. They will be handling my maintenance from here, once in the fall, and once in the spring. :)

I just spent 3 days without heat from my boiler. The first company that came out couldn’t identify the problem. The second company recommended a whole new system after looking at the system for about 20-30 min, would take a week to get the “quote team out.” Still no heat!I gave Comfort Pride a call- Pete and Mitch came out same day of the call- within 7 minutes everything is functioning and he was able to explain how my system worked with great detail.Anyone that has a Boiler that needs it fixed fast- I highly recommend giving these guys a call.! Pete said he would be back with a new pump in the morning and install it. He was back in the morning and installed the new pump. Heat works perfect now!
