They came to my home on the date and at the time promised. A couple workers showed up early. I was impressed. How often does that really happen? They were all trained and qualified installers by the company, not contractors that l was unable to communicate because of language barrier. They did their job efficiently, expertly and meticulously. No goofing off messing with their phones. They were friendly and answered all my questions. When they left, there was no mess. Very pleased with my experience with Shine Solar.

I had been doing some research on solar power because i know that the cost of electricity goes up all the time and will always be going up. when Shine Solar and I talked they done an excellent of explaining it all to me. The took care of all permits and everything dealing with the installation. i was not home when the guys come to do the installation, but my wife was. We have two small dogs that we let out in our back yard to run around in the fenced in yard but because of the install taking place my wife was going to have to put leases on them and walk them. when a couple of the guys seen her, they said that they would be more then glad to walk them, and they did. my wife went on and on about what a great bunch of guys they were. they went about their job and performed a very nice and neat installation and cleaned up well behind themselves. The next day the guys came to blow the installation into the attic. wife had a doctors appointment and had to leave. when those guys were finished and had cleaned up, they called me so I could shut the garage door from my phone. when the power company came out top install the new meter, he told me that the eclectic rate was going up again the first of the year. So, another good investment. we are well pleased with shine solar and everyone involved in our installation. so if you want to get solar installed do yourself and your home a favor and call Shine Solar. You will NOT be disappointed.

I recently had solar panels installed. It was a lengthy process, but no fault of Shine Solar. They did all the footwork for permitting with my local power company. The installation team did an awesome job on the install. Very neat and clean looking. It did take Entergy of Arkansas quite some time to come out and throw the switch to energize my system.

Our experience was super easy and painless. From our first contact with our sales rep. to the install, to generating power, it took about 3-4 weeks. We live in the county so with no permitting needed, Shine got the job done in about 2 weeks. A week later we noticed a large drop in energy usage on our Entergy App. The panels were turned on and generating power! This is because they do not outsource anything. Everyone involved right down to the install crew is an employee of Shin. They will not try to over sell you, they dont work on commission. We didnt have any historical data since it was a new house, so Ryan recommended a smaller system and to re-evaluate next year to see if we need to buy more panels. Another Company tried to build us a much larger system that, without the data to go on, probably would have generated more power than we use. That sounds like a good thing except even with net metering your bill can never be $0, you still have the customer charge, and they dont pay you for over generating. You want a system that gives you enough credit during the day times to cover the non-sunshine hours, or gets close. If I had to do it again, I would choose shine.. If you decide to go solar let me know and I will refer you. You get Ryan as your sales agent and I get$300. And no I didnt write this review just to get the $300 LOL

Theyve been easy to work with, and kept us updated each step of our installs. They were on time and with you every step of the way and very helpful.Edit to original review.Its been almost a year now that my retired parents had this installed. Do more homework the biggest selling point was tax rebate, you dont get a tax rebate when you dont have taxable income such as retirement. Now the payments will go up even higher. I regret even suggesting solar!!

We had only really talked about solar and just wanted to see what the price tag would be. Shine Solar set up a time convenient for us and came up with a rough draft of where panels could go. We provided our usage history for the previous year and they built us a system that would produce more electricity than we use. Alex was great in explaining the build to us and Abbi has been great explaining the technical questions we have had.Throughout the process everything was well communicated. They have engineers who draw up the design and do all the talking and paperwork with your electric company.Install was smooth, no problems, cleaned up the work area when they were done.They’ve been able to answer any questions we have had and we recommend them to anyone that will listen!

Shine Solar has been great. Justin Collins and his team walked me step by step through the whole process. They always made sure I was fully comfortable and knowledgeable with every aspect. The installation of the system went smooth. The only hiccup came with the utility company delaying the new meter install past the date my first bill was due. But even though it was the utility companies fault, Shine Solar covered the first payment without me even asking. After the system went live they even had a follow-up meeting a few weeks later to make sure everything went as I expected. I couldnt have asked for a better and easier install. I have already sent a recommendation to a friend I love it so much. I would highly recommend anyone even curious about solar to contact Shine Solar as they answered all of my questions.

I won my solar panels through a contest from Shine Solar in conjunction with KFSM Channel 5. Shine Solar was very friendly and considerate, explaining all my options. I was given upgrade options but never felt pressured to take them. I was kept apprised of the process and progress all through the installation and switch over. Installation was done in one day. I was impressed with the efficiency of the installers and am very pleased with the results. They replace our roof. Once they was done your techs came back out to put our solar back on. The techs found out we needed another box in the attic and came back added it. Ever since then we have just been paying the electric company fees and nothing more for the past 5 months. Before that we had been paying more than the electric company fees. In January of this year, I started thinking about replacing my aging Heating and Cooling system. So what does that have to do with a Solar energy company review ? Well, alot. I had been listening to Shines radio commercials for a while, and i started thinking that if my number one driver of energy cost is my HVAC system, if I could combine a new high efficiency HVAC system with a solar array , i would gain even more value than just the proposition of solar alternative energy systems. Some folks are motivated to go solar by environmental reasons, some by financial reasons, I am motivated by both. Return on investment is the biggest driver of doubt to going solar. When I reached out to Shine, I was provided with many sources of information, and learned a lot about how Solar can truly be a value. Then I learned that they had recently acquired a local HVAC company so that they could combine a project into one System. This would allow the Federal alternative energy credit to include a percentage of the combined system total cost . That made my decision a no brainer. Not only do you get a completely custom solar solution, you get your house energy efficiency upgraded with LED lights and additional attic insulation. This shows the commitment to ensuring that your solar power system will eliminate or significantly reduce your electric bill to the point the system will easily return your investment. Moving through the install process with Shine is incredibly easy considering the complexity of becoming a net metering solar generation station with my power company. It is a team effort and their communication with clients is awesome. It is full disclosure. They have a great staff and pass your through the process seamlessly. My new HVAC is incredible , my house stays comfortable and I seriously have never heard it running. I showed it to my neighbor and we were standing 15 ft from it and it was actually running and we could not hear it. I am very impressed. Highly recommended to anyone looking to get out of high power bills due to an old HVAC system, or just someone looking to use alternative natural power without having to go into long term debt.

First went through Austin who explained the process and sold us the system. John followed up every step of the way. We had them install our new dual fuel hvac system, that crew worked extremely hard and did a great job. Nikki did the follow up call after the installation was completed, she was extremely professional and helpful. Our electric company who did the net metering were awesome too.

When we first decided that we needed to go solar we had a lot of options. From start to finish Shine Solar has been the best company for us. We were first contacted with a proposal on what Shine could do for us and how much it would cost. We had talked to Shine first so we didnt have any idea of what other companies could offer. We talked to other companies and they were way more expensive and their reps werent as professional or personable as the rep from Shine Solar. After we were committed to Shine they walked us through all of the process from financing to commissioning. They never has us feeling that we were abandoned or left out of the loop. Ill be honest with you. Getting panels installed and up and running probably wont happen overnight. They have to schedule your installation, permitting, inspections, commissioning, etc. It takes time, but Shine stays with you through it all. We were told we were the first installation in Tennessee. They folks that did our installation came in from Arkansas. Thats how serious Shine Solar is about their product and serving their customer. They didnt contract the work out to some locals. We are starting to see results on the sunny days and are looking forward to summer when the days are longer.Check out the rest of the competition. If you find something you think is better than Shine Solar then you go for it and good luck to you. I have no regrets about going with Shine Solar.

We were extremely happy with Shine Solar and our new solar panels from the sales process to the post connection meeting. They were very transparent and honest from beginning to end. Our salesman answered our questions in detail and provided a clear explanation of how going solar would provide savings over the life of our system. The account manager quickly set a date for installation, the contractors showed up early and our panels were installed before we came home from work. Finally, the post installation customer liaison brought everything to life by helping us get set up so we could see our system producing in real-time. We couldnt be happier!!

Shine Solar has been an awesome Solar Company for me and the family. Tad in sales was such a fantastic guy to work with at the beginning stages and was always readily available to answer any questions I had regarding our solar project during pre-phase. Shine was very professional and organized during the whole design phase and install process. After our panels were installed and paper work was filed it was a waiting game for Carroll Electric to inspect, approve and sub the meter which took awhile on their end. During this time Jean from Shine was my project manager and kept in touch with me almost day to day to keep up with our solar project to get our system operational and up and running as soon as possible. Once the system was finally turned on, Jean kept monitoring our system and noticed a couple of panels not functioning properly in which I never knew. Shine had scheduled a tech to come out to fix the problem the very next day. Shine Solar has a been a great company to work with and highly recommend them to anyone looking to go green! With all the discounts, guarantees, financing options, and useful system monitoring tech it was hard to say no to the opportunity to offset our energy usage. Got our first full months electric bill since installing solar panels. $10.45 and that was just a normal customer charge. In actual usage we now have a credit with the electric company. Shine Solar has been fantastic to work with throughout the process. I’m just getting started on my solar journey but I did just have the HVAC system installed. Kurt J, Chris A and Carter D were the guys that did my install and I was pleased with how it went. The initial day they made sure to stay as long as they needed to stay to have a/c back on asap since I have a baby in the home. Which was greatly appreciated. They did a second day to finish the install and tweak some small adjustments to make sure everything would be good to go. So far the process has been great and everyone I’ve dealt with has been so pleasant. They’ve been great at explaining and answering questions. Even if I’ve thought of something after the initial conversation. Everyone has been more than willing to take the time to explain or just make sure I understand. Which was very appreciated. Especially as a woman because some companies in these types of fields don’t feel they need to explain why just that it needs to be done. Starting out Shine was on top of things! They did the install on my solar panels and didn’t finish until after dark. In the morning I noticed they left little pieces of trash all over my yard…had to pick up so dog wouldn’t eat it. The only other issue is they removed my only electric outlet in my backyard and never replaced it. I’ve reached out multiple times but never get a good response. I also just inquired because it always seems that one out of the 4 panels in a section is always reading 50 watts less than the others. They claimed it was the shade but I don’t have any trees?? All in all they are a decent company but you will to stay on top of them sometimes.

Shine air had 4 days to do our install of a new Heil gas pack system. Due to this being an old house, they ran into complications. The 4th day, they ran into another complication. It became so dark, they didnt want to finish and possibly make the unit look like it was installed unprofessionally. So they returned for day 5 and it took them about 30 minutes to finish. We are comfortable and not using as much electricity or gas as we were. They are a great Oklahoma Team, and I hope they get a lot of installations from my area. I cannot find the words to compliment them enough on their professionalism, knowledge, and answering layman questions on the aspects of what we didnt understand. Also their dedication to making the install as painless as possible for us. With 5 dogs who needed to go outside where the install was happening, they would give us 10 minutes to take care of our animals which was every 3 hrs and took away from their time. We appreciate them so much and now consider the install team part of our family. To borrow a phrase from Tony the Tiger: Theyre GREAT!!! Before making our decision on which Solar company we would invest in we spoke with a few companies and after much consideration we chose Shine Solar. The Senior Energy Consultant we spoke with, Andrew, was very knowledgeable of all the aspects of solar energy including finance options. He clearly and effectively answered all the questions we threw at him. Once we signed with Shine Solar the team that came for the installation worked tirelessly to get the system installed and throughout the day the foreman would explain what they were doing. After the installation and the final inspection from our electric company we met virtually with Nikki the Senior Customer Liaison, she brought it home for us. TL:DR I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHINE AS A COMPANYShine did a great job with the installation and communicating with my utility company. The installation took only a few hours and the crew kept everything very clean. One of their customer service reps, Nikki, walked me through my summary documents and all the support I can expect from Shine going forward.After buying my house, I was interested in getting solar panels for two reasons, 1-take advantage of the 26% tax incentive (reducing to 23% in 2023), and 2-I am concerned about climate change. I got several quotes from providers in the area and figured out what I care about.What stood out to me about Shine was that they use an American manufacturer, they have and honored a guaranteed minimum production, they threw in energy efficiency measures, and overall they have been great to work with throughout the process.I’ve waited to write this review so that I could include some numbers. In 2021 compared to 2020 I saw a 16% reduction in my gas usage and a 26% reduction in my electric usage. The dollar value of my savings account for about 40% of my monthly payment for the panels.There was no down payment required to get the panels and Shine helped me get a loan.I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about Shine or the solar buying process in general.

Ive had my Shine Solar system operational for 10 days now, and am very pleased with the company. Every person that Ive dealt with in the company, from Sales to Concierge, has been very pleasant to work with. Any issue that came up, was promptly addressed and resolved. No project of this complexity can be expected to be problem-free in completion, so company reaction is very important, in my opinion.I live in Middle Tennessee, where solar is just getting started good. I have been planning on getting solar for thirty years, to the extent that when I built my current house in 1994, I made sure that I had a large roof area facing directly south. I research a number of solar companies before settling on Shine Solar. They were able to give me what I wanted - to include battery back-up for outages - for a reasonable price.The installation itself went without a hitch, and was done over a three day period. When the inspector from the electric company came for the final inspection and new meter installation, he praised the neatness of the installation.A big plus that I recently discovered is that when a Storm Warning is issued for my area, the system automatically switches to fill the batteries to 100% before using the produced wattage. When the Alert is canceled, it reverts to normal status.

They were thoroughly on top of everything they controlled and nobody can beat them at “customer communication”. They listened well when we discussed why we wanted Solar and how we wanted to use it. They gave us multiple designs to choose from (we selected one with ground mounted panels) and didn’t even blink when a few days later we modified that design to include additional batteries for backup power. They were ALWAYS available to answer questions during this time. I mean always! They answered their phones, returned calls on the few times I had to leave a message (it turns out they have other customers even though they treated us like we the only one) and when I asked detailed technical questions - they let me talk directly with their engineers and Master Electrician. Shine handled all permits and contacts with my local utility company and power generating company.They installed the system over a several day period in February during the worst weather (40F and rain), did a professional job of installation and left no trash to pick up. Thoroughly satisfied with this portion of the project.Any company is fun to work with when everything goes well but good ones can handle things when they don’t. Shine handled scheduling all the required inspections, unfortunately the inspectors don’t work for them and due to the inspectors backlog and multiple inspections required (both local utility AND Tennessee Valley) it took a while to get all inspections done. However, during this time, Shine was providing weekly updates (I can’t stress enough how good their Customer communication is) and keeping things on track as well as they could.The inspection of my fairly complex system resulted in several trivial “corrections” before the system could be commissioned. These included things like “placard size” and netting on the underside of the panels. These were corrected and reinspection performed, again ALL handled by Shine.Overall, I think Shine went above and beyond what we expected on this project. Every problem that came up was handled thoroughly, promptly and professionally and we were kept informed throughout the project. The employees were professional, courteous, pleasant and extremely capable.

Great service! From the moment of initial contact to the end result Shine Solar does awesome! I was refered by a friend who had already had the system for 5 years problem free and is very happy. I had many and I mean Many technical questions. My home does have a unique situation of zero attic ceilings and a lighting rod grounding system installed. The engineers and technicians were very diligent in all the details to ensure the best set-up. Very pleased with the response eveytime Ive reached out. Installation was quick, the installer took the time to ensure I was pleased with the exterior appearance. The online and app platform to monitor the performance works well. Overall I would definitely use them again and again!

Shine Solar was amazing to work with. They took the time to explain their solar program and how it works. The better your credit the better your monthly payment. On average, our solar and electric combined will be the same cost. We had everything installed and active in about 3 weeks. We had a point of contact through the whole process. My boss even signed up after I talked to him about it. They guaranteed us our solar would cover up to 75% of our power usage. If not, they cover it at the end of each year. Of course, the sooner you pay the panels off, the sooner you will really get the benefits of solar. You can pay them off early with no penalty.

We are loving our Shine Solar panels! We like being able to track the solar energy production in real time and comparing it to our electric usage on the app. Being able to see how much energy we are getting from the panels and using really helps us to be aware of our energy consumption. The installation team did a good job and were very efficient. We are well pleased with the quality of their electrical wiring. The process of buying the panels was fast and in some ways too easy. We felt like we were sold a product before ample time to really think. There is a three day cancel period after signing the contract but it took us about a week to come up with questions about what we were buying. We should have asked for time to think. Shine Solar DID accommodate us and adjusted what we were buying and the associated cost. Shine Solar sells you a complete package: Solar panels, HVAC system, insulation, LED lighting, etc. We did not need all of that since we had just built and our house was already well sealed and insulated. It would have been nice if Shine Solar would have done a site visit before completing the sale, so the package would have been tailored to our needs. Ideally, we would have loved to add Shine Solar to our building process and that would have eliminated our only complaint. We are glad we bought our solar panels from Shine Solar and we would use them again, if we were to need the panels installed at another home.

Shine Solar stayed in communication with us during our entire process. We endured Covid-19 changes delaying the process but overall they worked as quickly as they could to get our system installed. The installation crew were friendly and worked quickly to get the system installed. We had to have our meters moved and the electrician was very friendly and considered my opinions when moving the equipment. The app to monitor your system is user friendly and fun to mess with.
