This is an update on my one star review from last year in regards to a really terrible experience I had with this company. Although my experience that I had last year is comparable to most of the one star reviews you read here, they have cleaned house and are revamping the way they do things with a great deal of humility and care starting with their new generator technician who came to my house today for my once a year check up. Paul went above and beyond to assure me that I am in good hands from here on out and I believe they are in good hands having him on board! They have two new people in the office working very hard to ensure that all of their shortcomings from years prior will be a thing of the past!

The folks who came out to do the on-site work did a great job. I had Tyler Betts do the initial spin up and testing. We found that the generator came with a natural gas orifice that didnt work with propane. He promptly replaced with the propane version, retested, and everything has since worked perfectly.The 4-star rating is because the backoffice has inter-communication problems. We often found that messages and conversations with one person never made it into our file. As such, when we talked to a different person, they were not always aware of previous conversations. This made coordinating everything more difficult than need be. It also took us 13 months to get the generator we needed. While not the fault of the dealer, we never got a single status update call during this year long process.Although everything worked out okay in the end, it could have been a much higher quality experience with better communications.

We recently had our annual maintenance performed on our whole house generator. Our Service Technician; Justin Wilson, was Awesome!! He called first to confirm his arrival and then arrived right on schedule. He took care of all the maintenance items and then replaced the corroded battery that met its term. He did this all the while letting us watch and ask questions about the generator. After all that he cleaned everything up and left it a whole lot better than he found it. That’s the kind of service we appreciate!!

He was very knowledgeable and forthright about the difficult siting issues I am facing, and actually had some new ideas about alternatives locations I had not considered. After selecting the best location for the generator, Logan walked me through the various costs for installation, including those for the required extra lengths of gas pipe and electrical feeder conduit I need as a result on the significant distance from the respective meters. After our meeting, I was confident that the generator sizing and location were optimized, and that there would be no surprises in the quoted turnkey price for installation. As promised, Logan delivered a a complete proposal well within 24 hours. I look forward to doing business with Generator Superstore of Rockwall when generator availability becomes a little more favorable than the current supply chain conditions permit.

I bought a larger generator from the Supercenter. It was about 4 years ago. When they first installed it there were some issues. My machine is a Propane Powered Generator and most of them are set up for natural gas. They were having problems getting mine to work, so they brought in a Propane Installer who is an expert. They brought him from out of state - i believe. The Tech did an excellent job and got the generator where it needed to be. So, the service has been excellent from day one. Then about a couple of months into owning the generator the machine had some issues, warranty type issues. When the Supercenter Tech came out he ordered the parts needed and in very short order the Generator was working excellent again. So, once again i was very impressed with the service. Then last year THE ICE AGE STORM HIT DFW AND TEXAS. That is when I got my full payback on my Generator. My entire neighborhood here in Parker Texas did not have any electricity for around 7 days. But, my propane Generator worked day and night flawlessly -It ran my entire house with ZERO issues. Keep in mind I bought a bigger one than what you see at the Home Superstores. Mine cost around 10 thousand at the time. I was so so so so happy - that my Generator kept my family safe and warm during a very unusual ICE AGE STORM. It was worth every penny I paid for the machine. When the MAJOR STORM was over I called the Generator Supercenter and thanked them. I sent them 10 or so Pizzas as a thank you. That is how excited i was that my family did not have to be in the dark for 7 days. The folks at the Rockwall Supercenter are amazing and care about their work. They do excellent work and the customer service is amazing. I had to remain patient and let them get the machine dialed in but it was worth the wait. I recommend the Rockwall Supercenter highly. Also, if you get a Generator buy a slightly bigger one than you need. FURTHERMORE, buy the monitoring services - They test the machine every week via a cell connection to the machine and I get an email telling me it was tested and the results of the test. It is worth the price you pay for it. Once a week you know you are covered in case of an outage. Thank you Rockwall Generator Supercenter!! I hope you enjoyed the Pizza. I know my family enjoys having electricity whenever the lines go down. Which is fairly often in my area. If you are thinking about buying one. Just go on and do it. You will never regret having a backup plan, I promise you that. BUY the monitoring service, please. It has caught several issues with my Generator and has help to keep it in excellent condition. I also use the supercenter to do my maintenance as needed per their schedule. All of that combined has worked out excellent.

Generator Supercenter just completed my install this week. I never realized the complexity of getting a whole home generator installed between permitting, gas lines, through house wiring, working with the gas company for meter upgrades, and city inspections. The process takes multiple days and involves a numerous teams where coordination and promptness is critical to ensuring a timely install. In that regard the process at Generator Supercenter of Rockwall was flawless due to the organization of the office manager Denise. I can not say enough about how impressed we were with her and the degree to which her communication was prompt, professional, and and courteous. Additionally, the install teams were just as professional and accommodative, wearing masks while talking to me and in my home to ensure a safe environment fir my family due to the current Covid19 situation. I would be hesitant in choosing an installation vendor based on price alone as there are simply too many pieces to the installation process and I see how such an install could turn into nightmare . I recommend Generator Supercenter Rockwall and thank Denise and her Dallas based teams for getting the job done on time.

We ordered our generator through a major retailer who had Generator Supercenter in Rockwall contact us. A sales representative came to our home and reviewed all the pros and cons of a generator, as well as the optional monitoring service. He was very courteous, detailed and professional. Our 24Kw generator was just installed. Overall the process was extremely smooth (biggest delay was the manufacturer producing the generators due to covid and massive backlog from the winter storms). We dealt with Wendy from the back office regarding payments, schedules and a few minor hiccups. She was awesome and communicated with us quickly. The installers were very knowledgeable, arrived on time, answered all my questions while I watched, especially while the tied into our electric panel. It was a pleasure to see the installers clean up after the work was done. They also worked very professionally with our City Inspectors. The final step was the initial power startup. Again, the installer walked through the generator startup process, manually cut-over from City power to generator power, explaining the 5 to 10 second cutover delay and then the power down process after City power was restored - all so we understood what to expect during a power outage. The installer then answered all final questions and gave us the generator manuals and keys.Overall, our experience with all the people from the Rockwall store was very positive and we highly recommend them. They were all great people to work with - Thank you for an enjoyable experience.
