My wife and I hired Mathews Construction to remodel our master bath area which included new countertop, sinks, faucets, shower and bath tile, shower glass, lighting and exhaust fans. Eric and his crew treated us and our house with the utmost respect and professionalism, listened to our ideas and made it happen on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the results and so glad we found Eric to do the work ! I would not hesitate to hire him for any future renovation / remodeling work.

My husband and I hired Eric to remodel our outdated kitchen late 2020. He is very knowledgeable of older homes, as ours was built in 1959 and he was able to give us great recommendations. He listened to what our ideas were and he made them a reality. Some specifics of the project included removing existing tile flooring, having asbestos ceiling and dry wall removed, relocating plumbing, custom modern cabinets with custom paint color and more. Our kitchen turned out perfect. He even did a few extra things for us and really went above and beyond.

Eric did such a great job converting our window to a door. He was on time for our estimate appointment, and gave us a fair bid, and started the project on time and was able to finish under his estimated time frame. He came early, worked steadily, and even did a couple of extra things that went above and beyond the call of duty! He is really a nice person, professional and very qualified. Explained what he was doing, and why through the whole process. Highly Recommend Eric.

Eric and his crew are the ones you want to use. Eric is the man who will plan your project with you, and he is the one who will do most of the work, so your words and hand-waving are not in vain. Eric is a master craftsman. He is honest, reliable, trustworthy, competent, and efficient. He and his crew keep the workplace clean and trash-free as they go along. He calmly and sanely handles all the problematic issues that always come up in a remodel project. He keeps the project moving, does what he says he will when he says he will, and keeps you informed as to what is going on. Very easy to talk to, and he listens, right from the get-go. Paul, his cabinet man, is equally professional. Give Eric a call and discuss your project with him. Youll be very pleased to have chosen him to do your project.

When we wanted to upgrade our kitchen with granite and new cabinet facing, Eric Matthews at Matthews Custom Construction helped us get our beautiful kitchen. We were expecting it to take much longer because kitchen remodels usually take quite some time. Eric was able to take down and build up the whole kitchen in less than two weeks. The kitchen looks beautiful and the cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use Matthews Custom Construction for future builds and remodels and would definitely recommend his expertise.

Eric worked on several home-based projects for us, most notably a kitchen remodel.For the latter, Eric worked diligently to get the job done in good time and on budget. During the process he made several helpful suggestions to us, was protective of our interests, and was steadfast in adhering to the pre-determined budget.Erics work was first rate. He also kept in steady communication with us, followed through with any questions we had for him or others involved, was dependable, and conscientious when working inside the home.At the jobs conclusion, he carefully checked to ensure all components were in working order, answered all our questions, and made certain we were satisfied with the result.We were! His knowledge and skills resulted in a beautiful job, and we wholeheartedly recommend his services.

My family has used Matthews Custom Construction the past few years and found him to consistently provide top quality and affordable work. He built a higher fence to keep our dog from running away, fixed odds and ends inside our home, but my favorite was a beautiful wooden coat rack he created himself (pictures available upon request) for our home. Hes fast, professional, ensures the customer is heard, and exceeds expectations every time. I have zero reservations recommending his services.

Eric and his crew were awesome! Knovked down a bearing wall and put in a header. His crew was professional, on time, friendly, and truatworthy. What i loved moat was that they kept the work space clean throughout thw project. I will definitely be calling him for future work.

Eric Matthews has done numerous constructions jobs, both small and large, for me in the past 4 or 5 years. He done work for both my office and for me personally. I was really sad to see him move from the Monterey Bay area down to Southern California. As a General Contractor he is able to do many different things including construction, electrical, and plumbing.Erics work is excellent. He gives very reasonable and honest quotes. I have had instances where he quoted a price for a job but when he was able to do it in less time than he estimated, the final bill was less.I recommend his work with no reservations.
