Rich replaced my hot water heater. I was very impressed. He did an excellent job, was very personable, and stood by the quote he gave me. I could tell he loves what he does and wants to make sure it’s done the right way. He even helped me over the phone when I first called to make sure my old hot water heater was properly turned off. I would call him for any plumbing needs!

We cant speak highly enough of Rich and the work he did for us. He replaced our old hot water heater with a propane fuelled one. The end result has been excellent. He was also kind enough to replace a couple of faucets as an additional side project while he was here. From the start Rich was a consummate professional: he returned calls quickly, came out immediately and gave us a reasonable estimate, and then completed the job in a timely fashion. He will be a our go-to for all future projects. Highly recommend.

Rich replaced our hot water heater recently and did some other work for us a couple of years ago. Anytime Ive called Rich hes responded very quickly, he shows up on time, and if he says hes going to do something he does it. He always has a great attitude, too. Even when things dont go exactly as planned. I wont hesitate to call Rich for our next water heater.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Rich on getting two of my boilers replaced. Rich is extremely friendly, professional and thorough gentleman. He came over as soon as I called him, was very detail oriented with the work outline and the quote. He is technically brilliant and made very valuable suggestions that helped me get the most appropriate boiler for my house. He also helped me do the paperwork for the masssave rebate and loan program. His prices are very economical and the whole project was finished in a span of one week. I was extremely impressed with how the whole installation turned out. Both the boilers are running perfect. Also, He is very easy to talk to and makes himself available by text, phone and email that made the whole process very smooth. I contacted Rich in early November to replace a malfunctioning boiler/hot water combination unit. Rich was prompt to return calls, and provided an extremely reasonable estimate within a few days of our first contact. He then completed the installation, and although the install was harder than he initially expected, he stuck to his original estimate. He installed a Burnham cast iron boiler, with an HTP 60 Gallon Superstor and we have been very happy with the results so far, and very impressed with Richs installation and continued service.

Very, very happy! My water heater broke down and started leaking at the beginning of a long, holiday weekend. Googled water heater repairs in the Revere area and found Rich Mathews. He came right out the next morning and fixed me right up! Excellent work. Efficient, polite, thorough and honest. Id recommend him to anyone.

Rich is the most responsive plumber I have met. A solid professional whose depth of experience and knowledge can handle any all your plumbing work. Our job look like a straight forward electric water heater, but no, there were problems in evacuating old tank. Rich had all the tools to circumvent the issue. The work was completed in a timely fashion at a good and competitive price. I highly recommend Rich for any of your plumbing work

I have used Rich for over 10 years for various plumbing needs, including water heater installations. Rich is a real professional who not only loves what he does, does it well, but also really cares about his customers. Last night, my water heater kicked the bucket. I called Boston Water Heaters at around 9 pm to leave a message and Rich answered. Yes, he answered at 9 pm. Rich fit me in and came out today to install a new water heater for me. He came when he said and charged me what I knew to be a fair price. I will not use anyone else for this service. The care he has shown to me when Ive been in a pinch has earned him my loyalty as a customer. Thanks Rich!
