    After discovering leaking 19 year old tank type water heater on Wednesday, called Water heater pros and Steve came out and said it needed to be replaced. We talked options and decided to go with a tankless gas water heater, and he worked out an estimate right away, and I told him that I would let him know what I decided by the end of the day. After talking with my wife and son, we decided that the offer was OK and we called Steve to schedule the replacement, which he was able to fit in less than 48 hours. On Friday, Alberto arrived early and started the process. He was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to remove the old one and install the new one in about 5 hours. The installation was a little more complicated than I thought, but he did a great job. I would highly recommend Water Heater Pros for anyone needing a water heater.

He was very knowledgeable and listened to what I wanted, and most importantly, he didnt try to change my mind on the options I was most interested in.     We had a heat pump water heater installed which is working great. Getting multiple quotes for different options was easy over email as was processing SMUD rebate and inspection. Overall would recommend over other installers I reached out to.My only complaints are that I asked about any extra fees up front and I was told there is none but when it was time to pay I was hit with a credit card fee. Additionally they installed the thermostatic mixing valve as required by SMUD but did not activate which tells me they either dont understand its purpose or dont believe in it.

    We had a 17 year old gas water heater that suddenly had hot water volume cut in half. In addition, the relief valve backed up into our laundry room. After cleaning up we searched again for a high efficiency heat pump water heater and installer.The first company was not much help and was very expensive, charging more than double for the 120V unit we had searched online.We then checked with Water Heater Pros and can’t recommend them enough for Sacramento region residents requiring water heater replacements.Our 1985 home, while built beyond standards at the time, required some upgrades. It was discovered that the “T” connector for the valve relief was buried in the ground. I fixed that, after work by Alberto to locate the problem, and it now drains fine, avoiding extra charges.Water Heater Pros recommended a different brand HOWH, which has higher ratings and better efficiency. To get the CA State Clean Tech rebate, Water Heater Pros recommended upgrading to 65 gallons, instead of the 50 we had planned. That decision qualified us for both SMUD and Clean Tech rebates, cutting our cost significantly.Alberto came the day before to check the relief valve outlet and then arrived near 9am on Saturday for the removal and installation.He was very careful with our home, made certain that he avoided tracking mud into our home (heavy rains that day), rerouted the relief valve line so that it traveled downhill the entire way, and did an excellent removal and installation.We thoroughly recommend Water Heater Pros (and Alberto especially for his excellent work), for their quality planning and suggestions, to move us from fossil fuel gas/methane to clean and efficient electric.Alberto, Steve, and Water Heater Pros are high quality and do excellent work!

    Absolutely great company and wonderful people to do business with. Steve is a true professional, a considerate individual with positive attitude. To replace and install a water heater in my house, I consulted with him in numerous times via email and telephone. Always willing to help and provide an honest opinion. The cost estimate he provided was competitive and more than fair. Scheduling was easy and quick and Alberto, the technician arrived on time and installation didn’t take more than two and half hours- beyond my expectations! He was polite, quiet and a hardworking man. A good listener. Without me knowing, he left a small gift and a note in my garage, adding a ‘human’ touch to his job.     I have only good things to say about Water Heater Pros. We weren’t in a great hurry to replace our 20 year old gas water heater but it was showing signs of failure. We were looking for an electric heat pump water heater, so we called Water Heater Pros. Their office staff was friendly and informative. We called on a Thursday and we scheduled the install for the following Monday.The electricians showed up at 8:00 and got right down to business. We have a very full electrical panel but we made it work. The electricians went into our attic space and ran the service about 20’ to where the new water heater will be located, instead of cluttering up our walls with conduit. This was a plus.Shortly after that, Water Heater Pros tech Andrew showed up and got right to work, explaining his procedure along the way.A true professional. After the arduous task of doing the install, Andrew explained everything there was to know about the functionality of this unit.I will highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace their water heater.This is all they do and are very good at it.

    We were very happy with water heater pros. Their price was in line with others but they were just more professional and very organized. Steve did our estimate and he offered lots of knowledge as to the direction we should go. During installation, some extra construction was required including dry wall, but not expected. They did a great job and did not charge any extra.

    I have had 2 experiences with Water Heater Pro and both times was great. First time they came out to assess the issues, we thought was pilot light but nope—-and second time had install of new water heater.     We had Water Heater Pros replace our gas water heater with a heat pump water heater. Their quote was competitive. A different company had told us that we would need to hire our own electrician to run a circuit from the panel outside. Water Heater Pros brought an electrician from Specialized Electric and they were able to do all of the necessary electrical work using the main circuit breaker. The entire process was smooth and efficient - including getting the SMUD rebate and permit. We are very happy with our new heat pump water heater.

    I called at 8:30am after a surprise cold shower. I was able to get a technician scheduled for this afternoon and was even honored the internet price of $1998 that I found online. Andrew arrived about 1:30 and was done by 4pm. I am extremely happy with the quality of the American Standard tank, their manufacturers warranty as well as the 3 year workmanships warranty. The installation is far superior to the old unit and I couldnt be more satisfied. The tech said water heaters is all they do and I feel blessed I found them and can worry about one less thing breaking. Currently my HVAC is out and have had 4 techs out all saying different things. As a home owner, the 9-10 year mark is here and it seems like everything is breaking down. I am just glad Water Heater Pros was available today, believe me, one less thing on my plate.

    Valentine and Carlisle were both great! Install went quickly. They started at about 8:30 AM, were done by 5:30PM. They were careful to explain what they were doing as the job progressed, cleaned up completely, and even cleaned the floor and walls where the old water heater had stood. All I have to do is touch up the wall paint!They checked every faucet to be sure the water flowed properly, and cleaned every valve that was clogged from the water system being opened up ( 80 year old galvanized water lines, so lots of crud!).And can’t forget Roger the electrician who wired for the new heater… he was great too. Photos of completed install and of old water heater location are posted.Absolutely would recommend Water Heater Pros!

    I found Water Heater Pros on Yelp and they had alot of 5 star reviews so I gave them a call and spoke with Erin about swapping out my bad water heater for a new one. She was very pleasant on the phone, asked me some questions about what type of water heater I had and she talked about a couple of different types of water heaters I could go with. I asked if she could send me a quote with the options which she did within an hour. Each option was very detailed with what was included for each one along with pricing so I decided which one I was going to with and called back to set up the appointment for the following day. Andrew was the technician that showed up for the appointment. He was very professional and explained to me what he was going to be doing and then went to work finishing the job in a couple of hours. It looked great with all new equipment, he did not leave a mess and explained a few things about the water heater including how to light the pilot light and adjust the heat. I was very happy with the whole experinece and I would highly recommend the Water Heater Pros. They definitely will not dissapoint!

    Andrew from Water Heater Pros just installed our new 66-gal Electric Heat Pump Water Heater yesterday. Our old water heater was the original (20 yrs old) and full of scale! It was ready to give out at any moment.     We had our water heater replaced last week after our old one gave out spectacularly. Water Heater Pros were incredibly responsive with their appointment scheduling, showed up at the beginning of the estimated window, outlined all of the repairs and work needed in advance, and completed it all on schedule. Even better, their rebate program made it incredibly cost-effective for us.There was a minor hiccup with one of the fixtures for the unit we had installed, and we contacted them about it. They sent repairmen out the following business day to fix it and were prompt and courteous again.Im very impressed with the service we received and grateful to Water Heater Pros for their time and attention.     My Mom had her water heater replaced by Water Heater Pros. Living in a rural area, it’s difficult to find any good service companies willing to come out. It was not a problem with Water Heater Pros and I couldn’t be happier that they said yes!It was late in the day when I called Water Heater Pros and was provided with an estimate from Steve within 15 minutes of speaking with him and sending him pictures. I was able to get an appointment for the next day. Steve was polite and professional, answering all of my questions.Andrew came out to the house, on time, and did the installation. This is an old house with the water heater in a basement. How Andrew was able to get the new water heater into the basement and the old one out without hitting any walls, doors, etc is still a mystery! Andrew took particular care in slowly filling the new water heater and had me open faucets so that the old pipes were not stressed.     Our old water heater displayed an error/fault code, and produced only luke-warm water.Called Water Heater Pros and they were very responsive and polite. They very promptly sent Tech Valentin out to first assess the situation. Turned out that repairing our old water heater would have been almost as much as getting a new one.So we opted for the new. The very next morning, Tech Andrew came out to install our new heater. He actually came earlier than estimated and went right to work. Andrew was professional, diligent, polite, and knowledgeable. The company has good online reviews & submitted the most detailed, itemized & professional estimate as well as the best pricing. Alberto & Carlisle arrived on time, were professional, polite & thorough. This was no easy task because the water heater is in a small quarter basement. They carefully removed the large old tank, installed the new one in a convenient location, provided the owner’s manual, showed me how to operate the system, & left me once again able to run my dishwasher & enjoy hot water in my home.     My gas water heater had a sudden leak from the bottom, so I had to replace it. Turns out it was 16 years old. I called around and was getting quoted anywhere from 2.6k to more than 7k. I stumbled across Water Heater Pros on Google by chance and decided to give them a call because of the great reviews. One of the owners, Stephen, came out and did an assessment the same day at no cost, and gave me options (stick with gas or switch to electric and take advantage of a $2500 rebate from SMUD). Not only did Water Heater Pros quote me the lowest price, they were also the only company that offered me the choice to switch to a more efficient electric heat pump water heater model, on top of informing me about the SMUD rebate for heat pump water heaters. They only do water heaters, so it makes sense theyre well informed. Two days later, I have a shiny new water heater and I didnt lose a day of hot water! Andrew is the tech who did the job, and he was amazing! He performed the work well in half a day, and explained everything to me well. Im really glad I called Water Heater Pros, and you should too!     Andrew, our installer, did a fantastic job from start to finish. He kept me updated on his arrival time and then showed up on time as he indicated. He carefully explained the risks associated with my homes older water lines and helped me mitigate those risks by having me remove all filters and fixtures so that we could thoroughly flush all the lines after he installed the new water heater. As a result, we experienced no clogs or drops in water pressure after installation. He made sure that every aspect of the installation was up to code and carefully explained how to operate and maintain the new water heater.

    We have a Navien Tankless hot water heater and it was leaking. Hot Water pros answered my call on Friday and sent a technician that afternoon. We could still get hot water as it was a small leak. Valentin is an excellent technician and is very knowledgeable and personable and diagnosed the problem quickly. Found the pump was bad and also the initial installation was not correct. He called in ordered the part and was here promptly this morning.( as promised) Replaced the pump, replumbed the heater correctly, flushed the heater and added a recirculating bypass in the bathroom so we have hot water at the bathroom sink without having to run the water down the drain waiting for the hot water to come from the heater!Excellent job well done. Water Heater Pros get a strong recommendation from me. I wish I had a before picture of the mess it was. Here it is after Valentin finished. Excellent work!

    I hired these guys for water heater replacement and I couldnt be more pleased. Their estimate was competitive with other companies and they resolved a tricky outdoor vent situation that other companies didnt seem to know how to handle. They came the next day, took their time, and did high quality work. They even recommended a different sized water heater (than the broken one) that was more appropriate to my homes needs at an overall cheaper cost. Be wary of companies that offer mutiple services such plumbing, sewage, HVAC, and water heaters. Chances are they are not pros in any one thing. With Water Heater Pros, you are getting the best because its pretty much all that they do and they have perfected their craft. Water heaters arent cheap so I highly recommend going with a company that specializes. Its definitely something you want to get right the first time!

    I noticed that the stand that my water heater sits was wet and so I started looking for someone to take a look at it. I called Water Heater Pros and actually talked to a live person who quickly offered to have someone come out right away and asked how old the water heater was. Well, it was almost 20 years old so they told me it would need to be replaced and offered three choices heaters. Valentin came out to replace things and he was such a great guy. Looked at the existing setup, explained what he was going to do, and after the installation, went over the codes that the new heater could flash, why it was important to flush the heater every six months and that it only takes 5 minutes. Ive had a water heater replaced before and no one ever explained things like Valentin did. He also showed me the 20 years of gunk that flushed out of the old water heater and have to say I already set up a flushing reminder on my cell phone.Not only did Valentin clean up afterwards, he left it cleaner than it was before!

I went through their online site at night and used the quick quote and it was significantly less than other quotes I had received(Lowe’s and Bonney).     Our cheep Kenmore went out the other day. On 4/30 I contacted WHP and had a representative come out and give a fairly priced and detailed estimate and a in depth rundown on how install would go. The new unit is working fine, and provides hotter water in a shorter period than the old one.After the installation I had some normal grit and sediment move through my older, galvanized pipes, to the extent that the bathroom valve clogged. I called Sid for advice, and he volunteered to come over and help. In what I can only say was above and beyond, he removed and replaced the stuck valve, taking time out of his day to help. Old school service from a real pro, and a nice guy to boot.

Steve explained why a 40 gal Tank is a sufficient size and how it would support 2 twenty minute simultaneous showers and possibilities as to why my old tank never could do that. I couldn’t argue with that program!
