We purchased our new EV home charger on Amazon. The amazing Chris quoted us an installation plan and price by reviewing iPhone photos. Then Gilwee Electric installed and tested the ev charger within a couple of hours. Gilwee Electric exceeded our expectations!

Woke up and our power had gone out at some point in the night. Most of it was back except the garage and some of the outlets in the kitchen. Called Gilwee and spoke Chris and he suggested calling SMUD but said to call him back depending on what they had to say.Well I called SMUD and the guy was super unhelpful. Had me flip all the breakers including the big one then I couldn’t get it to flip back.He then says it’s an issue with the panel and to call an electrician . Called Chris back and he was so kind and SUPER helpful and walked me through getting the breaker flipped back (he said you have to throw your body weight into it lol) Got it back on then he walked me through how to find the outlet in the garage to reset it.He didn’t have to do that and went out of his way to help me!!! If I ever need actual electrical work I will 100% call Gilwee and absolutely recommend to anyone!

The owner Chris knows his stuff! We had a major remodel done and he came in and completely rewired our kitchen including but not limited to: kitchen island, pendants, multiple fixtures (plus a giant chandelier), Chris changed all our plugs and even relocated several. Hes very responsive! The price was excellent and the service was even better! I highly recommend this gentleman!

I cant speak highly enough of Chris and his fantastic team! Gilwee Electric did all of the electrical work for a house renovation and garage to ADU conversion project of ours. For both projects we did a bunch of research and spoke with various companies before deciding to go with Chris and his team. Their prices were super competitive, work was top notch, communication fantastic, clean reliable, on time, everything you want from a contractor. We hired Gilwee Electric and couldnt be happier with the work! They installed light fixtures inside and out and exhaust fans in the bathroom and laundry room. Chris is great to work with and Nick who performed the installation was great as well. Its a pleasure to work with an honest company that does quality work. I have used Chris for the past 5+ years and everything he has done has been top notch. His crew has always been so knowledgeable and professional.
