    Andrew was convivial and kind. But it was his determination to restore my main sewer drain back to normal that was really impressive. He had already packed up his heavy cable and hauled it back to his truck when he decided to use it again on my sewer main prior to leaving...just to be sure. He scheduled the camera crew to come by that same day to video tape the line, Everyone who showed up was professional and thorough. I will definitely call Hero from now on whenever my main backs up.

    We had a new hot water heater installed on Monday, October 28, 2024. Chad and Richard came to our home and did a fantastic job removing our old hot water heater and installing the new hot water heater. It was a difficult project because of the narrow opening in our furnace room. They had to remove some duct work and later put the duct work back in place. They did it with a little guidance from Nick in the office, as he walked them through this difficult job. Chad and Richard then installed the new water heater. It was done in an efficient, and very well done manner. Chad and Richard were great. The office personnel including all of the support staff, Nick, and Matt in sales were all wonderful to work with and made this situation of having to suddenly have a new hot water installed an easy process.     Bill Busch did an excellent job installing a new pair of faucets in my bathroom. He offered me a very low price and did the work quickly. He explained every step of the process to me and was extremely informative.Two other plumbers said the job would be complex and expensive, so I was surprised to have such excellent and cheap service from Bill. Will definitely ask for him for any future plumbing needs, and so should you!

    Dan Little from Hero: Plumbing, Heating, Cooling did a great job of thoroughly reviewing our heating and cooling needs including appropriate incentives even though our immediate concern was replacing our non-functioning central air system so we can make a comprehensive decision about restoring HVAC comfort immediately as well as considering our long term comfort needs. He was great!

    I have never been so impressed with a company before! The evening before my install (complete HVAC system) I had a bad experience with a competitor who tried to tell me that Metro Air would not deliver. It is sad when folks use hard sell practices, especially dissing the competition. Amanda at Metro Air talked me off the ledge and reassured me that they would take care of me now and in the future. Not only did I get a call from the person who sold me the system (Todd) that evening, but he also came in the morning to ensure everything was running smoothly. Todd answered all of my questions (texts and emails) with patience as I made this hard decision. The attached picture is of Jason who ran across town to bring me flowers to make up for the bad experience I had with the other company. I then got a call from Eric, management, (on his day off!) who gave me his personal cell phone number in case I had any problems. He shared about his business model of personally caring for customers which was evident in all of my interactions with Metro Air. The brochures were very helpful and easy to read, including pictures of installers and Google Reviews as well as their guarantees.The installers, John and Tyler, were amazing! They were highly experienced and professional. I wanted to get some additional ductwork installed and they came up with a great plan. They also helped me salvage my old humidifier to save me some bucks! They have a Google rating of 5 for a reason! Thank you Metro Air for wildly exceeding my expectations!

    Brett replaced the two water heaters at my duplex after I discovered one was from 1987 and the other was from 1991. He arrived around 9am and was done by ~1:30 with very minimal downtime for the water being shutoff. I had used Airics in the past and now they are part of Metro. Similar good experience under the new ownership.

    Our entire building lost heat while the temperatures were in the negative. Our building management called Metro Air and gave them the wrong lockbox information to access our building. That would deter most people but Tony stayed until he was able to contact one of our residents to gain access to the building. He stayed and worked on multiple residences to ensure we all had heat. Above and beyond service. Highly recommend.

    Ive been using Metro Air for many years now. The first time was a furnace and A/C replacement at a townhouse I used to own. Since then, Ive called upon them a couple of times to service the original 20+ year-old HVAC system in my current home (refrigerant top off and circuit card replacement) until I was ready to have them replace it with an all new system a couple summers ago. Techs Adam and Tyler did a phenomenal job on the installation and haul away, and took the time to explain how to apply for the rebates from my gas and electric utilities, saving me $450 on this project.My latest service call to Metro Air about a month ago was for a long overdue water softener replacement. Tech Bill Busch came out to look things over and provided me with options to choose from and a very fair quote based on the option I decided to go with, which was to research and purchase my own softener and have him install it and haul away the old one. In addition to that, he also replaced a leaking gate valve to an outside wall spigot I mentioned to him on the same visit. Thanks Bill! We can definitely tell the difference the new softener is having on our water!Every encounter Ive had with Metro Air over the years has been a great experience. They have highly competitive pricing, use high quality products, and their staff is very friendly, professional and conscientious. And for as long as they continue to be this way, they will always be at the very top of my list for when I or anyone I know is in need of the home services they provide. Thank you, Metro Air!

    Best experience with two techs that came to my house to repair my furnace. The first tech Rani make the diagnosis. Had to order the part. Part was sent next day by courier to my home.     The service was great from first call to resolution completed in a timely manner with very courteous service. Rachel took my information over the phone made sure that she had all the information correct. Tony made the first diagnostic visit and spent time deducing what the issue was which not a simple task as the water softener had failed and distributed pellets blocking all faucet aerators. Aketo made the service visit to resolve the issue by flushing the system. He was very detailed in providing further information regarding the situation and let me know what I was seeing and what he was doing as he stepped through various parts. He made excellent recommendations for options with secondary issues and explained quotes for a new water softener. I highly recommend and thank them for the expert service. The next week I purchased some bathroom faucets to replace aged faucets and Aketo made the service call. Once again he explained what was needed and provided details regarding what options we could take and pros and cons. The work was completed quickly, professionally with the same friendly and courteous manner. Once again highly recommend.

    Will did a great job diagnosing our furnace issues. Jake H. came soon after to replace our 19 year old furnace and A/C. Both on time and very responsive; helpful. Will went over many options for furnace/A/C replacement that was needed Jake did a fantastic job replacing both furnace and A/C! Very knowledgeable and skilled technician!! He laid down tarps on our floors and cleaned up the basement perfectly after he was finished. He worked all day inside and out and His install looks and performs perfectly!     My old AC went out during the hottest week of the summer, Metro Air came to my house in Bloomington, and made some recommendations. Eric explained that a heat pump is a better option than an AC, because it will cool in the summer and heat down to 15 degrees— less time using the furnace, and saves on the utilities.     Didn’t expect that a whole house evaluation was going to be done. Brady had a novice HVAC worker with him. It ended up taking a long time and was way more than just an AC inspection. It was a training session for the other staff member. Wish I could have gotten a printed report right at the end. Instead most likely I have a report in my email inbox that I haven’t opened yet. Too many emails, sorry. It’s overwhelming.

    Wish I could give these folks 6 stars.I called on a Friday evening to see if I could have someone help me with some furnace trouble, fully expecting the worst. It was getting late, and colder by the minute. Many horror stories about price gouging start just like this. An emergency in this climate. I was concerned that some pipes would freeze and I’d be on the hook for massive late night repairs or god knows what else.Instead, I had a wonderful experience - everything from the first brief conversation with one of their office representatives, to the highly experienced and friendly technician, Justin Brevik, who was at our home less than an hour later, made this the easiest repair we’ve ever had.Justin very quickly identified the issue, and was kind enough to also provide a thorough inspection of the furnace’s function beyond what was immediately needed. Beyond that, while he did suggest a few things, he was very clear that X, Y, or Z might be a wise investment, but unlike so many other companies, was not at all pushy about it. The vibe was that of an extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly exchange.Kudos, and thanks again!

    I unexpectedly needed my furnace and air conditioner replaced last week. Will did an inspection of my 13 year old furnace and discovered there was a problem. He explained what he found and made recommendations as to how this problem could best be addressed. I never felt pressured and he did a great job of going over my options. I decided to go ahead and get a new furnace and by early afternoon, Jake appeared at my house ready to do the work. Unfortunately for me, he discovered that my air conditioning system was in terrible shape too. Again, under no pressure, Jake explained my options and I decided to replace that too. Jake did a great job explaining the problems and walked me through the installation process. He worked at my house until 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night! When Jake was done, everything was installed and my basement was cleaner than when he started! He did a great job! I would highly recommend this company to everyone. They have great people working for them who take pride in what they do.

    After no heat for a couple days I made an appointment for Monday and was immediately called by Justin and he said he could come over right away so in case it was major they could get the ball running! He was here at 7 on a Sunday night and we found out it was major! Metro Air had installed our HAVC when we built our house and 29 years later on Monday morning I had a new HAVC. Jonathanwas great and 4 hours total they had the old out and the new in and I had heat again! My experience with both Justin and Jonathon was great, they were knowledgeable and professional, I highly recommend!

    We had a plumbing issue in our shower that left us no choice but to shut off our main water valve.We were able to get a Tech here the next day! Our Tech called 20 minutes before he arrived which was nice. He diagnosed the problem rather quickly and installed the new part in a timely fashion. Tech was polite and asked if we had questions.I would call them back again in the future for sure if we have other problems!

    I pride myself in being able to fix most things myself. When my external AC unit stopped working, I poured a good number of parts into it as well as most of a days worth of labor. I couldnt get it working and finally broke down and called Metro Air to schedule an appointment. Last minute and before Memorial Day weekend, they were able to get me an appointment the next evening. Justin B called and spent about 20 minutes troubleshooting my issue right after I called to set up the appointment. He showed up early the day of the appointment and fixed a simple issue I was missing for a more than reasonable rate. He was extremely professional; I cant recommend him and this company enough. They have my business in the future and I will continue to recommend them to people in need of a good HVAC company.

    Our air conditioner was struggling to keep up, so we had them come take a look. They were able to send someone the same day. Our tech was super knowledgeable and offered a variety of options at different price points. He had a couple recommendations, but wasnt pushy at all. We ended up getting new unit.     Our furnace stopped working with below zero temperatures forecasted for the week. Metro Air Heating & Cooling was able to fit us in for an appointment right away. Will was the technician who came out. He was prompt, polite and fixed our problem efficiently.We also had a furnace tune-up two weeks later. This was scheduled prior to the problem we had that was fixed, just to make sure all was working appropriately. Jason was the technician who looked at our heating and cooling system. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and offered some great advice and tips to have our system work well.We have been impressed with Metro Air Heating and Cooling’s customer service and work.     Very impressed with service provided by Metro Air. We had to wait 19 days for another company to come out just to tell us we needed to replace out central air. We called Metro Air on Monday morning. Jared was at our house by 9:30 am Monday (the same day), and Tyler and his partner came to install the new central air and furnace on Tuesday at 8:00 am. Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and showed us how to program our new thermostat that they also replaced. They also gave us paper manuals, which we love because we dont use the computer very much. We would highly recommend Metro Air.

    Jake came out to do a tune up on our furnace that Metro Air installed 2 years ago. I was curious on what needed to be done to a new system. However, I was surprised by what he did. He made several adjustments and made sure the burners were operating correctly (no yellow flames) on both the high and low stages. He showed me everything I need to look for to prevent problems in the future. And, he showed me how to clean a filter inside the furnace that I didnt know existed. That will save me a future service call, or worse an outage when its -20 (Murphys Law). I highly recommend Metro Air (ask for Jake). I will be calling them this spring to do the same tune up to our A/C system.

    I think we can all agree that when your AC unit goes out, it’s almost always a huge headache and your first reaction is “this will be expensive”. The people at Metro made this process so easy. After doing some research and talking to multiple companies near woodbury, we finally decided to have a guy come out from Metro after our AC quit out on us (after 31 years I might add). They sent out guys for a reasonable price, and got us set up with a brand new AC and furnace in 2 days (over a weekend too).     I am a tenant and our landlord used Metro Air when our A/C went out. Daryl came out and assessed the situation and recommended replacement since the unit was so old and parts would be expensive. He was knowledgeable and friendly. Then Nick came out to give a quote and take measurements for the replacement unit, he was also very friendly, reliable and knowledgeable. When the replacement was ready we had Justin and Drew at our home and also a great experience with them. They came in and got the job done quickly and efficiently. So, working with 4 employees at Metro Air I have had a great experience and would recommend them to anyone!

    The holidays caused a delay in service but I didnt consider my repair worth interrupting Christmas for a repair tech. When the office opened on Tuesday, I got a call and Brian arrive by 10:00 in the morning, originally scheduled for 11:00. The repair was quick, we had heat, technician was out of the house by 11:00. Will definitely use this service again!
