    With the help of May and the ADR contracting crew, we were able to execute the design we had in mind for our home. May was very patient, informative and honest with her feedback. We could not have completed this project without her. She helped us navigate the hiccups and unexpected challenges that come with older builds. In the end, we are very satisfied with the outcome and are so grateful we had May as our project manager. We knew that we could trust her with our home.

    ADR remodeled our 2-bedroom/2-bath condo; two months, five days a week, touching every room. It’s been almost a month since the project was finalized and we’re still riding high with happiness over how well everything turned out. When we were interviewing remodel firms, where two other companies said, “can’t be done”, ADRs Dain Pulis, who became our project manager, said, “I know how to do that.” And he did. Furthermore, it was done at a cost substantially less than other companies led us to expect. Dain warned on day one that the construction process is messy business and that our 1974-built structure would probably throw complications at us. He was right (big and small), but he and site foreman Luis Mendoza dealt with each issue with care, calling in skilled trades where appropriate, and communicating with us thoroughly to make certain outcomes were in line with our objectives.We vacated the condo for the duration of the project so that work could progress most quickly. I visited nearly every day and was constantly available for consultation. Dain met us at commercial outlets to help us select and buy tile, trim, flooring, molding, vent covers, and paint, all at contractor discount prices. It was my job to purchase and ensure delivery to the worksite all new sinks, fixtures, cabinets, doors, etc. (again with advice from Dain on where to find the best prices). Luis and his team were at the condo early every weekday and were there until 5pm or later. Their desire to meet our expectations was obvious and consistent. Both Dain and Luis were clear that they didn’t consider the job complete until we were genuinely happy with the result. The project was a lot of work for everyone involved.. more for me than I expected, but as stated earlier, we’re loving the results. I’m glad we selected ADR, and will do it again if future projects arise.

    We had several companies come by to give us bids for a full kitchen remodel and ultimately we chose Affordable Design and Remodel. From our first interaction with Nadir, we knew who we wanted to work with for our project. One of the most kind and friendliest people weve ever met, Nadir was patient when it came to hearing out what we envisioned in a new kitchen, while providing his professional input which helped us put many things into perspective. He presented a design that we instantly fell in love with and laid out and explained what the plan would be step-by-step and made sure that we were in agreement with every decision. At that point we couldnt wait for the project to get started. Nadir has assembled a team of folks that are friendly, hard-working, respectful, and professional. We couldnt have had a better team working on our project. Ultimately, the final outcome was beyond our expectations and we cant thank Nadir, his team, and Affordable Design and Remodel enough for the great work. Look no further!

    Kitchen Remodel Review-Affordable Design & Remodel-I had about 8 estimates and ADR was not the cheapest nor the most expensive but definitely the company I felt most comfortable with - Nadir’s expertise in his field was obvious with years of experience had great ideas that made the most sense out of all the estimates we had.Nadir’s warm and fun personality made such a great impact on our decision choosing them to do the remodel .With having his assistant May being present we were able to get a woman’s point of view at the same time which helped also-Something important to me from the start was knowing that the company had a good reputation, Licensed, bonded, insured , etc but also that they were going to stick with the budget as much as possible-God knows when doing this type of work there’s always possibilities that things come up - well let me tell you we did have a couple of issues with our outdated plumbing & electrical. They even found a leak under the house that had been going on for who knows how long - They took care of it ! We are not only super happy with our kitchen but, feel so much better knowing that fixing these other problems were going to make it safe for our family and avoid any future problems-ADR - has fulfilled our expectations ! When Nadir and his team come to mind , I think “above & beyond “ due to the fact that they have been like that the entire time-My wife had surgery during the remodel and both May and Nadir both texted me out of concern for my wife the day before to wish her luck and the day after to see how she was doing -The crew were all very nice, respectful and made sure to keep it as clean as possible .I’m not sure if going to different places to choose the material like flooring, tile, stone , etc. is normal especially as busy as Nadir is but , I appreciate all the time and effort he gave us .Another thing I am happy with is the daily communication whether it be in person or on the on phone-Getting a remodel can be stressful for anyone but, when working with the right people / company it will keep it at a minimum, especially when they make it fun - I will never forget how he joked about removing the wrong wall to the construction workers and how I was able to play a joke on him about going on vacation in the middle of the remodel when I was on my way to the airport- among other things - like making my parents feel the warm personality etc… one last thing a special thanks to Raniel !God bless you Nadir & TeamI hope to keep in touch for our bathroom remodel and some lunch-Thank you for making this a wonderful experience working with you and I consider you a friend as well

    When I decided to remodel/replace my shower, I decided to get half a dozen quotes from the top rated companies in north San Diego County. Affordable Design and Remodel was, by far, the most impressive and professional. From the presentation by Dain and May at the first meeting, it was clear that Affordable was the best choice. While every other company provided reasons why exact remodel I wanted couldnt be done that way, Dain and May not only embraced my wish, they made several recommendations that enhanced my vision. Dain was with me when time to buy the tile and other supplies to ensure my choices would work; thats just one example of the care Affordable provided. And the project manager assigned, Adan, was absolutely fantastic. He ensured plastic barriers minimized the demolition dust spreading to other parts of the house and involved me in every step of the remodel to ensure it met my expectations. From my experience, you couldnt choose a better company that Affordable to do your remodel.

    We were dealing with a musty smell coming from the crawl space, so we called for help. Omar came out, inspected the space, and recommended a thorough cleaning along with a vapor barrier installation. The difference is night and day! No more odor, and we feel confident there won’t be moisture issues anymore. Omar did a fantastic job, and I highly recommend him for any crawl space or moisture barrier needs

Dain started the experience extremely professional and ended with a final product I was not expecting exceeding himself. Dains’s knowledge of construction has exceeded my expectations! Anthony’s workmanship and attention to every detail is amazing customer service. Anthony is so easy to work with and I highly recommend this company.     Our kitchen was in great need of remodeling. We were fortunate to find Affordable Design and Remodel. Dain Pulis and his crew consisting of John, Edgar, and others replaced our 52 year old kitchen with a beautiful, modern, and very functional new kitchen.     We just finished a bathroom remodel using Affordable Design and Remodel in Poway, with Mia Harris as our project manager. They are by far one of the best remodel contractors around! Their prices were reasonable, and their service was great! Mia went with us to help us pick out the materials we wanted and kept in constant communication every step of the way. When unexpected problems arose (which will happen with any remodel), the owner of the company himself came out and offered us a choice of possible solutions at no extra cost to us. When we had trouble finding a vanity that we liked, Mia spent many hours online trying to find the perfect vanity, and when that didn’t work, the company had a custom vanity built for us. Everyone we dealt with was extremely nice and wanted to make sure that we loved everything about our new bathroom (which we do!). We highly recommend them!

    We needed a specific bathroom remodel for an ADA accessible bathroom for our daughter. Dain and his team (Jorge, Fernando, Carlos, Fausto, and Gabriel) were wonderful to work with and took pride in their work. They made sure everything was done to our liking. Everyone had me worried about working with contractors but I worked with Nadir and he helped ous with everything we needed from A-Z.     We live in a 2 Bedroom house and we have 4 kids now ( Thank god) and realized we need at list one more room, so Nadir The owner & His team came to take a look at what we can do and came out with a great idea to break the wall between one large bedroom and the living room and creat another room in between. They pushed the house entrance out and gave the living room a bit more space.Now we have 3 bedrooms: one for girls, one for boys and one for us and Nice size of leaving room.The job was done quickly That we didn’t even needed to move out, he closed half of the house in temporary wall, so we could still use Kitchen and bathroom and we all slept for like 2 weeks in our bedroom 🤷‍♀️It was clean work, quick and professional,The owner is super positive person and funny I must say, He made The whole experience better than I could ever imagine.😊
