Turns out the water hearer need to be fixed and recommended be replaced due to its age and current state.The whole experience was friendly and professional! My wife and I have been renovating our home over the past few years. We converted the original kitchen to a master bath and walk-in closet. We recently became aware of the new GE washer and dryer combo units and purchased one to incorporate it into the new area. Since we have had West Sound Plumbing here for minor repairs the past two years, we had Austin come over, review what we needed and fit us into their schedule the following week.Tom arrived on time and roughed in the new drain standpipe, water shutoffs and tapped into the existing plumbing. He had to remove several pieces of Sheetrock to access the work area and the way he removed it, made it very easy for me to repair the wall.While he was under the house, he noted that we had standing water from a leak in the new shower pan. He took several pictures so that I could contact the manufacture for advice on possible repair. TileRedi requested we have the leak videoed so that their engineers could assess the necessary repair.The following week Tom and his son returned to help me install the new washer-dryer combo unit. Because the machine is 325 lbs., it took all three of us to remove it from its lower crate and install it. He tested it and made sure it was properly operating and draining.Tom and his son returned to the crawl space to video and assess the leak. He found that the drain pipe was not properly installed by the contractor that did the original work. He removed it, cleaned it and properly repaired the fitting. He will be returning next week to make sure the leak is permanently fixed.I cant say enough about how professional this company is but Tom and his son are the two finest plumbers we have had working on our home. Weve had three other contractors over the years and none of them were anywhere as professional as the plumbers from West Sound Plumbing.

We had a leaky toilet here at the place I work, called West sound plumbing they sent out a plumber by the name of Josh. Josh showed up about an hour and a half before his appointment was scheduled. I called the office at 1 pm and they were able to send a crew to come by 230 for a leaking pipe. Forrest and Austin arrived and got to working figuring out how to fix it. They were very nice, polite and talked to me as they did the job. They kept me informed on what they were doing. They fixed the problem, informed me what to pay attention to just in case my hot water tank was affected. They were here for about an hour or so. They were quick, kind and courteous. Thanks guys! Theyve been out for two issues now, both a bit niche (they fixed a toilet a different plumbing company said couldnt be fixed, and they replaced a broken in-ground utility box that protects a sewer connection). Both Ramon and Gabe were on time, nice, respectful of my space, and got the job done. I appreciate how Jessica in the office asks for pictures of the problem so they have a good idea of whats going on before they come out, saving everyones time. West Sound is my first call for plumbing issues.

July 26, 2024Outstanding work!Joshua arrived right on schedule, was able to cut out an old galvanized pipe, spin off the rusted elbow, and install a new isolation valve to abandon an old leaking underground pipe that ran out to my barn. Water was secured to the house for no more than 20 minutes then back on.Joshua was quick and professional. Friendly and great service.Highly recommend.Thank you again!

I had a dishwasher that needed to be replaced. Unfortunately the dishwasher delivery was late, but the service tech decided to continue with fixing my faucet since he was already here. I really appreciated that. He was also able to get a good look at what the new dishwasher would need for installation, making it easier when they came back to install. I didnt catch the first techs name, but the second team that came out (Forrest and another guy) were helpful and nice. They didnt rush the installation and made sure everything ran well. Really grateful to have my dishwasher back. They were also very accommodating with scheduling, despite having a shorter staff than usual in their scheduling office.

West Sound Plumbing is our go-to plumbing company. They are the best youll find. We have a pretty large, older home that is being renovated so we have had to make quite a few calls (both emergency and planned) to WSP. Our calls are always either answered or returned quickly; their work is superior; they know exactly what they are doing, and they are extremely professional and friendly.Before we worked with WSP we hired several other plumbers. One time in an attempt to find the source of a loud noise coming from our pipes we hired a couple of local companies to troublshoot. After about 10 minutes of standing around turning on and off the water, one plumber shrugged his shoulders, said he had no idea what the cause was and left. Not wanting to give up, we made the call to West Sound Plumbing, and within 15 minutes of showing up, Josh found the source and fixed the issue! We have been loyal customers ever since.This month Thomas spent hours working meticulously on our tub rough-in. He didnt leave until everything was done perfectly.Just today, Forrest and John came out to help us narrow down the source of a leak and they went through every possible scenario to figure it out. Their experience and confidence shows in the way they are willing to share what they know, and answer questions. They have integrity and you can trust them to do the right thing. I really cannot recommend West Sound Plumbing more highly.

Where to begin? We moved to Poulsbo in 2021 from a Phoenix, which is a huge Metropolitan area. I wasn’t sure what kind of help we would get in small town Poulsbo. Well, we have used West Sound plumbing multiple times and have always had an amazing experience. They are way better than any plumber we used in Phoenix. Today, Forrest was the plumber who helped us with a really stubborn clogged toilet AND drain. He was so, SO helpful. Forrest was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Im stunned over my interactions with West Sound Plumbing. Working with them felt like having a good neighbor.We had root intrusion in our septic lines that needed immediate work. Austin came out right away to evaluate the damage and give me some quote options. Attempting to save some money, I dug out a 4x4x4 hole in the area that another plumbing company had pointed to as the source of the root intrusion.The other company was completely off and my pre-digging was a waste of effort.When Forrest and John arrived on site, they found the correct location, fixed it, backfilled my mistake, and installed new cleanouts to help address future issues and maintenance. They did this while keeping my pregnant wife at ease while I was out of the country.To top it all off, they finished under time and under budget. West Sound Plumbing even reduced the final bill for the effort I had put in, despite it causing more work for them since they had to backfill.Dont mess around with the big brand companies. Outstanding service from West Sound Plumbing. The tub in the hall bathroom was leaking. I called and spoke to Dawn who arranged a technician to come out. Maybe 30-40 minutes after speaking with Dawn, Joshua arrived. Joshua was terrific; knew what he was doing. He assessed the tub and crawled in the crawl space to check the pipes. Everything was good below the house. He cut a hole in the wall just big enough to access the pipes and found a leaky valve (hot water side). He tightened the valve and Im definitely taking his recommendation of replacing it. Thanks Joshua!A couple of days later I found out there was another leak in the hall bathroom. This time from the shower head pipe. The hot water valve was still slowly leaking, too. Around the same time there was a dripping sound coming from the shower stall in the master bathroom. This turned out to be a leaky hot water valve as well. I contacted West Sound Plumbing again and scheduled an appointment. Thomas and Benjamin came to the rescue. Thomas worked his magic and fixed the shower head pipe without having to replace it and tightened the hot water valves on both showers to where they dont leak. On September 11, 2023, Josh and his assistant Gabe fixed a small leak under my kitchen sink, and also fixed my garbage disposal which wasnt working either. The problems were related. They replaced the part under the kitchen sink where the leak was coming from, and unjammed my garbage disposal with a tool I didnt know I had that was under my sink that helps break up items in the disposal should the garbage disposal get clogged. They also showed me where the reset button was on the disposal, and it works perfectly now. The two men were curteous and very professional. I was glad they came. I highly recommend West sound Plumbing Service.That same day, they also took pictures of my hot water heater which recently died (no hot water) and took measurements of it. It has not been replaced for over 15 years and it was time to do so. I got a call from West Sound Plumbing Service the next day with a quote for a new one which was very reasonable, and the same two men, Josh and Gabe, came back on September 18, my next available days off, to replace the hot water heater. The new tank is computerized and more modern looking than the old one. They did such an efficient job in installing it, and went over things with me about the new tank. Again, they were curteous and very professional and worked in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves too! I now have hot water again! I can’t recommend West Sound Plumbing enough, specifically their amazing worker Forrest. My downstairs toilet was gurgling and not flushing, so I called around to local plumbers. Those plumbers all said they were busy, couldn’t see us for a few days, yada yada - all except West Sound. The woman (hero) on the phone made a few calls around, and called me back, saying that they could send a plumber over in a few hours. When Forrest arrived, he troubleshooted a few things, including my septic. We learned that one tank was full while the other was not, so he concluded that it was probably a filter. We checked it out and sure enough, it was clogged. We rinsed it out, and we also unclogged another filter that was backed up. The septic water started flowing immediately, and everything began working properly. Forrest help saved me a costly septic tank pump, as well as some headaches trying to get people on the calendar. Again, nothing but gratitude to Forrest, and West Sound plumbing. Will definitely use again in the future if needed.

For 8 years my family and I have been living with a water pressure issue. Our pressure drops off fast when running multiple things. It is frustrating! I had finally had enough and started digging up my waterline by the street. Unfortunately, there were a lot of tree roots and rock and I decided I was going to call someone. I tried numerous plumbing places. Some starting with “Sw”, “Ki” and others. As soon as I mentioned “dig” and “tree” roots they suddenly couldn’t help. Well, I called West Sound Plumbing Service. Austin arrived and looked at my issue. He said he would “bet the house” that it was the pressure regulating valve (PRV). He gave me a quote for the PRV, one for replacing the line all the way to the house and one for replacing our 2 hose bibs. He was incredibly honest and up front with me and very personable.Forrest, from West Sound, came out today and got to work. He noticed an issue with the valve at the street and recommended I call the City of Poulsbo and have them check it BEFORE he replaced the PRV because he didn’t want to replace something that didn’t need replacing. I called and the city came out and talked with Forrest.In the end, the PRV did the trick.Forrest did a great job!!
