Kasselman Solar was top notch from start to finish. David Kowalsky, my Pv Design Engineer was a pleasure to work with. He was on top of everything. The quality of the product and the installation is 10 out of 10. My system is 8.3 kw and has cut my utility bill in half.

Installation was excellent. Communication during the installation process was spotty. We initially had an excellent, detail-oriented project manager who went on family leave and then suddenly left the company. The replacement person was difficult to reach and multiple emails bounced. After some effort I reached the support department and got the help I needed. Overall I’m happy with the engagement.

From first call to final inspection, the Kasselman team was prompt, informative, and entirely professional. Obviously, installing solar panels is quite an investment of time and money. We had three companies give quotes and Kasselman beat the others by a mile on cost. The project manager, Alex, was proactive in communication. With current state incentives, a lot of the cost hurdle is easily overcome. Highly recommend.

David Kowalsky of Kasselman designed a System for me last year.We had some worries getting the permits with the local DOB due to COVID. But the system was installed late in December 2020, just in time to include it when I filed my taxes and claimed my Tax Credits.Winters shortened days did not generate much power but by March my Utility bill showed me with a surplus. I have become very aware of sun these days, checking the mySolar Edge AP frequently to see how its doing.Thanks also to the Installation crew, my 14 panels were installed in one day (and Decembers days are short ones). Nick Coveney and the remote support were also great. When I had questions or concerns they were always quick to respond.I already knew the Kasselman name as Electrical contractors on projects I have done in the Albany and Kingston areas. Initially I was afraid to use them in Northern Westchester, but their new Poughkeepsie is much closer to my home.I would definitely recommend Kasselman.

I went to three different providers before choosing and commiting to KS. Kasselman Solar (most specifically David Kowalsky) took his time to go over design, pros and cons, advantages, tax incentives, etc.. They take the installation from end to end. Including permit and utility company integration. So in other words, you put the roof and they take care of the rest for you. Speaking of roof, did I mention my Roof wasnt new and in its last licks and they also took care of that too. Definitely pleased with their service and I am already looking at credits with my Electricity Bill. Whats not to like?

The team at Kasselman were great right from the Start. I used a 3rd Party to get recommended Solar specialty firms in our Capital District area that were 4 out of 5 stars or better. Kasselman was listed, doing some research of my own I found that several of my friends had friends that had used them, and were completely satisfied with their work.I went to their website and put in a rough description of my needs and the desire to have them come out for an appraisal of our property. I was to say surprised to get a response within 10 minutes and an appointment because of Covid was done virtually online.After a couple of conversations with their designer Michael White a system was set arrangements to set up payments via online with Steven Clemens and pricing discussed and agreed upon dates were set and we needed only to await the weather breaking in early Spring.Well my systems parts all arrived early so Shannon Hartz called and gave my wife and I the opportunity to have our system installed the following Monday if it was convenient for us. It was and she quickly coordinated the process getting the staffing need to our home to complete our system before a storm arrived.In short our system was completed in just under one day by what amounted to two crews working in tandem to beat Mother Nature. We need only the inspections by their installation inspector and one by National Grid and we will be Solar Powered!Kasselman is a great group, and a well oiled machine when their working. They all wore masks for Covid and the cold and our installation went off without an issue. I highly recommend them and if they ask, I would greatfully show our system to their potential client.Respectfully,David & Stephanie Pitzer~~~ Followup ~~~We have had our panels up and online now for 4.5 months. We have paid for zero electricity only a $16.85 connection fee for the last 4 months while running of whole house electric AC whenever the outside air temperature is 78 degrees or more. We have generated enough “extra power” to have built up a credit of 4x our monthly average usage prior to the panels which should cover our electric costs when the panels are covered with snow.So given the decision on yes or no to solar, it’s a definitely yes, and the installation definitely Kasselmann!Dave and Stephanie Pitzer

System was installed September of 2019 and is excellent. I called last week to Kasselman and explained that I was experiencing issues with the inverter. They came within 3 days and replaced it. I cannot expressed my happiness with this company. I am making more than a 1000 kwh more than they promised me. And on top of that, they installed the system extremely neat. And lastly, their workers are the very best.

Kasselman solar is amazing start to finish. I had been considering solar for our new home. I went online and did some research. A few days later an ad pops up for Kasselman and i look into and inquire about more info. Not 20 minutes goes by and i recieve a call . super friendly full of info. I agree to a zoom consultation after giving some basic info on usage location so on. Zoom call starts. Bam they have everything laid out super plain english answer questions with ease break it down. Amazing!!!! Agree quickly affer to move forward. Evdry step is laid out by the project manager. Right down to financing and how to get the most grants and assistance possible. My busy scheduke lead to delays no issue from them. Some friendly hey still theres. And even help filing the proper paperwork with the town and with the load company. Crew came out intall seamless no conduit running over my roof panels are amazing to look at crew super personable joming good time all day. Well half a day actually they are FAST! Impressed if i decide to add on i will use kasselman for sure!!!

When I started to shop for our long term solar investment we were looking for a reliable honest and reputable company- Kasselman and the entire team met our expectations and beyond. The sale process by David Kowalsky was smooth. David provided great details and was knowledgeable about the product. The next step in the process was the actual commitment and getting to know our project manager, Alex Martin. Alex has been very professional and attentive throughout this process. Alex has gone above and beyond, providing not only superb customer service but continuance updates and following up with all documentation and details of the process. Alex really listens to his clients and provides reasonable accommodations when asked. I was very appreciative about certain design questions and Alex went the extra mile to make my wife and I very comfortable with this process. The installation crew was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The craftsmanship and attention to customers expectations and details is beyond impressive. Our installation is top notch and impeccable. It’s not only very clean...it is seemingly discreet and functional. I would like to thank the Kasselman family! I really feel like this company - seems like a big family and all employees are very happy and speak highly about their employer. There is something to be said about this!
