I had Dave some out to two different properties. They always arrived as scheduled and offered me an honest estimate. They came to double check a general home inspectors assessment. On property one, they saved me a good deal of money over a replacement. On property two, they said no work was needed and did not let me pay them for their time. Highly recommend.

I owe this company a lot more than a 5 star review.I recently got all the plumbing in my house upgdated by another company. I also hired Nu Pipe to update and repair a sewage line break from my home to the main hookup. The guys did a really wonderful job; they were quick, clean, and professionalI thought that would be all that I needed. A few weeks after Nu Pipe was out, a sewage back up developed, underneath my basement floor-- the one pipe I did not get checked or serviced-- was the culprit.Even though it was not their fault it their responsibility, thee guys came out the next day, and unclogged a complete blockage as a courtesy because I was acustomer so recently. They saved me thousands of dollars. Like I said, I owe them a lot more than its 5 star review.

We were under warranty and needed repair after sewer scope noted root intrusion. Scheduled within a week, job done in a day. All under warranty. They took care of permits and inspection. Truly seamless. These guys are great.

I am extremely pleased with the service that we received. The owner Dave, project manager Mauro and Matt were great to work with. Mauro took his time to identify the problem and answer all questions. We have recently had to call several other plumbers and this was by far the best service. They came out the next day to hydrojet the length of the sewer line. I would definitely recommend this company!

My experience with NuPipe has been amazing-professional, very helpful and reassuring!!My sewer was close to failing with significant separation between connections and a couple noticeable cracks. Nu Pipe was upfront with pricing and consulted with their master plumbers to confirm they can address my sewer repair. The team at NuPipe was truly amazing from start to finish. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Root issues are ubiquitous around here, and tricky. If you ask me, the one thing you want to know when you hire a company is that theyll stand by the job. Nu Pipes defining feature is they stand by the job. Period.I cannot speak highly enough of Dave and his company.I know what the negative reviews will say: They get very busy, and communication suffers. Let me be the one to tell you it is utterly worth it to stick by, because once they service you, they stick by you.I am sure Dave has nightmares about my job, with transitions under the house and a tree that desperately wants into our pipes. We first contracted him in 2018 because we still had roots coming in our pipes after doing some big, expensive, and ultimately shoddy work to replace our line from the house to the street. We did a slipline of the first transition, and then he had to come back a year later to slip another transition, and then had to come back another time when we realized there was a sump attached to the system and the tree found a way in through there.Every time since the initial job: No charge. He makes your pipe his responsibility, end of story. This last time--1.5 years after he basically redid the job for free to make sure we were solid forever--it turned out to just be the kids putting too much TP down the drain. Once again, he refused any payment. As far as hes concerned, that pipe is his responsibility.I cannot describe how much this means, how much standing by the job has meant so much to us. Does Dave root for the wrong college football team? Absolutely. But if anyone ever gives you s for letting a Buckeye deal with your s, send them to me.

I cant thank these guys enough. We have a sewer pipe liner that the previous owner of our house did not disclose and it was delaminating. Our regular plumber had not encountered this type of issue before so we called Nu Pipe. The woman who answered the phone knew exactly what I was talking about and arranged for a team to come out and fix the issue. Three days later a great team came in and removed the sagging liner in about an hour, free of charge! We didnt even purchase the liner originally but they still fixed our clog. Thanks Nu Pipe!

The reason I am writing this review early is because I feel a company like this needs some online love. They dont seem to have a lot of reviews online and though reviews dont matter much because anyone can write them, I do feel the general public can decipher who is a solid company and who is not, by a good review.Nu Pipe was consulted because there was a water leak in the basement. Five months before the house was purchased the previous owners waterproofed the basement with a company called Active Basement Waterproofing. NEVER use that company. They are scammers. If you want your money stolen, the work to be bad, get yelled at by the owner, and to have hire another company... well, I guess hire Active Basement Waterproofing. The owner is Neil David Knapp.Active Basement Waterproofing (again NEVER use this company) essentially did the job incorrectly and not up to code and without permit. Multiple companies were consulted in order to get a solid understanding of what the correct way was. Active Basement Waterproofing failed to tube the entire perimeter, failed to drill in weep holes so water could drain, no clean outs so the system could be cleaned out if soil collects in the system, AND no connection to the sump pump so the water could flow out and not in the basement. Like... its really common sense... water SHOULD drain out of weep holes into tube. The tube goes around the entire basement and the water flows right into the sump pump. Leaving the basement dry. This cant really happen if it wasnt actually done... ::chirp chirp::The reason I want to highlight Nu Pipe is because the owner David Marsh (great guy), offered to be an advocate for my roommate. He identified the bad work and contacted my roomie and offered his assistance. He called the company owner, who by the way came out and yelled at the two of us previously, when asked if he could stand by his warranty. It was a longer conversation that Neil David Knapp and David Marsh had that again ended in Neil David Knapp of Active Basement raising his voice. I dont know any company who is willing to do that for customers that arent even their customers. It really goes beyond just being nice. David Marsh of Nu Pipe had no obligation to help at all. I truly think hes just a good guy. Nu Pipe just went above and beyond and that to me leaves a positive mark.My goal of this review is similar to how I feel about being a teacher. If youre a good person, you ultimately will be a good teacher because you are passionate about your craft. Its evident that David Marsh is a good person because he just sincerely wanted to help and advocate for my roommate to have this OTHER company do the work and do it right. Nu Pipe wasnt making any money on this job and they received no promises of future work. In fact, they are from Pontiac and I live in Oak Park. Its not really close so they are going out of their way literally to help us.Nu Pipe has integrity and they clearly know that this along with good work will keep their business alive.Based off of my handful of encounters with David Marsh of Nu Pipe and his team I can recommend him to anyone. He was referred by other residents in the community. So, really, there is no better way to get a referral than from your neighbors who have experienced quality work.- - -Update (post plumbing work): So, just like I suspected the work was done and it was excellent. They came multiple times and worked on a number of items in the bathroom and in the basement. When there was an unexpected septic issue, David and his team took care of it quickly. I wasnt sure about the company since they didnt have tons of reviews, but sometimes you just have to go with what the neighbors in the community say. Honestly, meeting David really restored my faith in two things 1. There are good contractors out there that are not trying to rip you off and 2. There are good people in the world who care about helping other people.

I have hired Nu Pipe for several projects and Dave and his team have always done excellent work, including fixing a pipe issue that had gone on for years - no other company was able to figure out how to properly fix it and Dave and his team fixed the issue in a day and we havent had a problem with the pipe since!

I hope to never have to use this company again, because it was a huge job. But since I did need to replace our sewer pipe, Im very happy to have found this company. They were very professional and courteous. We had 58 of pipe replaced that ran under our family room, garage, and driveway. They used trench-less technology that saved us thousands of dollars and hours of inconvenience. The owner of the company, Dave, went way above and beyond to take care of a small problem that wasnt even his fault. Weve had a lot of work done on our home over the years but this is by far the best company we have ever dealt with.

Contacted them for pipe leaking issues. Came right out and inspected my issue, and didn’t think it was something he would be able to do, but came back a second time with cameras and took a closer look. It wasn’t an issue that qualified for pipe lining but they were very professional and didn’t charge us a dime. I can’t recommend them enough on customer service.

Nu Pipe helped us line an ageing cast iron pipe that had cracked at our house. The location of the pipe made it hard to replace conventionally but they were able to line it with fiberglass and replace some of it that was in the house.We had some minor hiccups with the process but they took care of them promptly and were very willing to work with us.Later we had a backed up septic line and we didnt know what was causing it so we called them back. They came out really fast and brought their camera equipment. Turned out it was a child using way too much toilet paper. NuPipe was able to clear the clog and we were back up and running quickly.I recommend using them!

When I purchased my new home, the first order of business was replacing a nasty, leaking, monstrosity of cast-iron pipes in the basement. Some kind of giant waste collector. I received several quotes and went with nu-pipe. They were the least expensive, and did excellent work that was up to code and no issues with getting the inspection afterward. They treated my home respectfully and cleaned up after themselves. Plus they got the job done in less than a day on the same week they came out and quoted it (for free, BTW). Next best quote was $600 more and told me Id be without running water or drains for 3-5 days.

Couldn’t be happier with the service! We had our sewer pipe lined (with a free estimate!). The process was quick with perfect results. No digging in the backyard, only a small access hole in the basement. We had the house’s original terracotta sewer line- which was about 100 years old and desperately needed replaced before it collapsed. No more tree root backup worries! Highly recommend NuPipe! Great people with great results.
