We had a very positive experience with Shea Custom Carpentry from beginning to end. The project entailed the creation of soffits/enclosures for HVAC components in our home. The work was top-notch, and we want to acknowledge, in particular, Kevin the carpenter, Tom the painter, and Mary in the office. Kevin is absolutely meticulous and a highly skilled craftsman, having created for us wood and drywall soffits with access panels that blend perfectly with the surrounding wall and ceiling surfaces. Tom did a great job painting the new soffits and, where necessary, adjacent wall and ceiling surfaces so that the new construction blended seamlessly with the existing surfaces. Mary scheduled the job visits and communicated with us in a friendly, highly professional manner. We would highly recommend Shea Custom Carpentry to anyone considering specialized, custom work.

Shea Custom Carpentry just finished our second project, and as with the first, they did a great job. Our house dates back to the early fifties and has many quirks, so our jobs require a lot of innovative thinking. Ed is excellent with this, and his crew members have beautiful workmanship. Our first project was an addition and renovation to our home and our second was a bathroom renovation for a very small bathroom, which came out just as we had hoped and planned. Ed is easy to work with, always returns calls, and keeps to an agreed on schedule. If you’re looking for a company to do home renovations, you can’t go wrong with Shea. Their work is top notch, and I highly recommend them!

Weve owned our home in Harwich for 14 years. From the start, it needed plenty of remodeling and refreshing. Shea Custom Carpentry quickly became our go to for major renovations at our home. My husband and I worked with Ed because we saw the work he and his team did around the corner from us. Each of us separately noted that this was the team for us based on the outcome of the project, the teams work ethic on site, and just the general feel of the collaborative work effort as we walked by...theyre that good.
