    Ohio Water Heaters provides grade A customer service and is focused more on doing what is right for their customers than making a quick buck.Tammy with customer service and our installer, Jordan were amazing to work with and I would recommend them to anyone.Jordan came out 3 separate times to review the issues we were having and tried his best to help resolve the issue before we ultimately had to replace our hot water heater.They were very prompt with their responses and got us taken care of same day once it was decided we needed the replacement.

    Ohio Water Heaters is 5 star across the board. 1 - Excellent communication… this one is big & Mike communicated with us before (gathering info & explaining our options), during (telling us why this product was the best fit, explaining the modes, etc.), and after (making sure everything was working as expected). 2 - Timeliness… we were scheduled immediately & they arrived when they said they would. 3 - Professionalism… knowledgeable & total cleanup after installation.     Water heater leak started meaning we had days before it quit completely and are going out of town in a week. Decided to get quote from here bc of high star google rating and being family owned and within minutes had a real person reach out (Tammy and Micheal)! I was so happy to not be placed through an automated gauntlet of harassment. We knew what we wanted and that it had to be soon. Pricing was simple and they offer military discounts, comes with a warranty, and financing was offered without upselling pressure or needing knowledge of this kind of appliance. Work was scheduled within 12 hours! Good communication for techs arrival with the ability to be flexible when I needed extra time before the appointment. Garrett, the tech, was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and treated us like friends! The job was done quickly and correctly. All our questions were answered and we didnt have to clean up after him. Garrett is who I would choose for any future plumbing issue we ever have! Less than 10 minutes after the job, Tammy reached back out to make sure we were satisfied and email confirmations of everything. I cant think of a way this potentially stressful process could have gone better or we could have developed confidence in a company faster than we did here. I am proud to be an Ohio water heaters customer and help promote their business style and customer service habits!

    Our 5+ year old Rheem water heater bit the dust prematurely. We called Ohio Water Heaters because they are on Rheems list of recommended pros. Im glad we called, because they were great. Very professional. They gave us information on potential fixes, including replacing the dead unit under warranty. There was no pressure from them to choose one solution versus another. For a number of reasons we chose to upgrade the system to a hybrid unit. They installed it very promptly and did a very thorough and professional job. We would definitely use them in the future and we highly recommend them.

    Needed a quick water heater replacement on a Sunday. Tammy at Ohio Water Heaters was one of the few people I spoke with who was knowledgeable/helpful and not just an answering service relaying a message. Tammy walked me through finding the information she needed to provide an estimate, provided an estimate, confirmed she could have someone out on Sunday or first thing Monday AM if I wanted to avoid the weekend surcharge. I opted for Sunday. Dan was scheduled for between 1-2 PM and arrived a few minutes after one. He walked me through what he was going to do and got to work. He took the time to answer any questions I had and went back over everything he did when he was done. Overall, the service from Dan was great. He was borough and efficient. The pricing was competitive and fair, even with the weekend surcharge, which was not out of line. If you need a water heater replacement, planned or not, Ohio Water Heaters should definitely be on your call list.

    When I replaced my water heater filter, I asked for the part number so I could do some comparative shopping. It turns out that there is a right and a wrong filter, and the manufacturer uses the same part number for both. Mike and his team have gone out of therir way, at no cost to me, to figure this out. Could not be happier.I had my first post install service call. The plumber was at my house as soon as possible. He showed me how to use the app (Yay, another app!) and the display to troubleshoot issues that are under my control. This one was user error, make sure you clean ALL of the filters. Again, I could not be happier with my decision.

    OWH was very responsive and able to come out within a couple hours of being called. Blake took the time to diagnose the problem and gave us options ranging from repairs to replacement. He obviously knows his stuff, was friendly, patient, and we appreciated the fact that he didn’t immediately jump to replacement. We did decide to go with replacement. Blake had a tank on his truck so could replace the tank immediately. Price was fair. Highly recommend.

    Our water heater tank gave out so we contacted them asking when the soonest they could come in was. They completely replaced it within 20 hours of it breaking! That’s amazing service. They were professional, kind, and explained everything so well. We had Austin as our tech and he was incredible. He even explained how our old water heater was not only not up to code, but surprisingly lasted as long as it did!Price wise was comparable to other quotes we were seeing and wanted to work with a local company.     Our aged water heater has been limping along for some time now and would require a $400 fix, so when it gave up the ghost I called Mike (and scheduling) in late morning.     I had a 14 year old tankless water heater that needed replaced. I had gotten quotes from several other companies before contacting Ohio Water Heaters. Mike was able to quote me over the phone and was significantly cheaper than the others. Not only was the quote fast and painless, but he was able to get me on the schedule for the next morning which was great because my unit had started leaking quite a bit of water. The workers showed up promptly on time and were extremely courteous and professional. Chris was very thorough with the install, explained everything he did and even showed me the basic maintenance for it. I am very happy overall with the job and the price! Definitely would recommend!

    My wife and I had a new home that required a well. The company that drilled the well told us that they do not make the connection to the home and that it was the responsibility of home center to make the connection, but the home center stated that it was not their responsibility. Since we could not move into the house until a final inspection was completed, and that could not be completed until the water was completely hooked up, I called Ohio Water Heaters. I spoke the Mike on a Wednesday afternoon and he had someone there the next morning to take care of the issue. I highly recommend Ohio Water heaters.

    I had no idea what the problem was when I called for my husband who was trying to follow a YouTube video. When I got to speak to the representative for this company he told me what the cost would be for him to come look at it. And then he did something that shocked me. He started asking questions and walked my husband through the steps to light the pilot. I have never had such an experience in my life. He kept asking questions until he got to the bottom of what was going on and my husband understood what he was doing. He made it easy to understand and follow for someone who does not work in this field. If I ever have to have a replacement or something that needs hands on I know who I’m calling because I’ve never felt more reassurance in a single phone call than this man gave me and my husband. 10/10 would recommend to family and friends and complete strangers. Thanks again!May 28th 2024. I bought a new refrigerator w/ ice and water dispenser. I called today and spoke w/ Tammy (super nice we have spoken several times since January 2023 wrt my homes plumbing needs) Agian, Ohio water heaters (OWH) helped me again. Technician Dan was at my house about 2 hours later... Dan and had a short discussion as there was a need to run an extension line from the cold water and he took it from there.     This was one of the best experiences in a long time. Two months ago they helped me troubleshoot my tankless water heater over the phone. They came out yesterday with the owner and a tech to determine the water heater was in perfect working order and helped find a plumbing issue from a remodel they did not cause. After their guidance and talking to my contractor we isolated the problem and corrected it very easily. They were quick, polite, good at explaining the system, and professional. These guys have earned any water heater work well into the future for me.

    I cold called this business (from seeing them listed as a Rheem certified retailer) for some help troubleshooting an error code on my tankless hot water heater. To be fair I did not purchase anything from this business, simply called asking for help. The guy that answered the phone could not have been nicer. The error code was for a “water leak” as there was water inside the unit. Turns out my daughter had sprayed our garden hose into the intake/exhaust pipe. We were on the phone for 15 or so minutes during which he had me send him multiple pictures so he could get a better idea as to what was going on. All of this to say this guy went though a lot of trouble to help. Hopefully this helps someone on the fence about using these guys.

My overall impression is that they are good guys, not in it just to sell more stuff.

    Initially came out to fix a small gas leak with a fitting going to the tankless water heater. They noted while here that the drain pipe had not been properly run, so they came back to fix that issue as well. They noticed a leak in an overhead PCV pipe and they fixed that too. No Charge for these two visits. They took responsibility for the work that had not been done properly and remedied the situation promptly. The owner and the techs who came to the house were very friendly, courteous, and responsive. Would hire them again.

    Tankless water heater was misbehaving since Christmas Day deep freeze which also burst a couple of pipes; pilot would not stay lit. Pipe issue addressed respectably, and perseverance with the water heater finally has it working again, though it took a while to get parts in. OWH is a tad on the pricey side, but you get your moneys worth. Their work is professional and high-quality. Our service tech was a great guy named Chris. Any issues with tankless water heaters, OWH are def the go-to people IMO.

    I contacted home warranty because of a possible gas leak. I was told the water heater needed some parts to be replaced. After waiting for almost one month without hot water I decided to hire someone myself.Mike from water heaters come out the same day I called.     Wife and I are first time home builders. Didn’t have the best contractor and found this out really fast when we didn’t have hot water. Called Ohio Water Heaters and they sent someone out that day. Long story short, we finally got hot water! Mike pointed out a few other things that our builder did wrong. Him and his employee were both extremely knowledgeable and very personable. Customer service is sort of a lost art nowadays but these guys were fantastic.     This company is Awesome! I am a first time home buyer and as soon as we moved into our new home the A/c stopped cooling. I was told by our home Warranty that we had to replace the whole unit.     I recently had a leaking problem occur with my 3 year old Bradford White (Heat pump) water heater. After going to Bradford Whites website and finding Contractors in my area, it led me to call Ohio Water Heaters (Pickerington, OH) where I spoke with the Owner, Mike. After Mike listened to me describe my issue, he said to me, I can either come out to your house and go through a thorough diagnostic and fix-it process myself, or, I can try to save you some money and tell you what you could try to do yourself to diagnose and fix your problem. Then, he literally gave me specific step-by-step instructions how to fix it myself. I decided to give it a try and I did exactly what he said. In the end, Mike was 100% correct about my water heaters problem and the plan to fix it. Its always great having someone to call who you have high confidence in, and the next time I need a plumber, I am definitely calling Mike!

    Service was excellent. I own a farmhouse that was built in 1900. The existing water heat was in the oldest part of the cellar. The well water and dampness had taking its toll on it. When I called Ohio Water Heaters, I was able to speak with the service technician. He suggested installing a 50 gallon Rheem Marathon water heater. The composite tank has a lifetime warranty. When the service technicians arrived we decided to relocate the water heater to a newer section of the cellar that is drier. They installed the new tank and removed the old. The new tank required new copper lines with pro-press shutoff valves and fittings, as well as new electrical service. The technicians were professional and courteous. I will use their services in the future.

    With our luck, the water heater went out on the day we were supposed to leave for our vacation. Service Olympians came out and replaced our water heater the same day and we still got to leave on schedule!

    The company has been great to work with. When I called about getting a new water heater Tammy was very pleasant to talk with and did an excellent job explaining the different options. A few days later Andrew and Jordan came out to do the installation. They did an awesome job with the install, they were super polite, and they took some extra time to go over how everything worked. The next morning Tammy checked in to make sure all was working properly and I got everything set ok. I will definitely be reaching out to them again with future plumbing questions/issues. Thanks!
