My old water heater was installed 24 years ago. As the holidays loom, we decided to look for a contractor to replace the water heater. A call to Harding was all we needed. After a few questions about our needs and challenges. They provided us with several options and price ranges to choose from. After selecting our best option they had a team ready to install the same day! There were even more challenges after they arrived which they were able to resolve. The installation was neat, well executed, and professionally done. Water heaters arent supposed to last 24 years but the quality of the equipment and installation Hardings provided assures me that this new unit will last a long time.

I always appreciate the great work these people do. Theyll take care of you when you need them. Over the years they have:1) Quickly replaced a failed septic pump in an engineered system for my in-laws. A messy, difficult job that was an emergency for folks in their 90s!2) Installed new heating/air-conditioning systems in two rental properties I owned. Both jobs had many difficulties due to the ancient nature of the old systems and cramped basement conditions. Huge improvements!3) Snaked a sewer main late on a Sunday night, when tree roots clogged the line and NO water could be run anywhere in the house. Im forever grateful!4) Replaced ancient (70+ years) boilers, on my recommendation, for a buddy of mine, in two commercial buildings on Main St, Geneseo. Again, huge improvements. These guys can do just about anything.5) Recently came by my house to recharge the refrigerant in our central AC unit - a big deal, as the heat was making my wifes illness worse!And you can bet theyll be the first ones I call when I replace the old heating system in my own house in the near future.Thanks for everything youve done through the years!

Thanks to Harding we will not have to enter this years cold season without heat! We are in the process of buying an older house that still had its (almost) original boiler furnace. They were quick to get to our house (we live outside of the Perry area and they never hesitated on wanting to help us) to inspect and even send a second guy (SAME DAY!) to give us a pretty good quote. They were quick to schedule the complete install of our new unit and the guys who came and worked on it were amazing! So friendly and professional who made sure we had all of the questions we could think of answered before they left (they even took the ancient broken system with them.) They made sure to walk us through the upkeep once winter ends and double tested everything to make sure it was going to do what it was supposed to do! Now that we have our full unit replaced we can sleep peaceful (and toasty warm) this winter and for the winters to come. Gladly recommend these guys for any questions, repairs, or replacements!

Furnice clean and repair, this all went fine until the tech discovered the new fan was broken (housing had broken) now ordering new one. Called to check if fan was in and it was but they had me schuked to complete job a week later. I called and complained that they were out previously and the furnice was appart abd that tues was a week away (NO), I called back and they would check if it could be done sooner, the next day in earky morning was just fine with me. Tech finished the job 20 minutes later. I would recommend them however they did some shoudy work in the past for me but ended up allright. I think a little expensive but who knows now days

The first thing I tell people about Harding is that if they schedule an appointment, they show up. Ive had other contractors and service people keep us waiting, need to be called, or just never show up. Its frustrating and time-wasting, and has not ever happened with Harding in the years since we started using them. Weve had them do both regular maintenance and repairs on our furnace and water-boiler heating system, as well as installing a toilet and sink in a bathroom and various other plumbing repairs. Being able to rely on them for scheduled work is great, but I also know I had to call on a terrible winter night for a leak in the heating system on the second floor that was flooding a room - Shane came out at the worst time of night and got it fixed. There have been a few occasions over the years when a technician may have made a mistake or missed something, but those were remedied as soon as we let the office know about it. Shane is always patient and knowledgeable and willing to share his expertise, which was also helpful in redoing a commercial space I rented. Tara keeps the business running smoothly and makes it look effortless. I know their work takes them across the state, but I always feel lucky to have someone in my hometown I can rely on like Hardings. (Oh my gosh, like that time I was visiting family in overseas and the neighbor who checked on the house found an issue with the furnace? Harding is who I know I can call from Australia in the middle of winter and trust to get it done right!)
