John did an excellent job installing recessed lights in my home along with installing a generator inlet and interlock switch. John was on time to perform the work scheduled. He covered everything with plastic and cleaned as he moved room to room installing the lights. He left my home as clean as it was before he started. I hired Coastal Blue Electric to install an exhaust fan from scratch in a bathroom with no existing fan. Fan, wiring, new switches, hose, soffit exit vent, and a GFCI outlet. Recently worked with Coastal to install the Iotty Smart Home light switches. This was a joint effort. I am an IT guy but needed an electrician to install the switches. I knew I could not do it because my install would probably start a fire. They were able to get the switches installed despite the crazy three way electrical configuration that needed to be done. They even went above and beyond to find a YouTube video to assist me with the final 3 way programming of the switches. Everything is working great! The electrical is exactly what I needed and the video that they sent me let me complete the programming without ANY issues.

Hired Coastal Blue Electric to complete a whole home rewire going from aluminum to cooper. Deja and John were great! They took great care of our property and explained in detail the entire process. During the couple week project, they worked hard to make sure that they left us with power and cleaned up throughly after each day, even labeled the wiring in the power box They were punctional and were competitive in pricing, i even had a few companies decline to bid on the job. John at Coastal Blue Electric was referred to me by the property manager of my apartment building to check recent faulty rewiring done by another electrician. He isdetail oriented, punctual, and respectful of tenants with whom he schedules appointments with directly so that he can ask questions and listen to their experiences with snapping circuit breakers. He opened the circuit breaker panel and immediately found and fixed questionable work by the other electrician. He labelled every outlet and wall switch cover with the breaker number so that we can trace and diagnose potentially faulty wiring and breakers. John provides good value working efficiently and explaining his work.
