    I was surprised how quickly I got on the schedule. The Seal a Deck man, Reggie, was here bright and early and finished phase 1 by the end of day. He returned in a couple of days, bright and early, and finished sanding and staining by the end of that day. All in all a great experience and my decks look fantastic! Even my neighbors stop by to say how they love the transformation of my decks.

    We had great experience with Seal A Deck. What we originally thought would be a fairly standard deck refinishing and restoration turned out to be much a bigger project. After the team found a lot of rot, we decided to replace our entire railing system. That made the project a lot more expensive of course. We had not planned on the work and it took much more time. But the team was fantastic and transparent about cost, timing, and options. They worked hard to get us a fair price. The deck really looks fabulous, and we are very pleased. Highly recommend.

    Wilfer arrived on time and was very respectful of the property. He communicated the cleaning process and staining at each step. The company updated me as each phase was completed. The cleaning process restored a 30 year old deck almost to new condition. Most importantly the stain looks fantastic. We are very satisfied and would use Seal A Deck again.

    One of the best and most professional people I have used in my current project. Every part of the project was explained in details along with the timelines, The people showed up on time, despite the fact that weather god was not helping, the men continued during rain and drizzle. Micheal was the main point of contact and he was always available to answer questions and overall project. Evelyn was the person to coordinate every small detail, and Nicole was the magician behind the scene. I would totally recommend this team, and if any form of information is needed, the relevant team member is always available to respond.

    Frank was very responsive, informative, and professional during the estimation and planning process. Their quote was in line with others I received, so these qualities really made the difference! The project was completed quickly (as fast as they could despite times we had to wait on city inspectors). Our project manager Keri was also great!     We recently worked with Seal-a-deck to re-deck/re-rail our back deck and re-deck our front stairs. The communication throughout the entire project was excellent and were very happy with the results!The team was super responsive, on time, very friendly and professional, and handled all of our requests/nit-picks with no issues. The project manager (Evelyn) regularly checked in with us, and whenever we weren’t 100% happy with any detail, they promptly scheduled the team to come and fix it until it was exactly how we wanted it.Really exceptional customer service and overall a great experience! We highly recommend Seal-a-deck, and will definitely use them in the future for other projects!

    Update - Dan and Antonio from Seal-A-Deck came by today, and said they understands the issue and they are willing to fix without hesitation. I really appreciate their attitude toward the criticism and make things right, and will be happy to work with them in the future.I usually don’t leave bad reviews, but lack of communication between the sales team and actual person who fix or clean the deck was unbelievable. Their cleaning was subpar, and also they fixed the deck board in a way that I would ‘t agree without communication. I felt like what they promise to do is very different than what the actual outcome is. Just disappointed.

    These guys are really great. The communicate and show up when they say they will. Maybe a little on the pricey side but you can cut 30% off of your bill by shopping but we have found if we do that we need our deck refreshed every other year. Seal A Deck staining looked good for 6 or 7 years.

    Seal-A-Deck did a nice job staining both my screened in porch floor and outside deck. It was a tough month because there was so much rain, but Dan kept in touch until we could finally get a day with sun. Antonio, who did the actual staining was very nice and professional. Also, a hard worker. He was able to complete my entire project in one day using the teak oil based stain and it looks terrific! :)

    Our Ipe deck looks great!I tried to stain my deck a year ago and it did not come out well. No penetration into the wood and we managed to get stain on the composite railings. Our deck builder even expressed his disappointment about what I did to his beautiful deck.Im really glad I call Seal A Deck this year. They came right out and finished within the week. The decking looks wonderful and they even managed to get the stain off the railings. Were super happy with the result and cant wait to entertain on our newly beautiful deck.

    True professionals! Our deck, although fairly new, was not sealed properly by another contractor last year. As a result, we had severe discoloration/mold that left the wood in complete ruin. The seal a deck crew came in and treated the mold, sanded down and renewed the wood to its original state and stained it to perfection! Would gladly use them for maintenance for many years to come and strongly recommend them to anyone who needs their deck to shine again.

    We researched 3 different companies to renovate our front and back porch.     Our deck looks like new! We had finished our 20 year old mahogany deck with Sikkens, which looks great when its put on, but quickly lifted, leaving an annual chore of sanding and refinishing. We would have changed products, but even a floor sander would not take off all the finish. So we felt we were stuck - until we came upon Seal a Deck. Their crew stripped off all the old finish, replaced some questionable boards, and refinished it to better than new condition. The crew was neat and thorough and the office was extremely organized and had the crew there right on time. If youre looking to refinish your deck and want it done right Seal a Deck is the place to go!!

    I recently used Seal-a-Deck to refinish my 8 year old cedar deck at my house. It was gray, beat up by the winters, only sealed/stained once 8 years ago and totally neglected. Since I had no business trying to tackle the job myself and was utterly embarrassed by the condition it was in I called Seal-a-Deck to make my problem go away. Im glad I did because now it looks better than it did on day one 8 years ago. They power washed, they sanded, they stained...and they sealed. It looks amazing and was totally worth doing. For me it was two guys over two days where they took the right amount of time than I would have done to get the job done. They were methodical and took the time to do it right. Great job! Now I just wish my deck was bigger!

    It did take a while to get a quote given how busy they are. However, once they were ready to provide a quote and proposal, the process was very quick and smooth. We opted for the level 2 deck treatment and teak stain. I am so happy with the final result and am just amazed by how different our deck looks.     The staff at SEAL A DECK replied to inquiries quickly and kept me informed about the cost and status of my project (re-staining my deck). They clearly answered all of my questions about the project. SEAL A DECK had restored and stained my deck three years ago (30+ year old pine wood deck), so this work was to maintain the beautiful appearance of my deck. All went smoothly, and the two step process (including cleaning followed by staining) was efficiently and beautifully completed by Reggie. My deck looks new again and ready for the start of another spring/summer of use.

    There were a number of considerations in choosing Seal-a-Deck to clean and seal my 25 year old redwood deck. First were the reviews, which were very positive, second was the very fair quote for the work, but I was finally sold by how responsive and patient Mr. Kaloutas, the owner was when we reviewed the job, and my concerns. After one phone call I felt very comfortable with the prospect of working with this company. Since the work was weather dependent, it was impressive how communicative his office was about the time and date of the work, even providing updates about the weather forecast. The Seal-a-Deck crew did the first part of the job while we werent around, and returned to finish on a Saturday so the timing would work. The crew was polite professional and very efficient, and in the end did a fantastic job in making our deck look better than it has since it was built in the early 1990s. Great work, fair and competitive pricing and remarkable customer service and professionalism.This is a great company, I cant recommend them more highly for your deck job.
