    The best experience Ive ever had in terms of someone working at my house!I called Pratt Plumbing after my hot water heater died late one night. I couldnt get in touch with any of the commonly referred plumbers in my town the following day. It was the holiday week and I couldnt get anyone to answer their phone, and the few that did were booked at least a week out. Pratt answered the phone immediately and the owner was sent to my house within an hour. Steve (the owner) could not have been nicer. He pointed out different options that were available to me, but was never pushed me/tried to upsell me...just made me aware of information and options. He scheduled me for service on the following Monday (this was on Friday), but it was eventually moved up to the next day (Saturday). I have 3 young kids, and Steve really wanted to help me get this done ASAP. He gave me a veteran discount of 10%, and I loved that he embraced modern technology. I received an easy link to pay my balance, and (unlike other plumbers) he accepted my card (another guy I had used in the past only took cash, which just wasnt possible for something like a hot water heater). He sends confirmation emails to lock up appointment times, so theres no confusion over what was discussed verbally over the phone.The following day I was visited by his team, which included Derik and Christian. They could not have been more professional. They were supposed to come at noon but were able to come a few hours sooner, which I welcomed in light of having no hot water. I was told that the job could take up to 4 hours, but they were done in half that time. They even made an additional small repair, free of charge.The company also files the necessary permits with your town, which leaves you with one less thing to worry about.I plan on recommending this company to all of my friends and family in the area. Absolute 10 out of 10.

    Absolutely the best! I called them and within a few hours, Sam was at my front door. He diagnosed the problem and took care of it right away.     Once again Great service from Pratt plumbing. This job had a goal in mind to stop the damn leak and they found the problem and fixed within a few hours. I’m grateful to have these guys around. Steve the owner arrived on time in the morning with his lead plumber and an apprentice. Working on old homes and fixing previous plumbers mistakes can be challenging but Pratt Plumbing always strives to make it right and tries to go above and beyond to make the customer happy.

    From the beginning of our communications with Steve and the plumbers and apprentices from Pratt we were pleasantly surprised that they were so responsive. We we had questions, they responded right away. They drew a schematic of our very complex plumbing (many poor add ons from previous owners) They walked through the house numerous times with an engineer and re-measured every square inch of our system. They gave us a plan in writing and in detail. In the middle of the install, they realized they could give us more than promised by adding more zones, they communicated that to us. The people working in the house were considerate of the noise, cleaned up every day after themselves and were communicative and kind. When they start in the morning, and left at the end of the day, we received a text telling us they were starting/done.We could not be happier with Pratt. We would highly recommend them to anyone. Even our general contractor, after seeing their work, hired them for another job. Thats how you know how great they are.

    Were renovating a home that is in the middle of where the Pascack Brook horseshoes on the Westwood/Hillsdale/River Vale borders... total rip out & replace of all existing plumbing in the house. Everything has gone better than anyone should ever hope for, especially given the scale of the project. The remnants of Hurricane Ida put the new sump pumps to the test... water entering a pit from two perimeter french drains, and the pumps are staying ahead of the water!! Perfect recommendations and perfect execution of the plan! Many thanks to Steven Hopper and his team! First storm of this magnitude that DIDNT leave our basement totally flooded. Whew!!!As for organization... customers receive email reminders for service appointments and THEY SHOW UP! Refreshing attitude toward customer service!P.S. I have more than a slight tendancy toward OCD, and the hot & cold supply lines are a work of art distributing throughout this 65+ year old home!

    Pratt Plumbing replaced the hot water heating unit, efficiency unit that made both heat and hot water. Major replacement did it well, past all town plumbing inspection. Everything flowed nicely.     The best way to put it is EXPERTS IN THEIR CRAFT! Steve and his crew came in and saved the day, my home went from some heat to no heat in the winter season, Steve searched through multiple suppliers to find typical long lead parts over night! It’s difficult to find experts in triangle boilers and these guys are experts in that plus more!

    I met Steve and his guys while I was renovating a house I recently purchased. The GC had brought in a plumber who I was not impressed with, so I decided to bring in my own. I have worked with many plumbers over the years, but when I met with Steve I was immediately impressed with his willingness to spend time answering my questions. Some of the other outfits I had look at the job pumped out a quick estimate kept it moving. Steve gave me options, and went through the whys of each. There are plumbers and then there are plumbers. Steve is the real deal. Excellent communication, honest answers, and the work was impeccable. As things developed with the house I had a few other jobs come up and I got to meet some of the guys who work for Steve. Their work was equally impressive. You can tell that the culture of this group does not allow for cut corners. You can also tell a lot about a mans character by the way he treats his employees. It is clear that Steve cares about his guys and his work. His reputation for professionalism and attention to detail is well deserved. I can be a tough customer, I have fired several contractors during the course of this project. So believe me when I tell you, if you want it done right you are in the right place. You may be able to get a handyman to do it cheaper, but no one will do it better. PRATT is worth every penny.
