Added a Tesla charger in our garage and they did great. Our box is in a finished basement on the opposite side of the house. They were able to route through with only removing a couple small spots of drywall and repaired when they were done. Placed it in the garage exactly where I wanted it. Looks great with everything sealed up. Inspector approved immediately on the first round. Team was professional, polite, didn’t slack, and house was as clean as it was before they started. Would definitely recommend or use them again if needed. Photos in order, start by fuse box, 30’ soffit, entrance to maintenance room, across maintenance room, through garage wall, mounted charger, sealed end.

Had a really great experience working with Travis and his guys. Had some faulty outlets and they came out same day and fixed them. Had them come back to install an outlet for an EV charger. They were very helpful in explaining everything and making sure it was set up just the way I wanted it. I called and less than a week they were out. Tons of dimmers some rockers, a newer style dimmer compatible with Alexa as well. Swapped out light and also took the receiver out of my fan and put in my dual dimmer for that since my remote broke and I preferred what we changed to now with dual dimmer. 2 hours later tons of work, cool guys to chat with and great price. Super impressed thanks guys! Oh and one of the sets of dimmers was controlled in 2 spots so more complicated so they worked hard.

Received a prompt response to my original inquiry. Good email and text communication, shared pictures of the job. Travis wanted to make sure he got the job right so he came for an in-person visit (job was replacement of 9 undercabinet halogen puck lights with LED puck lights). He selected & provided the correct new light fixtures. The replacement was scheduled within a couple of days. His 2 staff members showed up on-time, and were very courteous and careful. Travis personally came as well to both assist and supervise. The staff members cleaned up afterwards and the job was completed in just over an hour.I would recommend Travis and his company and plan on using them in the future if the need arises.

We just got our tesla wall charger installed and we couldnt be happier with the work done by Nuco Electric. Travis was very prompt with his responses and the quote we got was very reasonable. Once we accepted the quote, Clint came in and he was soo good at what he does. He was very patient answering all our questions and he made sure we understand the process. On the day of installation we got a call from Clint and him & Mitch showed up on time and the way they worked clearly showed they are the experts in this. They got the whole installation done in about 1.5 hrs, once done they cleaned up everything. Clint walked us through what was done and once again answered all our follow up questions thoroughly. Over all, its been a great experience working with Nuco from Quote to installation. We would definitely give them a call for any future electrical work at our home.

They also looked over a lighting feature that I thought was damaged due to overflowing water, which he checked out and threw in at no cost. Travis, owner of Nuco Electric and his crew are very courteous, immediately answering calls/ questions, provides updates to time of arrival and after reviewing jobs quotes a fair price that is the same price at completion of the job.Travis and his crew took great care in your home, wearing booties while working in the home, providing covers for any furniture and even vacuums the area when done. However, after coming in person, Travis realized less work was needed and adjusted his service fee 28% down. I was referred to NuCo Electric to help with the install of a Tesla wall charger. We quickly discovered that my house did not provide the correct amperage to accommodate the charger. While this was disappointing to hear, Travis and his team patiently walked me through what options we had available. We formulated a plan that was much larger than I anticipated but ultimately provided exactly what I was looking for.The entire process included running a new electric line to my house, replacing an outdated and hazardous fuse panel and finally installing the charger in my garage. From the moment of first contact all the way through the final install, NuCo Electric continued to impress me. I had a difficult time finding an electrician who was accepting work in my new construction subdivision in Plainfield, IL. Despite being busy, Travis and Kyle were able to squeeze me in on their calendar. It was difficult to find someone who would not only answer the phone but also could take five minutes to talk about the job and give me a ballpark estimate over the phone without enduring a $100 service call as many other electrical companies charge. Another thing I noticed was many of the competing electrical companies had phony, generic sounding reviews from people with only one historical review in their history - artificially bumping up their own business. I wanted to take the time to write a genuine review because the service and quality of work I received were outstanding.In my new construction home I had 3 light fixtures and 7 outlets on one 15 amp fuse. My dedicated garage beer fridge immediately tripped the breaker. Running a 15 amp miter saw would dim the lights. I needed an electrical overhaul. I asked Travis to install a 60 amp sub-panel in my garage, running power from the main in my basement to the sub in the garage. The job in general sounds simple but the quality of work and attention to detail really impressed me. Little things like caulking & spray foaming the inlet hole, perfect conduit bends, using a drop cloth in my entry way etc.If you have any electrical needs, Travis at NuCo is your guy.

After hearing that I was in a pinch, Travis agreed to to at least review the job.After an on-site review of my needs, he determined that whoever did my hot tub work, used many of the wrong parts and that would need to be replaced as well (now a much bigger job). Travis (and Clint) replaced my hot tub wiring, completed my above ground pool wiring all within a week.All I can say is that you can really tell when a job is completed by a true professional...what a difference! Used superier parts which will last a lifetime versus a few yewars. Its a great feeling to know when a job was done correctly by a professional who truely cares to get the job done right especially when the safety of your familiy is concerned!I highly recommend NuCo and Travis!
