    Dom did an excellent job managing my requests, explaining each request and what it would require to complete. He was respectful of our home and did a complete safety inspection of our electrical. His ability to quote, execute and bill for completed projects was extremely efficient. Our latest experience with Mister Sparky was extensive adding a 20 amp circuit to our second floor home office. This was a big job but Dom and Terry a great comic team, professionally added within the existing conduit to cleanly bring power to our second floor home office. An added bonus they logically spaced and labeled our electric panel. Thank you to Dom and Terry for managing and executing our electrical projects.

    Terry and Brandon were awesome. Took their time, and offered suggestions to make the hookup and placement of our new stove even better. Having them back to help with some other issues that we discussed.Had the team return to do more work in our basement. Included team member Dominic this time.     I cant imagine a more professional firm out there. Charles at Mr Sparky is our new go to electrician. Even all the screws are lined up. Who takes this kind of attention to detail anymore its unbelievable.(UPDATE 9/5/23) Just had the Mr Sparky team back out to the house this time to install charging for a new EV Car as well as adding a whole house Surge Protector system. Man they always impress me how capable they are and how clean they work, and just all around nice people. I got 2 quotes for this job (which I likely didnt need to) and they even more competitive than the first quote. Just love using them!

    The technician, Dan, who came out to assess our needs was friendly, communicated with us clearly, and made sure to let us know where we had options. During his visit a GFCI blue but wouldnt reset and he was going to replace that for us, but then immediately notified us that it would not be necessary once he discovered the true source of the issue, saving us money. Highly recommend Dan and Mister Sparky.

    Charles and Abel were professional, very friendly and did fantastic work. My wife and I love the pendant light fixture installation they did for us, it is the finishing touch to our kitchen remodel. Not only did they install the light fixtures, but their input regarding placement of the fixtures was extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. They also installed a new outlet and completed a panel refresh, replacing all of our breakers and cleaned up the wiring/routing. We couldnt be happier and will be using Mister Sparky again!

    Terri stopped by our place to diagnose an electrical problem. He gave us 3 options on his we could go about it. I found Terri too be very dedicated and wasnt in a hurry to quickly diagnose and fix something. He got to the root of the problem and identified that incorrect wiring and receptacle in the radon fan was the culprit causing other circuits to trip. He went on to separate all the circuits with individual breakers. I was impressed that I got same day service just before a huge storm. Thanks Terri for your hard work and dedication!

    Sam from Mr. Sparky answered our call to inspect an outside GFI plug that had stopped working. He performed the Safety Inspection, then replaced 3 GFIs. One of the GFIs was for our Jacuzzi tub, which had been inoperable, we thought due to a bad motor. Lo and behold, once he replaced that GFI, it started right up! We have called upon Mr. Sparky for all our electrical needs for the last six years, since we moved to Oswego from California. They have added outlets and fixtures in our basement, replaced all the battery-operated fire alarms with combination smoke/carbon monoxide detectors, and installed a large backyard spotlight to enable night visibility—to name a few!     I called to set up quote. Dom showed up on time as promised, was super friendly and even commented on my good work to that point in my project. He left me with 4 quotes that were tailored to my electrical project needs and when i said i would think about it he didnt pressure me into making a decision right away.     Terry came at 8am to evaluate our home, we had power surges and flickering lights. After explaining our options we said fix everything, then Dan and Sam came and stayed until after 4pm working, in garage, basement all our rooms, and replaced the smoke detectors.     This review has been a long time coming. From the customer service representative to schedule my appointment, to the electricians, to the quality of the work… This place screams excellence ! The crew was able to install a new electrical panel, new meter, new mast on roof, AFCI arc with ground at the panel, and they moved my panel higher too. Did I mention they even took care of the wires hanging from my house to the garage.. I don’t have to duck anymore. :) All this in one day since I needed it done before I moved into my new home! They offered financing and even gave me an estimate for my next project in the attic. Sam was very patient waiting for me since he had to wait for me to arrive to pay him. Sorry !

    I had what presented as an emergency late on Friday night of a holiday weekend. I cold called a few places based on reviews and who claimed they offered after hour service. This was the only place that actually answered the phone and got me taken care of. Charles, whom I spoke with, was very reassuring about the situation and did his best to see if he could get me someone out asap all while talking me off the panic ledge. He took his time and didn’t make me feel rushed or like I’m cutting into his Friday night. Dan, who did the emergency service call, was fabulous. He sacrificed his evening and possibly some sleep to come over at 10pm to look into my issue. Not only did he take care of it, meaning I could actually sleep at night knowing we were safe, but he found a totally non-related issue that wasn’t urgent but definitely should be taken care of, which he offered to do and did while he was there. He also offered another unrelated suggestion for something else that would offer additional protection for the home which I will definitely schedule to do. He took his time, presented me with options without any pressure, and went above and beyond. This company is now my speed dial go-to for anything electrical for future needs.

    Terry came to our house to provide an estimate on some electrical work. Terry was genuinely nice, professional, knowledgeable, and provided his expert opinion on the locations of recessed light placements in our Family Room. He was able to also address our very old, wired smoke detectors which basically were nonfunctional. He explained installation, prep of the area, how long the project would take, etc. clearly and answered all our questions. The pricing of the project was appropriate, and we did move forward with our project.During installation Terry validated the placement of the recessed lights to ensure we were satisfied with the locations. He communicated with us throughout the project. He did a wonderful job preparing the areas and then cleaning up the area, thus there was no dust/mess. This is our first time working with Mister Sparky’s services and we could not be happier with the work that was done. Great customer service from start to finish. I would definitely recommend Mister Sparky and be very happy to have Terry do more work for us. We plan to utilize their services in the future!

To my surprise, I received a text with Sam’s photo that he was available to diagnose the outage Tue morning. During his assessment he noticed the kitchen ceiling fan blades had detached from the rotating mechanism. He provided an estimate to replace the fan and switch if I decided to pursue. As he had the availability to install a new fan that day, I proceeded to Menards to purchase a 52” fan per his instructions, which he installed effortlessly.     We had a tree branch break off during the windstorm, on Saturday afternoon, and it took down our powerline which pulled our electric meter from the house. ComEd said the electric meter would have to be put back in place before they could restore power.We called Mr. Sparky and they said a technician would call us as soon as possible. Charles was going to another job and called us on his way. We send pictures and he was able to go and get the materials he needed before he came to our house. Charles came at 9:30 at night and was completed by 11:30. Right before he finished he told us to call COM Ed so they could come out and get the power turned back on. They got here while he was putting his stuff away and they were able to restore power. So thankful for such a good/quick response from Mr. Sparky! Unfortunately it did not, but we were very impressed that Mr. Sparky went above and beyond to try to help us. After we acquired a new unit, it was installed at no additional charge. We highly recommend the company, and will rely on them exclusively in the future.

    We had to get an evaluation due to fire alarms going off. They came out the same day to inspect/evaluate. Put us at ease completely!     Both gentlemen were professional and knowledgeable. We needed a ceiling fixture installed in a room with a bedroom above. I knew they would have to cut into the ceiling drywall to run the wire. I feared a large patch job would be needed after. This was not the case, just some tape and mud. The cut drywall was reinstalled. They also looked at a low voltage panel I had questions about.     I called Mister Sparky about my 100 year old family home. Now a rental, the tenants had overloaded a circuit and shorted it out. I was fortunate to have Paul doing my work. He worked with me on the time, which was good when dealing with rentals. He showed me the cost at every stage, and worked very hard at finding the problem, which, thank goodness he found.     This is the 2nd time using Mister Sparky and the 2nd time with Charles. I have an older electrical panel that has begun to show its age and needs replacement.
