This is not my first experience with Aaron at Pi electric as he also put in a brand new panel for us. Both times he was not only professional, but very personable. This time we had some phantom electrical issues at my house, Aaron and his employee were in the crawl space for hours, found the problem and got everything fixed. They were straightforward, honest and fair priced. Will be using Pi for any further electrical work done!!! -

Aaron with Pi Electric was amazing. I was having outlet issues, my breakers wouldnt stop tripping. Aaron recognized that my panel was overloaded and I needed a new one. He was able to coordinate with PG&E and get me a new panel. His work was very clean and professional. He and his partner even helped me move a couch into the house. Really good guy who went above and beyond. -

Excellent service! These guys were great! We received a quote quickly, they showed up on the scheduled date and time. The work was completed as quoted, permits pulled and county inspection all in the same day. When finished, they showed us the new power main panel and everything was labeled for our information. Aaron very quickly responded when I got several referrals through the home advisor. It was difficult to find someone that knew how to replace a new panel on my very old infrared sauna but he proved himself very knowledgeable, responsible and did it quickly. He was very friendly and had a positive attitude which really helped. I have been having health issues and he made the whole process easy for me at a time when everything seemed overwhelming to me so I really appreciate him and the great job he did for me very much. :) -

Aaron at Pi Electric & Solar is fantastic! We were having some flickering recessed lights and he was able to replace them along with fix the attached wall switch. We also found out our electrical panel had some damage from a surge and needed replacing and worked with us to get our homeowners insurance to cover the replacement. He communicated well about timelines and what we needed. I couldnt have asked for a better company! And now we feel much safer knowing we have a properly working electrical box thats no longer a fire hazard! :) -

Have to give a big heads up to PI. They were very nice, prompt, and unlike others, actually answered their phone or text every time.Estimated two days but he got it done in a day. Even went above and beyond and went and got matching outdoor paint and painted my conduit they installed. Great guys -

I bought an older rental home that had strange wiring issues due to the way it was constructed and work done to it by a prior owner. I needed a company that could solve non-obvious, complex wiring issues. Aaron and Matt from Pi Electric and Solar were the perfect choice. They worked hard and fast. Crawling through cramped attic spaces, opening junction boxes, and meticulous trouble shooting were no problem at all. They were also affordable. I definitely received my moneys worth. The job was done professionally, thoroughly, and flawlessly over the course of two days. What I really appreciated was the extra time and effort they took to explain to me (a layman) what was going on and what was causing the issues. Both Aaron and Matt from Pi Electric and Solar exceeded my expectations and I am a very satisfied customer. I highly recommend. -

Aaron may have saved our home. We were experiencing significantly inflated PG&E bills and asked him to see if he could troubleshoot the issue. Aaron diagnosed the problem to our main panel which at some point in the past had a small electrical fire causing extensive damage. And ongoing power drain. He quickly determined the needed fix and rearranged his schedule so that he would be able to repair before it got worse. Very Profesional and efficient. Highly recommend! -

I called Pi Electric Solar after being referred to them by my father who had solar installed on his home five years ago. I spoke with Aaron the owner and he was very helpful and informed me that he could come out to assess the situation. He got right to work inspecting the electrical issue we were having and discovered that we were going to need a main electrical panel replaced since the panel was burned up. We got three quotes and Aarons prices were right in the middle I learned a lesson along time ago never to hire the lowest bidder.I Highly recommend hiring Pi electric and solar for your next electrical project. -

We were closing on a deal for a home my buyer had purchased and he requested an electrician to come out and inspect on the repairs the seller agreed to do. It was last minute and I needed an electrician to come out ASAP who was reasonably priced.( I had called about 6 or 7 other electricians ). I had an outlet in the house that would randomly lose power. It was determined that my electrical panel was the cause and needed to be replaced. Aaron clearly explained what needed to happen, why, and next steps. Throughout the process, he continually communicated with me and coordinated the work with SMUD. Because of the age of the panel, the electrical system needed to be brought up to code. Aaron had no problem handling the updates and my requests to make adjustments to improve the cosmetic appearance of those required code updates.Yes, a new panel is an expense that one doesnt look forward to!! Lets face it.. it just sits on your wall, we walk past it without bragging, like we would with a new barbeque... oh, wow! look at that beautiful electrical panel, and we dont think about it until something happens and then we realize how important it is on a daily basis. But the reality is that how often do you really replace your panel?? 25-50+ years. My thought is that it needs to be done right so it will work correctly and endure for a very long time and that might cost a little bit more but I would rather have a professional than a fly by night electrician.Aaron was there when he said he would be, finished the job in one day, made a clean install, cleaned up the work area, and provided a power unit so the house would have some temporary power for the house computer while the work was being done.I have since called Aaron back to look into fixing some faulty wiring from a patio cover installer. Aaron is now my go-to electrician! -

Pi electric helped us when we had an emergency blowout at our office. They were able to send someone out to get us up and running again the same day! They also helped us with a more in depth electrical issue and rewiring. Ken came out to inspect what was going on the day before our scheduled repair to make sure that they would be able to fix the problem. They took care of us and even called after to make sure everything was running properly. What great customer care!! We highly recommend Pi Electric! -

Heres the long & short of my experience with PI, for those that dont want to read my lengthy review and for those that do. Aaron, the owner & Joel, his assistant, showed up 15 min early & finished on time. They were courteous, well mannered, funny, professional, grateful for the Gatorade and large sports jugs I gave them (be courteous and keep your contractors hydrated and let them use your restroom if theyre going to be there all day) & cleaned up afterward.My electricity blew on Tues before labor day weekend. Scrolling through Google, I had called numerous electricians Tues, Wednesday and Thursday. All were booked out & the soonest I could get one to come out was late September, most in Oct! I finally got to PI on Thursday afternoon, Aaron answered & said he could come by after work to take a look. It turned out that it was far worse than I thought. My 40amp had fused to the panel, I needed the entire breaker box & breakers replaced! The avg time it takes to get permits, insurance claim adjusters, SMUD & inspectors to come out is about 7-10 business days. Aaron said, knowing the urgency, said he could get all the calls made, get permits, SMUD and inspection done tmrw & be here ready to go at 10a, again, this is Fri before labor day weekend. Aaron got here at 9:45 so he could get things ready for SMUD to come disconnect the electricity from the house. He & Joel were ready to go & with the exception of a lunch break, didnt stop until it was done. They did an awesome job & I couldnt have been more happy with their work ethic, knowledge and Management of the persons needed to come out so they could finish the project that day. Aaron called me Saturday morning to see if he could come by to recheck the job, as it was a hot day & wanted to make sure that they didnt miss anything before the inspector arrived to sign off on Tues. He thanked me again for the Gatorade and large sports jugs & showed me what they had done, where the paperwork was for the inspector and even where he would sign. Asked if I needed anything else & because of the great experience I had with him, told him there are a few little things that would like him to wire up inside the house later. To that, my point is, if Im going to rehire him to come back out, of course I am going to recommend him to everyone I know that needs an electrician and or solar panels!Thanks Aaron & Joel, you are Lifesavers!
