I had bids that were tossing words like “you need this for code… without giving me resources to check the code…Sammy was specific in his info.Would I recommend Sammy and Grid Plus Electric? Saman is outstanding. I can’t say enough good things about this guy. Customer service is above and beyond. I had a tree take out my power and damage my old outdated box. Sam came out quoted me without trying to upsell me, told me the benefits of a 200 over a 100 set up and told me to make the choice. Which I chose to do. His work was so good when I called for scheduled the inspection the crew was already there to reattach my power due to the knowledge of the great work he does. Got the whole box replacement done in just a few hours and waited here until the inspector arrived. My wife and I recently bought and moved into a 40+ year old home in Orangevale. The house needed a few upgrades, among the most important a new electric panel. Sam did a super job installing a Square D box. In addition, Sam was very helpful answering my questions about potential future needs to switch from gas to electric. I strongly recommend that he be considered for your potential electrical needs.

Ive hired him several times to perform jobs as simple as installing ceiling fans to pulling and running a dedicated circuit for a new outlet. Each time he is thorough, fast and he cleans up afterwards. He takes into consideration esthetic concerns and downstream costs his work may or may not impose on me. I called Samme and recieved an immediate call back and scheduled a time later that day for an estimate to wire and install 4 ring cameras. When he arrived he looked at the job, made suggestions for the best camera placement, and provided me with an estimate. Based on my experience with him, I asked him to do the job. He came the next morning and did a great job on the installation. I recommend him because he answered the phone, provided updates via text, and his pricing was both fair and transparent. I am going to use him to install an EV charger in the future.

Saman did a great job for us today. We had a light switch that made a popping sound, and then it smelled like burnt plastic. I called him earlier in the day, and we set up a time for later. He texted me probably 2 hours before our original time to meet to let me know hed be an hour later. I really appreciated that. He came and was very cordial, professional, and explained what he was doing for us. He replaced the part and actually upgraded our switch and made sure everything worked perfectly. He then took the time to answer some other questions. His price was very fair too. Super happy with Saman and will be having him come to fix some other things for us.

It felt like other electricians were jacking up their price by the price of the SMUD incentive. If it wasnt for some requirements specific to my install, the incentive would have covered my install. 2nd time I hired them! Super fast and easy to make an appointment. Very friendly. I first hired him to instal an electric cooktop. My old cooktop was from the 50’s and needed some updated electric. He was able to get it done quick. The updated electrical looked great. I then hired him a few months later to redo the electrical for an old range hood. By the time I called him and got the range hood installed was 3 days. Super quick. Overall I would call him for any electrical jobs I need to get done.
