    We recently had Golden Plumbing work on a clog in our kitchen. To begin, he was quick to respond, even on a weekend, for a next day appointment. When John arrived he wore shoe covers and kept his work space tidy. Prior to doing any work he described each option and the potential outcomes. There were no additional expenses that were added on at the end.Needing to call a plumber for an emergency is not ideal, but John, with Golden Plumbing made the experience go smoothly. We’d recommend him for any plumbing needs you may have.

    John is a fantastic plumber -- hes fast, reliable, and honest as they come! He communicated early and often, advising of pricing and options before he started work. And he still came in under the price he quoted! I had him come back for an urgent repair, and he was onsite in less than an hour to fix it and get our dishwasher working again.     I had a wonderful experience with John from golden plumbing! My kitchen sink had a horrible leak- I spoke with a very kind and patient employee over the phone and then I was able to schedule a same day appointment! He was on time, and I received text notifications with his photo so I knew who to expect and was given his card when he arrived. He was professional and quick, and gave me several different options and price ranges to fix my sink. He noticed another issue before he left, and inspected my bathrooms and then provided several different options for a quote on what I needed to fix this as well. I am very happy with this service and will continue to use golden plumbing in the future!

    I would absolutely give Golden Plumbing a five star rating and its owner, John Collins. When I called him for service he responded right away and made an appointment for a day that was convenient for me. He came to my home at the agreed time and day and completed the job of replacing both bathroom sink faucets in a reasonable period of time. Prior to calling him I called several plumbers and left messages but Golden was the only one to return my call. Obviously, John is now my chosen plumber on Whidbey Island in Washington State.

    Our shower/tub faucet began to drip a lot. I gave him a call and said he could be at my home within 3 hours. Great response time. He looked at the problem and fixed the leaking faucet in no time.     I called John for a suspected leak that turned out to be something that just needed to be tightened. He ended up cleaning the drain and installing 2 much needed new toilets as the old ones were over 40 years old! His price was fair and workmanship is excellent. Most importantly, this work was for my 87 year old father with memory loss. John was compassionate, trustworthy and took the time to visit with him which he didn’t have to do!     John was absolutely amazing! He is the owner of Golden Plumbing. He does honest work and actually fixes the problem! He was so polite and respectful and followed all COVID guidelines and regulations. He always showed up right on time and sent me a text before hand that he was on his way. I have had some horrible luck with plumbers and John saved the day. Will definitely always be calling him in the future for all types of repairs. Not only did he fix my sink in the bathroom, but he checked all the other faucets to make sure they were in good shape before leaving. In the past I have had plumbers make a huge mess and just leave it for me to clean up. John made sure everything was clean and put back after he was done. I appreciated that very much!     Golden Plumbing, more specifically .John Collins ,is an A1 business.. John answered our call and request by email immediately.He showed up when he said he would and evaluated our problem professionally and quickly.The installation of two toilets was done with excellence. He cleaned everything up perfectly after his work was done.John also installed a pressure valve in our water system, giving us a much better system that we can easily access .John knows plumbing, understands the codes and is an all-around nice person to deal with.We will use him for any other plumbing issues we may have in the future, and recommend him to anyone needing plumbing services.

    Had an emergency, water was coming up from the all the shower drains and the toilets wouldn’t drain. This business was the only one open on a Saturday and John was completely profession over the phone and thorough. He arrived shortly afterward and got to work immediately, very transparent with what he was finding and explained what our options are. Afterward he double checked all our water faucets and found another issue with my personal sink and fixed it no charge. John is very personable and considerate with having coverings for his shoes and keeping his mask on, we’re very satisfied with the service and feel confident that should the need rise he can come over.

    John was afknmazing!! I had a leak that had used 1500 gal of water in 5 days. I called another company first & they couldnt come until 4 days later. I called John at Golden Plumbing, explained my situation, and he came right over to see what was going on. He had another call, but took the time to stop by first to access the damage & then returned after finishing that job. He was punctual, personable, professional, and his pricing was beyond fair. Same day service. He didnt try to I will call him for all of my plumbing needs!!

    We had an angle valve malfunction and flood our house. I called multiple plumbers immediately and was told no less than a week before someone could make it out to me. John stated that he could be there the next day, but later he called and said he felt bad about not coming sooner during my emergency and came the same day. He fixed the valve and came back another day to replace all of the valves that were dated in our home. He is very responsive, knowledgeable and easy to talk to about your needs. My home needs repairs from the water damage, and John is already penciled in to do our plumbing when it is complete.

    John and Sam came to our rescue. We have a little older home in Oak Harbor, Penn Cove area. Our main problem is excess Root buildup in our Sewer line to the main Street line. This Issue was horrible and was causing a backup into our showers. Another Plumbing company that shall remain unmentioned came out earlier in the month to only overcharge us for a very Temporary fix. John has since been out to actually evaluate, discuss and make repairs needed. He also will be doing a regular preventative maintenance on our system.     I have a home on south Whidbey Island and recently had a sewer drain clogged. It was Friday afternoon and when I called Golden Plumbing the owner answered immediately and said he would be there on Saturday morning! He had the right tools, the right attitude and the right training. He fixed my problem right away! He also looked over the whole system and recommended some updates, code and safety issues.     Short review: 5/5 stars, trustworthy, diligent, prepared, professional, upfront, good communication, thoughtful and respectful.Longer review:On initial call the owner was responsive and let me know up front about their cost and what it would be for an initial review. He told me how they would allow me to see the price as they went along so I was not in the dark.Come the day of: I receive a text message that they were on the way with the picture of who was arriving.Arrival: I sometimes get a bit particular about shoes in my home and I open the door and both gentlemen had on disposable booties. They introduced themselves and asked me to show them where the issue was.They asked permission to move about my home in such a respectful manner. They made sure to evaluate all necessary areas of my home to pin point the issue. Once they isolated the issue they went over the pricing of the initial visit along with what they believed they would have to do next. They explained everything and if something changed along the way they communicated that and if there would be a cost change. They needed rags to help clean up and although I was more than happy to provide my own cloths they provided their own in such prestige preparation.When discussing the price, as I had family over, they discreetly handled it with a professional demeanor allowing me to see the price on the screen of their tablet device.Also they fixed the issue with diligent hard work and I am happy with the results!Golden Plumming is a recommendation I am happy to make.

    The technician was on time right in the middle of the time window provided. He was very efficient and professional. He recommended that we replace our nearly thirty year old toilet rather than just repair it which I hadn’t thought about but it immediately made sense to me since I would probably just end up having more problems with the toilet if I didn’t replace it. He also took a look around the other bathrooms and under the kitchen sink just to make sure that everything in the house seemed to be in good working condition. I especially liked that extra bit of service. I will definitely be using this company again. Fair and honest pricing.

    John was able to come out right away and fix our rentals hot water heater. After being without hot water for 2 days and being told by other companies wed have to wait 3 or more days till someone could come out, were very grateful he came out on a Saturday to get it fixed for us!
