Castle Electric did a fantastic job installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet and Level 2 EV charger in my garage. Jim Jr. the VP came over to provide an estimate, which was very reasonable. Two days later Brian the electrician installed everything in under an hour, and I was already charging my EV! The team is extremely competent, honest, and provided excellent customer service. They were on time, and left my place clean exactly as they found it. Highly recommend their services!

Great experience from the beginning to the end. Need service upgrade to 200amp and EVSE installed. Jack came out on time to give us an assessment and the estimate. He was honest and didn’t try to upsell anything we don’t need. When I accepted the estimate online their office called me promptly to schedule the service. Michael the lead electrician arrived on time, and finished the work in two days. They weren’t trying to rush. They were great with my dog (shut the door behind them etc.). They are professional and explained everything to us. They were also able to add a last minute change order (asked them to install an outdoor outlet). Great experience overall!

This is without hesitation the best electrical services company weve ever worked with. I called Castle Electric after seeing good reviews online. I was not disappointed. Josiah came early, diagnosed the problem quickly, and made sure I understood why the problem had occurred in the first place. He showed me the sloppy wiring a previous contractor had put in place, and I know enough about wiring to know he was right. He took the time to completely rewire the box instead of just replacing one switch. Also diagnosed another issue of poor planning by the electrician who did our kitchen, and suggested a good workaround. I will be calling this company again! Thanks Josiah!

She arrived on time, advised me of what she would be doing (replace a defective Nest smoke detector) and she went right to work.A very important part of the project was understanding how to setup my Nest Protect application (post previous installation). The system now performs as it was designed to work.While professional electrical work is expensive, having the peace of mind that it has been done correctly offsets the cost. I recently had Castle replace and relocate my electric panel. When I contacted Castle about getting an estimate, they were able to get that done within one day of contacting them, with the company president being the one who actually came out to do the estimate. The process of getting the estimate and accepting the estimate online was very straight forward and easy, and once I accepted it, they were able to get me on the schedule quickly to do the installation that same week.The two electricians, led by Zurich, were on time for the installation, were able to get the work done quickly, efficiently and with no issues, and were friendly and able to answer any questions I had. They were even able to get the installation done faster than originally estimated and I was very happy with the new panel.Castles online service portal and automated text message system helped make the entire process go smoothly.I had previously used Castle to have them replace some 4-way light switches, and they did a great job with that too. I plan to call them for any future electrical work.

We hired Castle Electric to install LED light fixtures in the ceilings of several rooms at our place. They dispatched Jim the estimator within a few days of initial contact, and the pricing was transparent, following some work that we added afterwards to the project. The electrician team led by Zurich showed up on time and installed several fixtures cleanly with minimal holes produced in our walls and ceilings. Zurich and his co-workers were friendly and gave helpful suggestions in planning the placement of the fixtures. They also were careful in preventing dust from falling on our furniture. The fixtures are attached to dimmer switches and look great, and they really light up our rooms well. I highly recommend Castle Electric, and I would hire them again if I need work done in the future.

Castle Electric returned my phone call for assistance immediately and scheduled an appointment, I didn’t have an emergency, but they stayed in touch with me and did have a crew available prior to my appointment which I accepted. Robert Randall and Josh Wagner came to my house to fix outside wiring and installed an outdoor light. In less than an hour the old lighting installation was removed and a new light installed in a new location. All junk was removed and my deck left spotless. The work crew was personable, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to have at my house.

I’m glad I found and hired Castle Electric. Their electricians installed one new GFCI outside and two new outlets inside, and repaired several indoor outlets.Jim Sr. came out to do the estimate about 10 days before the job, and Laku and John did the work. They showed up on-time, knew what the plan was, made it clear which rooms they wanted to start in, and got right to work. They didn’t do unnecessary chopping of our plaster, and the new outlets went right where I wanted them. Laku told me about a couple of outlets that didn’t need repairing after all, so Castle took those off the invoice accordingly. The guys worked efficiently, didn’t scare our 3 hermit-like cats unnecessarily, and finished several hours before I assumed they’d finish. They were serious about the clean-up, too. If not for the new and fixed-up outlets I couldn’t tell they were here.The communication and online scheduling were smooth, too. Tracey (office manager) was friendly and sent confirmations at just the right times. I’d forgotten to show Jim one outlet on our walk-through, but I sent him some clear pictures of it and he was able to add it to the quote post facto and for a reasonable amount.Real smooth experience. I would hire Castle Electric again.

Let there be light!We hired Castle Electric to do a handful of fixes and upgrades shortly after we moved into a new home. When I reached out about an estimate, they responded quickly and got our walkthrough scheduled in a timely manner. The owner was the one who came to give us our estimate and he was very friendly. I love that he generated a handful of quotes at different tiers and let us adjust these as needed.The work itself was done by two of Castle Electrics technicians. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished within the estimated timeframe. Our 99 year old father had a complete power failure. Castle came out immediately and within two days replaced every wire and put in a new electrical panel in a new location. It was amazing that they were out to his house immediately and replacement was done without a hitch. The wiring inspector commented on what a great job they did. It was a huge job and it was a really difficult situation as my father would not leave the house. We are so grateful to Castle. Before writing this I read prior reviews. We are adding our rating of EXCELLENT to Castle Electric Company. From the daily office contacts to the skilled and friendly electricians, it’s been a positive experience. Outneed was to have the knob and tube wiring removed and to rewire the entire house which is a single family 2100 sq ft hip-roof two story colonial built in 1900 with an unfinished basement and a large unfinished, insulated walk-up attic. The two electricians were GREAT. Their daily work and contact with my wife and me put us at ease (this was a daunting project for us) as they worked their way through our house. It was not difficult for us (retired) seniors to go about our business as they went about theirs. We have every reason to say you should expect a positive experience with this company. I called Castle Electric, fully expecting to be told we would have to wait until tomorrow to have a technician come out to the house (especially since it was after hours), but from initial phone call (answered by a very friendly woman) to Mikes arrival, quick repair, and departure was under two hours. Your mileage may vary on that but we got lucky, as Mike was in our town already and had everything he needed on his truck to get our repair done. I would not hesitate to use Castle Electric again. I called one morning to inquire and was greatly pleased to hear that they could have someone come as soon as 11 AM the same day. Tracey who took my call was completely upfront about what I could expect out of the visit, so there was no chance of surprises.The team arrived right on time. They were highly professional, receptive to questions, and took great care to ensure that they left my home in a clean state. While on-site, they found one light in my shower that was not IC-rated, explained to me how to properly interpret the label, and replaced it during the same visit for a reasonable fee in far less time than it would have taken me. They made sure to ask for my preference about color temperature and silicone application before completing the exceptionally neat installation.I was elated to have the signed IC form in my email inbox the next morning. Moved into a new house and had some issues with lights humming and switches not working that Castle Electric came out and fixed. They arrived within a day of me calling and were on time and diagnosed the issues, explained them to me, and fixed everything. A year later we were doing some renovations and needed some outlets moved, and some removed and they were just as quick and did all of the work quickly and did nice work, offered advice on what we should do, did the work perfectly, and were clean. Everyone there is friendly, professional, and do good work and I would definitely recommend them.

Castle Electric surpassed my expectations! Josh and Brian arrived on time, and were professional, courteous, and efficient. I’d been struggling to resolve a smoke alarm issue for far too long. I had consulted with a couple of businesses, and also had the fire department come out to advise me on why the alarms were chirping frequently. Battery changes didn’t make a difference. Castle Electric was able to tell me why the problem was happening. I requested all new detectors, and They were installed carefully and tested to be sure everything was working right. Josh and Brian even stayed for about a half hour following installation, to make sure there was no chirping! I highly recommend this company. We were also interested in recessed lights for our living room and kitchen. Jimmy performed a detailed estimate and went over all of the different options. They were able to get all of the work done in one day. They cleaned up the mess and did a great job. Castle was excellent to work with in completing some substantial upgrades to our electrical system. We had a lot of old, outdated wiring that needed to be replaced, and they also upgraded our service and replaced our panel. The crew worked over several days and they were always on time and the office was incredibly communicative. Electrical work generates a big mess by nature, but they were diligent about cleaning up at the end of each day as much as they could. There was a small amount of accidental damage to our floor that was done, and everyone at the company took it seriously and arranged for a flooring professional to repair it quickly and effectively. I will absolutely be calling Castle again with any future electrical projects, and would definitely recommend them!

We most recently called them to fix faulty carbon monoxide detectors and also repair light fixtures. It was difficult to find an appointment over the holidays (which is understandable), but we were very happy that the staff called us to let us know that a crew finished another job early and was able to come to our house immediately. The crew did a good job keeping masks on and keeping a safe distance away. I would use Castle Electric again and have recommended them to friends.

But Castle Electric, and especially the electricians Mike and Brian made a dark situation a little brighter!One day, our 70 year old outlets just decided to go out in one section of our house. Mike & Brian came out and identified the problem quickly, gave us a quote and then came back to fix the problem. We had been prepared for possible destruction of our 70 year old walls in searching for the 70 year old wires and the problem. Through some luck, and tons of talent and expertise, Mike and Brian left us with only 2 small holes to patch.They cheerfully and safely brought our outlets and switches back to working order and now, one more section in our old house is up to code. The next morning they showed up on time and replaced all the brackets and re-positioned the conduit in a quick and efficient manner. Afterwards they walked me through the process and how it happened. Castle electric did a free service estimate to see scope of project then I booked install date for 5 light fixtures to be installed - the electricians were top notch - there were 3 chandeliers and two pendant lights - they were patient - precise - detailed - gave great advice - they made sure each fixture was exactly as I wanted it - highly recommend
