If you need heating and cooling help - Call Richardsons Heating & Cooling! Not only are they nice and responsive, but they are trustworthy and damn great their jobs. They have installed 5 complete units for us in our primary residence and several of our rental homes. We continue to use them for service and maintenance work because they are always reliable and affordable. We have also referred them to friends and family and their service and work was the same for them.

Rich is the absolute best HVAC company you could possibly hire. He is professional, trustworthy, reputable, and does clean, honest work. I bought a pair of HVAC systems from Green Homes. It was undersized in cooling capacity, and I questioned it then when I moved into a home I purchased. Finally gave up on them, called Rich. Totally diagnosed the problem, gave me a reasonable solution! Excellent service! Even checked out my daughters furnace emergency (for no charge). Cant recommend high enough.

Highly recommend this business. Rich was extremely thorough in explaining our options when he came out to quote us. He did not try to oversell us on anything and was very honest about what he thought would work best for our house. His quote was by far the most reasonable of any we got. We ended up going with him for installation. Excellent service and experience all around. During install, they identified a problem with our humidifier (installed by a different company and we’ve had many issues with it) and they were able to fix that for us as well. We’re so glad we went with Richardson’s!

My fiancé and I have been using Richardsons Heating & Cooling for a few years now. Rich and his team installed my kitchen hood and bath vents. Rich also recently installed a new water heater for me and my parents. They are reliable and professional. They go above and beyond to ensure the projects are done right. Rich also charges a fair price and we have never felt like we over paid. We are very satisfied with his work and will continue to call Rich again for future projects. If anyone is in need of any HVAC, water heater, or vent work, we recommend you give Rich a call.

I can not say enough good things about this company and Rich, specifically. I called this morning after my home warranty wanted me to wait a week with no AC. Within an hour, Rich called me back to hear the issue, had an appointment time made for today, and one tomorrow, in the event my schedule wouldn’t permit today.Rich was on time, early even, he was kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and made me feel at ease with the work done. Most importantly, he didn’t make me feel like I was being taken advantage of, which happens frequently to single women.The service was beyond affordable and beyond competitive with other companies.Call them, you won’t regret it.Thank you for such a great experience and for getting this house cooler within such a short time!

A/C went out on the day of our sons graduation party, called Richardsons HNC. He called us right back, was able to inspect our A/C furnace. Because of a holiday weekend, where he ordered his parts, they were out of a new A/C and furnace. He kept me in the loop on the status of parts and his availability. Really nice guy with great crew! HIGHLY recommend this USMC Vet!

Highly recommend using Richardsons Heating & Cooling. Overall a great experience having Richardsons come out for an emergency repair on Christmas Eve. Rich was very responsive and professional and we will reaching out when we need to replace our furnace/AC unit.Our furnace stopped working the morning of Christmas Eve and after calling countless companies with no response, Rich called back within minutes and was able to come out on Christmas Eve. He was on time to the window he gave us and communicated when he was on the way to our house. He was able to identify the problem quickly and was able to give us options on how to proceed with how much each would cost and the timeline without pressuring to go either way. He didnt have the part available, but was able to get the warehouse to open (again on Christmas Eve) to grab the part so he could fix our furnace the same day. When he left to grab the part he left us space heaters to help try to warm up our house as it was at freezing temperatures inside. He was able to quickly get our furnace back running on Christmas Eve which was greatly appreciated and was able to get it done before we had any pipes burst or any other damage was caused.

Richardson’s ran a new gas line for me for an outdoor fire-pit. They took great care to respect my home. They put down drop cloths and cleaned when they were complete. I was charged a fair price and the communication was excellent. I was told what they would be doing and how they would be accomplishing the project. They worked efficiently and quickly. Furnace went out. I know a little about furnaces. I had to replace it. I called several people in the Macedonia, Oh area and he was first/only to call back. He came out same day within 2 hours and gave me quote next day. The day after that he was out with new furnace and installing it. So within 72 hours of initial call I had new furnace at good price and he even offered to bring extra heaters if we would like them until new furnace was installed. It was nice to be respected and have contractor that was fast, reliable, professional and did great work.

After living in this home for 16 years, my old AC finally quit - and believe it or not the unit was older than that. I got a lot of years out of it and I am planning to move this Spring, so I was not in the mood to shell out a ton of money to have a new one put in when I am not planning on using it for much more than the rest of this season.I started with one service call to confirm it was truly deceased, and then got several quotes. From the moment I met Rich I could tell he was a steady, thorough person who was not going to give me an inflated quote or do shoddy work. He looked everything over very carefully, taking measurements and pictures, making sure he knew HOW he was going to go about the job before he even gave me the quote. Its very obvious to me that Richs time in the military went to good use!I accepted his quote and thankfully, he managed to fit me in quickly while I was still off work on a staycation. He called me this morning with an unexpected open slot, knowing I was still off work, and asked if I wanted them to come out a day ahead. Its hot out still so I was all for that, and he came out within the hour, and got the job done today.His workers were polite, competent and cleaned up after themselves. The unit was installed with no issues. I have already registered the equipment, and I am now chillin inside my formerly stifling brick home.I will definitely hire Rich again for any heating or cooling issue. He and his crew did a fantastic job, and he did not sell me anything I didnt need. Thanks, Rich!

So, I was pretty sure our AC was shot. Rich came out to check it the next day. Wore booties and a mask. He started by cleaning and unclogging the whole thing. It hadnt been serviced in years. After about an hour of grimy work, it started blowing nice and cold. Now get this...he refused to accept my payment until it ran for a few days successfully! I said, no, no I can pay now! He said no, lets make sure thats all thats wrong. Its been over a month and it works like new. I will recommend him to all my friends!
