    Tony was my technician. I had a leaking water softener. I just wanted to stop the leak.Tony provided a temporary bypass fix.Also providedan estimate for a new bypass valve.     I called to attempt to clear a chronically slow drain. After assessing the whole situation, the technician determined and I agreed that an attempt at a quick mechanical fix would be too risky. Short-term I will use a good drain-clearing agent provided by Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, and long term will replace the old pipe. What I received was expertise, and that was worth every penny.

    We used Ben Franklin for a clogged drain. We had never used them before and the ease of booking an appointment online for the same day was fantastic. Two very polite and friendly young men came and did a great job. The task turned out to be a much bigger challenge than expected and they kept us informed as to what they were doing and why it was taking some extra time. We really appreciated this and we felt the bill was very fair.

    My first call, as a new homeowner, was my local Benjamin Franklin Plumber. What incredibly through work inspecting all the plumbed systems and even flushed my hot water tank! Very happy customer!!Funniest thing was found blocking the floor drain, a window crank! Like what?!

    Dustin came out twice to help us decide if we needed to have an Iron Filter installed. The first trip he was early, knowledgeable, polite, and answered all our questions, very professional. The second trip was to install our new Iron Filtration system but had let us know with the number of people and our projected water useage he thought it best to go with a 2 tank system instead of the 1 tank we had originally discussed and how that would benefit us while staying at the same exact price originally quoted. Again he was excellent to work with, we highly recommend working with Dustin at Benjamin Franklin plumbing!

    Tom solved & repaired a potentially serious leak i discovered above my electric water heater. This was due to an installed PLASTIC valve which supplied an inactive RO unit, that started leaking. Tom installed a new connection tube & valve, which solved the problem, and looks like a PROFESSIONAL did the work. I was hesitant to put a wrench on the plastic valve to tighten & stop the leak. IF I broke the valve, Id be forced to shut off all water supply in my house, for who knows how long. Had that plastic valve split open, say at night, I wud have a indoor pool where the basement used to be! TOM is a Master plumber, & a TOTAL professional !     Our hot water wasnt working l, so we called Benjamin Plumbing and left a message. We received a call from the company first thing in the morning, and Tom Olson came out early in the day to fix it. He checked the water heater over and tried to fix it, but it needed a replacement. He called the office and arranged for someone to come and drop off a new hot water tank while he started removing the old one. He got the new one installed and cleaned everything up. We were so grateful to have a new heater and hot water so quickly. He explained the problems with the old heater and told us about the new one. He was so kind, thoughtful, skilled, and professional. He has been to our house before for repairs and has always done such a thorough and professional job...and he cleans up! I would highly recommend Tom and Benjamin Franklin Plumbing.

    I called because of a clogged drain, told Pauline the problem I was having. She took my information and said she would check with a technician to see when they could come out.     The mosaic tile floor of our master shower was deteriorating. We obtained two bids before we learned that Benjamin Franklin offers tile service. The first bidder represented a large company. He wouldnt settle for anything short of remodeling the entire bathroom. The second bidder came from a smaller business. He was strictly an estimator, not an installer, and looked as sloppy as a soup sandwich. He gave the place a quick once-over, then left. A day or so later, he submitted his bid. In it, he inflated the physical size of the job by about 20%. The document was actually a contract that had a couple blanks in it. No credibility, no integrity, whatsoever!We learned that Benjamin Franklin, a company that has always performed superior plumbing service at a fair price, also has a tile setter, Matt. Matt came to our home within a day of our request for a bid. He spent a good 30-minutes, mostly on his hands and knees in the shower stall, examining the scope of the job. He concluded that he could replace the mosaic tile, but cautioned us that the demolition process could damage lower portions of the surrounding wall tile to the extent that it would have to be replaced. He further cautioned us that the shower pan might need replacement; also, that there is always the possibility of mold behind the existing tiles. Matt promised that he would be as gentle as possible in the demolition process.Matt submitted the worst case scenario proposal that I requested. We accepted, and Matt was on the job two weeks later. True to his word, Matt removed the old floor tile without so much as a scratch to the aforementioned wall tile. He found that, although we had a couple small wet spots on the pan, there was no mold and the pan was in excellent condition! Matt worked long and hard to complete the job in three days. His work was outstanding! Equally important is the fact that Matts honest assessment of the pan and mold issues saved us $3,700.With regard to this job, I also commend office staff member, Katie. She promptly addressed questions and even brokered a couple unexpected delays in the job that we requested.If youre looking for a bargain basement deal, Benjamin Franklin might not be for you. On the flip side, if youre willing to pay a fair price for superior work, Benjamin Franklin is the place to go! Their technicians are talented, good natured, and completely honest. Doesnt get any better than that!

    This was our first experience with Benjamin Franklin and we were thrilled with our experience. We had requested a quote to replace an ancient iron filter in our house. Not only were we able to get onto the schedule within a few days, but the prices were more than fair AND we were able to get our filter replaced the same day which we were not expecting. The customer service was second to none. Our sump pump overflowed upon the first flush after the new equipment was installed, and Jesse took the time to fix the sump pump and clean up the water at no extra cost. Anything unusual or problems found during the work were immediately brought to my attention, but no sales pressure to do work we didnt want done.     Tom Olsen was wonderful. Our pipes froze and busted and he came out quickly, found the leak, repaired the pipes, and got my water on with the plumbing working in no time. He was constantly checking in and explained everything he was doing. My water softener unit also froze and released a ton of debris. He had to unclog my faucets and toilet filters several times but didn’t leave until he made sure everything was working properly. I was very happy with his work and the cost.
