I attended the Advanced Diagnostics Course and it was a rigorous 4 days of class and labs. The instructors had a wealth of information for all of us to expand our knowledge and progress in the HVAC field. It was very interesting to hear stories from other technicians across the United States and the way heating and cooling works in all regions of North America. -

This place is great. The instructors are well-versed with tons of real-life experience. For one week, the amount of info you receive is impressive. By the end of the week, I felt like my brain was gonna explode. My plan is to take every course they offer, eventually. 2 down, plenty to go. -

You may not be an expert when you walk into the school, but by the time you leave you will have the confidence and knowledge to perform well in the HVAC field. -

Attended the Electrical for HVAC class. This was the best school I have ever been to. Ive learn alot about troubleshooting and wiring up different relays and wiring up a hole air conditioning system in the lab and in the classroom very great information. Each Instructor took their time to teach you the correct way. The lunches they have for you are the best ! Once you leave you will be able to start troubleshooting units faster and more efficiently. I definitely recommend going to this school you wont be disappointed. People from around the United States come here. I drove in from Louisiana! Thank yall again for a great time. I appreciate it! -

I was fortunate enough to attend this academy. The HVAC company I work for sent me to the Advanced Diagnostic course which was a week long. I had a fantastic experience that will stick with me for the rest of my life. Not only was the course very informative and beneficial, but they also fed us every day with a menu to choose from! Since I have been back to work I have noticed a huge difference in my self confidence and technical ability. I have increased my sales numbers significantly and I am now making more money every month due to the knowledge I gained at the academy. If you are considering attending, or sending a subordinate, DO IT! I can assure you that it is a great investment. I would recommend everyone attend at least 1 course that these great guys offer. Thanks UTA! Keep up the phenomenal work! -

I came to Ultimate Technical Academy as a green technician with less than a year in the field. After completing this 1 week condensed course I feel that my skill set has been improved 10x. The staff is incredible, starting with the owners Mark and Pat. They are knowledgeable, passionate and very hospitable, they seem to really care about the service they provide and have clearly invested a lot of time into producing this program. I attended that advanced diagnostics program, instructed by Mark, the other lab instructors are really awesome, and they all know their stuff. Really appreciate the guidance and knowledge i got in the lab from Ken and Arron (Sp?). This course is demanding so come prepared to work. -

I couldn’t recommend this academy more. The staff here are all very professional, kind, and are willing to help out when needed. The knowledge you gain from the program will undoubtedly be helpful in your career.David was our instructor, and a tremendous one at that. I’m glad I had the opportunity to be instructed by him and learn from the years of experience he has. He took time to explain things and show you the proper and safe way to do it. The guy is super patient and kind. Just a good dude. -

Been in the HVAC field for about 3.5 years with trade school under my belt as well. The things I have learned (day 1 of 2 weeks) have been very beneficial. The amount of knowledge these guys have and patience for all our silly questions is amazing. I still have 9 days in a 2 week course but I know without a doubt I will be passing all in class tests as well as becoming NATE certified because of how thorough and helpful they are. I will keep coming back year after year whenever my company wants to send me. -

I had 2 techs with very limited experience that due to weather last week were 1.5 days late to the class. By the end of the week they both passed the EPA testing and now have a grasp on the HVAC trade. Great instructors and staff. Thank you so much for going above and beyond Pat and Mark! We will be back. -

I just got back from the HVAC electrical course. I’ve been in the field for 5 years collective and I’ve always replaced parts OEM so I wouldn’t have to figure out wiring because quite frankly I couldn’t. I’ve tried everything to learn how electricity works and how to read diagrams and diagnose problems. I’ve tried for years. In one week I’ve learned everything I needed to learn and more. I can’t give enough credit to UTA and especially Scott Brown. He is an incredible instructor and arguably the best teacher I’ve ever had period. If given the chance I’d definitely take another course or two. -

I came from Colorado as an Instrumentation and Controls tech at a power plant. We hire a HVAC contractor to perform our basic maintenance, which we should be able to perform in house. I had a very limited knowledge of HVAC and decided to take the AC and Refrigeration class from Ultimate Tech Academy. I attend up to three classes a year in various fields to benefit my employer as well as myself. I have been doing different training for over eight years. Ultimate Tech Academy is the most beneficial training that I have ever been through. They had multiple trainers in the five days that I was there, which had various different backgrounds that made the training easier to understand. I could not believe the amount of hands on equipment that they had to train the students on. There was two HVAC classes going on when I was there, which had around 20 students total. There was plenty of equipment for everyone to work on without standing around. This is not a class that you should take if you want your employer to pay for a free vacation. Our classes started at 8:00 am and we did not get out until after 5:00 pm. They also require homework at night. I decided to take the NATE CORE & NATE HEAT PUMP tests, which of course added more homework time to each of my nights. After Ultimate Tech Academys class I was able to pass the NATE CORE and missed passing the NATE HEAT PUMP test by a couple questions. For me to be able to do so well on the two NATE tests with only one week of training as well as very little HVAC experience is amazing in my opinion. If you are wanting to learn to benefit yourself or you want your employees to get a great training class you cannot go wrong with this course!! -

I have a few years of experience under my belt and can say that after my first day here I am sold. Through the week we practiced drawing out wiring diagrams. Executing the diagram and checking to make sure it works. Aaron and Mark were extremely helpful and kind in teaching. We also practiced troubleshooting different situations through the week around the lab. I would say ive gained a lot in my week here and would love to come back to learn more. -

Awesome course and even better staff! They bend over backwards to accommodate people. Their training facility is huge and the trainers know their stuff. I am a master plumber but feel very confident in A/C now that I went through it. Next on the agenda is the heating class. -

I recommend this school for anyone entering the Hvac field or anyone already in it. All the instructors from top to bottom know Hvac from electrical to A/C to Heating and Plumbing like the back of their hand and not only that they can put it in words for the student to understand. I cant say enough good things about Ultimate Technical Academy. Their motto is top techs in weeks not years which cannot be disputed. This place is second to none when it comes to this field. -

I am one-man plumbing and heating company that realized I was missing out on a lot of possible calls. Ultimate Tech offers a cost-effective immersion into the theory, application, and execution of everything refrigerant and air related in their AC/HP Tech course, without the multi-week commitment. Coursework and staff make it impossible not to learn the fundamentals of an important trade that is breaking into markets where it was traditionally considered luxury, but is now necessity. With the alteration of fuel markets, electric-driven heating and cooling is even more efficient than ever before. I continue to gain confidence in working on equipment, thanks to your foundation. Thank You, Ultimate Tech, for a great working vacation!!! -

Guaranteed to walk out more knowledgeable, aware of everything you didn’t understand up until walking in, but most importantly, you’ll walk out happy.I can’t remember the last time I had the ultimate Southern hospitality. They will spend all the time that you need/want on the phone explaining any questions, in person showing you anything you’re unsure about and just being the nicest ordinary people you’ll meet; they’ll go out of their way to ensure that you’re comfortable. There’s always a fridge full of cold bottled water and chocolates, there’s fruit, coffee and 10 shelves full of snacks. You’ll sit in an office chair, like an adult, and work in a lab that’s the same as it is in the real world, except this lab has lots of knowledge to tap into on demand. They take pride in their knowledge and in passing it on to everyone that comes through. They’re affiliated with hotels, which they shuttle you to and from every day, and they shuttle you to the airport on the last day. The hotels are near everything you’ll need. You’ll need to spend time reading the book and doing quizzes when you’re back at the hotel (5:30pm), so there won’t be much else you’ll want to do other than eat n sleep. This is indeed the ULTIMATE Academy: learn in comfort and in a manner tailored to you.Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn a new trade or understand the trade in which they’re in more deeply. -

I had the pleasure of attending UTA a couple of months ago, and I can honestly say it was an awesome experience. Brantley was our instructor for the electricians class, and he is definitely one of the best. The classes were just as enjoyable as the hands-on troubleshooting/projects they give you. Absolutely recommend to anyone who is looking to further their education in the trades, you wont find better instructors! -

Almost 11 years ago I decided to give up machining for a career and get into HVAC. I got sent to Ultimate technical academy and it was an amazing experience. I came out three weeks later with a good base of knowledge and started to get sent out on calls on my own. With the knowledge I gained from these classes, it allowed me to learn on every call and build myself into the technician I am today. Anybody can take this class from greenhorn to veteran, and learn a lot. Mark is hands down the best teacher or instructor I have ever had. I cannot thank him enough! -

Review 36 (2017-06-09 - Rating: 5)
I just took two of my techs with little experience in the electrical field and am amazed of how the material was taught. Lecture was great and explained electrical theory in a way for a beginner to grasp. The most important aspects of residential codes and safety issues were heavy throughout this course. Laboratory was unbelievable showing us trouble shoot techniques, different wiring methods, and how circuitry works. The most important aspect of this school are the love and passion that is in places by the owners Mark and Pat. They were an absolute pleasure and made us feel at home. If you are an owner of an electrical, HVAC, or plumbing company this is the place to send your techs. Thanks Pat and Mark for everything. -
